I was just about to begin renting out my house when a super destructive hail storm hit, puncturing holes all over my roof. I interviewed several roofing companies before choosing Design Roofing and I’m so glad I did. They understood that time was of the essence and they had my entire roof done in one day. We worked with Lance Shields, Project Manager and he was very helpful and guided us through the process. The crew started at 7am and had to endure a quick downpour but still managed to finish around 6:30pm. Lance was providing updates and pics throughout. The crew left the property as clean as it was before they started. We couldn't have asked for a better crew and Project Manager in Lance. My wife and I felt really comfortable working with Lance. Just wanted to elaborate on the service we received from Design Roofing and Kyle Akers.We were in unfamiliar territory when it came to needing a new roof caused by the hail storm in 2021.We were so blessed with Kyle’s knowledge and DRings quality, performance, efficiency that he and his crew worked. Kyle always communicated job status and expected completion were right on target. We have no children but multiple pets which needed to be let out often and the crew would always supervise our safety when outside…This work was performed in extreme heat and completed in less than a day and a half. Design Roofing and specifically the project manager, Lance Shields, made the entire process of getting our roof replaced just about as painless as it could be! Lance came around doing inspections in our neighborhood after a freeze and found some serious issues with our old roof. I submitted an insurance claim and Lance came over to meet and chat with the insurance inspector, who agreed with his assessment and explained the coverage. It was just 2-3 weeks between the initial inspection and completion of work. The installation crew was extremely efficient and cleanup was thorough. These people literally destroyed my home. They ripped the roof off to replace it knowing that there were severe thunderstorms in the region on the day of the job. Their own project summary they emailed me the day before said there was an almost "100% chance of severe thunderstorms."When the rain started, it was absolutely pouring, and my house keeper called me on facetime (I was at work of course) to show me the standing water on the hard wood floors of my kitchen, living, dining, laundry, and other rooms. Also there was water pouring out of light fixtures and AC vents. Overall the damage to the home was over $100,000 and over half of the ceilings and floors had to be replaced. When Design Roofing came to see the damage, they said "what we usually do when this happens... is let it all dry for a few days, and then paint what needs to be painted." Of course I immediately hired an independent water damage expert to intervene. When it was all said and done, Design Roofing was non responsive with reimbursement to me or my insurance company.So, if they are even insured or not, I can't tell you, however I suggest you be really careful about doing business with them.Service: Roof installation

Robert Gillespie was an amazing contractor. He replaced our roof from the ice storm that damaged from many trees during the storm. He was very punctual and informative and kept us in the loop every minute of the day. We would highly recommend him for any other roofing needs, he was very polite and courteous And his lead contractor had over 10 + years of experience and trusted him totally. The clean up before and afterwards was outstanding and any extra work that I wanted to get done. He did no questions asked. He was a five star contractor and a really nice person Daniel.

I have nothing but praise for this company and their team. Before I even start on my review I’d like to point out that this company has almost a perfect 5 star review on Google. The one negative post was not from a customer but from someone upset about door to door solicitation. If it weren’t for a door hanger they left I would have never known about them. My insurance broker recommended 5 roofers and friends recommended 2 others, not one of them returned any calls. Logan from Design Roofing, however, answered my call 4 days before Christmas on his day off and was out at my house hours later inspecting my roof because of a leak we had. Upon inspection he found significant hail damage and we put in an insurance claim. Being the holidays he was off to vacation the next day. My insurance company and solar provider were completely non responsive until after the new year. Logan on the other hand, while on vacation, called and checked in on the status of our claim regularly. Ultimately our insurance company did get back to us and denied our claim. Logan assured us we had a valid claim and got us a public adjuster at not out of pocket cost. Tyler our public adjuster, another star on the Design Roofing roster, not only got our claim approved but got so much more added to it that our roof was essentially paid for completely, which was well beyond the scope of our ACB insurance policy. Pretty much every aspect of replacing our roof would have been a complete nightmare if it weren’t for Design Roofing. They were in every way my anchor to sanity. Once the insurance company cut a check and our solar panels were off Logan and his team were there the next day. They were fast, courteous and efficient. The job took less than a day and they were cleaned up and we had a beautiful new roof by early afternoon. Design Roofing is the best contractor I have ever worked with, period. If you are shopping around for roofers you need to stop, this is the one. A big thank you to both Logan and Tyler for making the process seamless. If you happen to get a knock at your door from them maybe talk to them. You never know, maybe you’ll also get a new roof at no cost. Jared did an outstanding job as project manager. Good communication during all steps. His team did a great job. They arrived on time and they were careful and protected the entire perimeter around the house.He explained the whole process for the replacement of the roof. After we agreed to do the work, the work was done in the time promised. First, we would like to say to anyone reading this review how Josh Wargo truly guided us to ensure we get a roof shingles and roof panels replaced correctly. We had our roof shingles replaced in 2010. Josh Wargo and the team saw previous contractor NEVER replaced tar paper or repair panels that were rotten due to water damage. Last year, a contractor stopped by to state our roof needed replacement. Insurance came and stated minimal the guy left. Then this year, he came knowing hail occurred. With Josh, with his clam serene methodology, he went overstep by step with insurance adjuster into deep details. Insurance adjuster agreed and had it all replaced. Josh would send us photos with every detail showing damages unbeknown to us. If it wasn't for Josh, we probably would have new shingles but lots of coverup. I am saying every meticulous detail. As an adder, he is a true Christian behavior making you comfortable and serene. Thank you, Josh Wargo, for caring. BTW, this week we had hailstorm and Josh went over next day to see if there were any potential issues. We had been looking for a good roofing and deck company that wasn't going to be over our budget and did great work. Thankfully Nick Kirkpatrick just happen to be in our neighborhood and did a thorough inspection of our roofing and deck needs. Within a month we had a modern roof and a sturdy concrete porch! The whole job took LESS THAN A WEEK! He took the hassle of working with our insurance company, made sure we weren't taken advantage of and made the whole process feel painless!
