TURN-KEY SHOP, CRAFT AREA, and STORAGEFred Berry Construction built us the quintessential solution for our new construction needs in Amarillo Texas. From start to finish Fred was present to insure our custom requirements were addressed and provided for. As the General Contractor, he hired and supervised every sub-contractor. I too was able to meet and greet the owners of each sub contractor company to help insure even the smallest of changes were implemented. Fred always answered texts and met with me, as needed, at the beginning of each new day during construction. I could not be happier with the final product and Always defer to Fred at the beginning of every subsequent modification to our barn.We did not initially ask Fred to build us a loft but realized only later the value of maximizing space by going vertical. Again!…Fred to the rescue. He sent his ‘guys’ and within days our problems were solved.Thank you Fred for your diligence, professionalism, and dedication to our needs.

This company is awful. 4 months after when I was told everything would be done, they got the CO inspection passed and left with a lot of work still to be done.This is how they left the job.They didn't do full framing like they should have; drywall work is awful. I have exam rooms and they left a hole between 2 of the rooms. Nobody needs to follow HIPPA laws, right? I had to frame and drywall that myself. Paint is awful. Trim has just about everything wrong that can be. They took shortcuts instead of fixing things right.Electrical switches aren't where they are supposed to be.Outlets still don't work, lights in 7 rooms don't work right.There is a sink laying in my bathroom that they just didn't install.They charged for new countertops but reused 80% of the old ones.Floor is done wrong, baseboards in every room are installed wrong.I asked for washer and dryer hookups in the utility room. They didn't put in a dryer vent.Asked for cabinets everywhere a counter top was supposed to be. We were "waiting on cabinets" for 3 months. They gave me 2 4-foot cabinets that are also wrong and they just left them without drawers or doors. They are just open shells.They stole doors from all the other previous cabinets that were actually in here already. They stole a commercial faucet and sprayer I bought.Everywhere that there are drywall mistakes he says that is texture. There will be a 4 square foot area of good wall then a drywall issue, "but that’s texture."This company is supposed to be ethical. That's a joke. They are the farthest from ethical you can get. They are shady and cheap.I asked Fred Berry if he was proud of the work (the day before they upped and left without finishing) and he said he would be when they were done. So, I guess this is the kind of work he is proud of.If you want your project done, on time, done correctly, or done at a fair price don't use Fred Berry construction because you'll get none of the 3.
