Standard Home Depot experience. I usually go to the other store in town as this one is a bit far from me. Most of the stock is the same, seems like stuff sits longer here as there is often more dust on some items. Workers are friendly and helpful.

Very nice store. We went to find some skirting boards for the side of our house and we actually found it. Loads of Halloween decorations and other DIY products. Pretty big store so there will definitely be a thing or two. The staff are nice and there’s plenty of car park space. You can rent a u - haul van to move big items to your home for $29 a hour I’m assuming. Otherwise definitely one of the better home depots in Amarillo.

DO NOT go here for carpet. Their contractor, Cooper Installation services did a bad job on our installation, and Home Depot WILL NOT back the product they sellI've dealt with corporate and they have denied any claims due to the installers coming out and pulling back 3 ft of carpet and telling us we need a better vacumn and then told Home Depot our issues are from "improper care" of our carpet.We had a lump under our carpet, and the whole house made a crinkly sound when you walked on it.Well, the dirt was right at an improperly secured threshold, the installer pointed it out, and that's ALL they looked at. They NEVER looked at anything else but said that because we have dogs, our carpet has issues.My wife is meticulous about vacuuming and we have a good vacum.On the dog end, we bought the pet specific carpet and high-end padding.I expressed to local and corporate about our issues with Cooper Installation, but yet, Cooper has the final say and what their lazy installers say is it. So, Home Depot won't even talk to us now about the results from the installers visit. I have even invited a local rep to come and see how "improperly cared for" our carpet is but the denial is final.They don't back their products and don't seem to care about customer issues.At this point, all I can say is go local. Home Depot is just a big store that doesn't care about ANYTHING but their bottom line.

Regret every time I come here. Never seen a Home Depot that closes isles like this store. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen scenes the orange grates up blocking an abandoned isle. And good luck finding anyone in the department to help. Making a commitment to avoid this store.UPDATE: placed an online order for store pickup. Waited over 20 min behind a customer with a return issue. Only 1 person working customer service who had zero sense of urgency. So much for trying to save time. So mismanaged.

They had what we needed, but the kid running the fork lift needed an attitude adjustment. Took forever to get our sheet rock loaded, because the kid wouldn’t listen to anyone on how to do it. My husband tried to help and he yelled at him. I understand the safety protocols they have to follow, but I do not need attitude. He also damaged a few of our sheets. I have never once had an issue like this from the store off Georgia. I won’t be going back to this store again.

My son and I went to the Home Depot on Soncy Wednesday December 27th to buy a hundred foot of electrical wire to replace in our kitchen, we found the isle and the wire was in a locked cage so I went to the return desk and asked for assistance on 48 to get some wire , the young lady immediately picked up the phone and page for assistance on isle 48. I went back to the isle and my son said apparently nobody is working this area and I said the girl paged for someone, so we stood around waiting for approximately 10 minutes, I went back to the young lady and a customer said to me ( nobody has come to help you yet) and I said no and the young lady again grabbed the phone and paged for the MANAGER or Assistant manager for customer service on isle 48 and I thanked her again. At that time it was ten minutes till 1 pm , we waited again until 1pm and still no manager or assistant much less any worker so we left the store and the young lady apologized, I told her she had nothing to apologize for cause she did a great job but apparently the store manager just didn’t care about making a 130.00 plus sale. So now I will not waist my time going to that store but it causes me to go out of my way to go to any other store.

I was in the garden center when suddenly very loud music was blasted at me. My son and I both took out hearing aids off and it didn't help. The poor cashier has to work with that speaker right by her face! Absolutely horrid experience!!!

Bathroom was atrocious. Most things broken. What if there was a place nearby where you could purchase things to fix broken toilet, broken soap dispenser, and broken towels? Huh, oh yeah, it’s inside a Home Depot! Ridiculous, manager should be fired. Left the store and bought what I needed elsewhere. Won’t be going back!

05/08/22 - Overall, my experience at The Home Depot is excellent. The only downside is the limited number of Associates available to assist with questions and in locating items. The staff I interacted with were fairly knowledgeable and quite friendly - which helped locate the items quickly, once the Associate became available. Hopefully, the staffing issues will resolve in the future and I can upgrade this review to 5 stars.VERDICT: FRIENDLY, KNOWLEDGEABLE STAFF AND GOOD PRODUCT SELECTION. RECOMMENDED.

Been coming here for years with my bf and he’s a contractor we always get products for the customers and go to customer service and they call the customer and charge their card. For some reason today everyone at the pro desk acted like they didn’t know what to do and was extremely rude! The manager Joe was a complete jerk said it wasn’t their policy, which makes no sense cus when we are remodeling customers homes who physically live out of state how do you expect them to physically walk in this store??? So we go to customer service explain to them what happened and they know us cus they are usually doing our sale for the customer so they called the pro desk asking why they acting like that and the lady starts ringing us up as she always has and here comes Joe again telling them not to help us! Absolutely rude and unprofessional so we go to the Georgia location and we always work with them too and we explain to them the lack of service we received and they know about the type of things this location pulls so of course they rang us up got his pro account pulled up, called the customer and had him pay over phone. It’s not that hard y’all just wanted to be rude and waste our time when the customers home is right here and we had to drive to the other location instead. Professionals who’ve been coming to you for years, you don’t take the time to know who your regulars are is a shame! We will be reaching out to corporate to get this manager dealt with for his complete unprofessional and unacceptable behavior!!!

Ordered a washer online which is very nice. Can't complain about it. But have to work for a living so made arrangements for my 74 year old father to drive almost two hours to be at my house for the delivery. Received my email that they would arrive between 10am to 2 pm. At 9:30 get a call from the delivery guy that he is at the house. I work out of town so can't run to the house so I told him to give me a minute and I will call and see where my father is. He was 10 miles out and I called the delivery people back and said he would be there in 10 minutes. They said they already waited 10 minutes. So they dumped my washer in the driveway and left. When my father got there it was 15 minutes before the scheduled delivery time but of course they had already dumped the washer and left. So disappointed that this is how we were treated.

I went into Home Depot on Soncy this afternoon and found something that is very rare. I went in the garden center door A nice man who was checking a customer out looked at me and said “Welcome to Home Depot” and soon after he spoke to the customer at the counter and said “have a great day.” I went on and found what I needed in the store and went to the check out in the Garden Center. The man asked me if I found what I came in for and scanned my one item. Handed me a receipt and said thank you for coming in to Home Depot today. He meant it too. He needs to be promoted to customer service training during a new employee’s orientation. Or have new employees shadow him for a few days That is genuine service something Home Depot and many other retailers forgot about and we have become used to mediocre service. Marion was the name on the receipt. I suppose that was his name. He came from a time when customer service meant something and was expected by the customer. He said more to me in 15 seconds than anyone has ever said to me in that store unsolicited We need more Marion’s

Seems that people at this store hate there job there for give no effort in helping customers. Forget about asking someone to get something down off of a top shelf. The employees on numerous occasions have tried to send me to the Georgia Home Depot rather than find the in stock product. I have to look up the sku and search the store to avoid driving across town. This is terrible customer service.

It's as bad as wal mart. Basically it is self service. Except when you have to have help to unlock the tool bins. I waited nearly 45min for service. The guy at the self check called overhead 6 times for help. Totally ridiculous. Very few people in the store, so they weren't busy.

I came in today to get a dewalt battery operated chainsaw. I watched the project farm reviews on you tube and home depot had the best price on the package with a battery and charger. I went in on a saturday and couldn't find anyone in the department to open the cage so I went to customer service. They paged someone but they never came. After about 10 minutes I asked them for help again. No one came for at least another 5 minutes and another customer came to the same aisle also needing help. They went to customer service and paged them again. I waited about 5 minutes and called the store and asked for a manager. Kevin (maybe Kenny? Sorry.) was there right away and got my saw and even discounted it for the inconvenience even though I never mentioned anything of the sort. There were at least 4 people lounging around with no customers at the desk. I give the 5 star review because the manager did such a great job. I hope he sees this, shares it with the employees and the employees start following his example.

I have been to the Home Depot on Soncy street, Amarillo Tx. many times. I have no complaint about items that I needed and purchased. The complaint is that the business hires a lot of young people and those people spend all of their time either talking to each other or are completely absorbed with their phones. I have been trying to find certain items and have watched these people walk by on their phones or in groups of 2 or 3 chatting away with each other and totally ignoring all of the customers. I’ve loaded a lot of lumber alone as they just walk by in groups doing nothing but having a good time with each other. Isn’t there some training going on or at least some supervisors with guts enough to make them work? Home Depot does have a good selection of products but it’s upsetting to see people absolutely not earning their pay at all

The store itself is ok, but do not order an appliance from them. It will almost always show up damaged. They use a 3rd party out of Lubbock for delivery and installation. Its Daryl Flood which is absolutely horrible! We have ordered many things but this will be the last. After weeks of waiting, our dishwasher showed up smashed in and weeks later the 2nd one was the same. (Maybe check it before it goes out for delivery?) If you need to order from them, pick up at the store and have your own installation done.
