We have a home that is a new build through Betenbough. Grass Masters is who they use to put in their lawns. 13 months ago, we received heavy rains that ended up washing out part of our lawn in the front yard. I am sad to say that 13 months later, this project that should have been a small project is still not right. I can't count how many times we have had Grass Master's out only to halfway fix out yard. Several times they haven't shown or haven't given us a heads up when they do show up. Yesterday someone came out to level this area of our yard. Only to level the ground and replace put the grass that was just torn up on top. This created grass that is still patchy and not leveled due to it just being pieced back in.This is very disappointing because it is in the front of our house right next to our driveway and is one of the first things you see. I feel like Grass Master's isn't concerned about our yard because it is still under warranty due to it being a new build. So we aren't paying them to come out due to it being under warranty.This isn't a project that needed a huge fix. I would be cautious to trust them to handle a big project when they can't properly fix something small.Please see attached pictures from yesterday's "fix."I hate leaving bad reviews but this is at least the 5th time they have "fixed" this problem.

Did not do a professional job. Too many big gaps between sod squares. Sod edges not laid flat. Used dried sod in many ares. Left many low lying ares so water puddles in those areas.

Called these guys and got same-day service and resolution of my sprinkler leak, on a holiday, no less. Very transparent on what the issue could be and what it all included. They even went out of their way to save my sprinkler system when I got frustrated and asked them to just cap it off. I'm very happy and relieved that I didn't lose my front yard sprinklers. Very professional, knowledgeable, and helpful!

Amarillo Grass Masters came out quickly on a weekend when one of my sprinkler valves would not shut off. They repaired the problem, and when we asked them to come back later to get our sprinkler system updated with new heads that all worked, they quickly got everything fixed. We have a really old system, and when a couple of other valves broke, they quickly came out and helped get them all fixed.Service: Irrigation system repair & maintenance

I had them put grass in our backyard. When they were done they never scheduled the sprinklers to water the grass. It was the hottest week and all of my grass died. To fix the situation they had me watering my grass every day three times a day costing me a $600 water bill. They could’ve cared less and in the end accused me of turning off my sprinklers when the new grass was put in when it was really that they had never set the system up to water my grass. They never offered to replace it, and I had to spend another 3000+ on Pete’s greenhouse to start all over. Betenbough even had a meeting with them about it. They accused me of turning the water off after they had set the timers for the grass to be watered. The timers were never set!!!! This is a horrible business full of lies. Do not trust them or use them. And a side note… they are very unprofessional. The workers left smoked cigarettes all over my front yard and backyard. The owner of Pete’s Greenhouse could not believe what he saw with the job done by grass masters.Service: Sod installation

Taylor Spence and his team are awesome. They were very professional. Taylor’s team member saved a lot money and agony by analyzing a sod situation by replacing it versus scalping the entire yard. I will always utilize these guys in the future and I highly recommend everyone else does as well. They had installed my sprinkler system when my house was built and I thought I had an issue with my sprinklers but when he came by And explained that I did not, it was a normal drainage off of the sprinkler. Made a call to Grass Masters this morning, Taylor was over to repair a valve before 1:00. Taylor and Tony did a fast, efficient repair, then adjusted all the sprinkler heads. I could not be more pleased. The guys were polite and knowledgeable. I know who I'll be calling for all future work. I highly recommend Grass Masters.

Did some sprinkler repair and layed sod and planted trees. They were very prompt, professional, and even finished the job early and way under what I was initially quoted. They didn't level our backyard before laying sod so there are big holes all through the yard and they even laid sod on top of sprinkler heads. We've been in our new home since Dec. and they still haven't fixed it.Service: Sod installation
