We had an excellent experience working with 512 Solar. We had a solar system installed in December 2023 and it was a smooth and easy process. We looked at quite a few companies and went with 512 Solar because they offered the best combination of price, timeline, and communications. We liked that they are focused on residential customers and were happy to assist with the entire permitting process when some other companies were not. They were also the least pushy/salesy during the initial consultation phase. Once we signed the contract it took about 1 month until installation and the installation itself took 1 day. The system works great and they made everything extremely easy. We highly recommend 512 Solar.

I had been calling other solar companies to get some one to help me get my inverter back to working but no one was able to help me. Until I found 512 solar and when I contacted them their customer service was fabulous and they contacted me quickly and talked me through the steps of repairing the inverter. The solar marketplace is growing with installers who can do a good job with the design and build of a solar system for your home. JP nailed the design of our 14 kW system (produced 101% of our annual need in the first full year of operation) to fully replace our energy usage, and our Panasonic panels continue to perform well alongside our Enphase management platform.But what is something doesn't go quite right? Will your installer step up or will you be on your own? Overall, we felt confidence and trust when comparing their proposals to the competition.And that's what sets 512 Solar apart. Between JP and Austin during project build out and follow-up maintenance (ex: recent call to replace a micro inverter), they've taken ownership from start to finish to make sure that we're satisfied.I recommend 512 Solar to anyone who asks, and they've deserved the 5-Star review that I and others are giving them.

We can't recommend 512 Solar enough for anyone considering solar panels in the Austin area. Huiyun was knowledgeable, patient and prompt in answering all our questions. She kept us informed throughout the entire process, from the initial quote to the final inspection. The installation crew was efficient and finished the installation in one day. They also installed a Level 2 EV charger in our garage. Overall, we are thrilled with our decision to go solar and highly recommend 512 Solar.

My solar installers went out of business, and I was having issues with my system. 512 Solar helped me get my system back up and running. They communicated with the manufacturer for me and were able to obtain a new inverter under warranty. The customer service was excellent and good communication throughout the process. 512 Solar were fabulous to work with. We needed assistance with an inverter being replaced. They were out within a few days to replace it. Contacted solar edge for us to see what portion they would pay so the cost was not 100% on us. They replaced the inverter and hot us up in running in a couple of hours. 512 Solar installed panels on my roof. Excellent experience from start to finish, great communication from the team, they handle the rebate paperwork. My one tip would be to check your roof on Project Sunroof to see where you will get most bang for your buck.

I had a problem with my Solar Edge system where 8 out of 31 panels were not working due to bad optimizers. First company wanted to charge me 2840.20 for parts and labor. Come to find out the parts were still under warranty and 512Solar charged me 1025.00 for the complete job. I am happy with that and panels are back to working.

I had problems with my solar panels and noone to repair them. Although a little far, 512 Solar were approved list to fix them so I gave them a call. Austin got us squared away fast. He could already tell some issues and we ordered some parts. He scheduled a team to visit us to update our system with the new parts and continued diagnostics. They foud two more problems along the way. Austin worked with my warranty and made all the arrangements to order the parts and fix the problem. He's also been making sure my system is working properly. I would definitely recommend them and will be calling them if I have issues again. Thank you! A++++

We were so incredibly happy with 512 Solar, we worked with JP and he was incredibly knowledgable. He answered all of the questions that we had before and during the installation. He was able to work within a tight schedule that we had and his team finished the installation of 22-panels in a single day! Very impressive! We were really pleased with how the panels look on our garage, I would definitely recommend 512 Solar!UPDATE: We were so elated with our initial install that we had 512 Solar come out and install 10 additional panels. They carefully installed the initial 22-panels leaving us with enough space to add 10-more. The install looks amazing, I highly recommend 512 Solar. Additional picture now shows our roof fully populated with 32 LG MonoX panels.

My system was producing less than half of what it was before the reinstall. 512 Solar stepped in and was able to troubleshoot the problems and get everything going back to peak production! SERVICE REVIEWI had solar installed 2019. Have had no problems with solar, but they contacted me Jan. 2023 to say they needed to come check the system, something wasn't working correctly. They came out and found out my internet wasn't hooked up. They had to make 2 trips, cause I was sick and they couldn't come in house the house first time. Second time they hooked up my gateway to my new internet provider.The service person was professional and did a great job. It is so refreshing to have a human to talk to directly. Also to have great service after the installation, know they care about me as a customer.Highly recommend them.

They have been awesome. I got screwed by my solar installer/seller, leaving my system in a place we're it wasn't able to be monitored. 512 Solar came out and fixed the communications issue and was able to finish the onboarding us to properly understand out installation.
