Brian Schikevitz From Stonewater Roofing and his coworker Ryan did an exceptional job quickly repairing my roof - they even came out during the Christmas holiday season on super short notice. The team was very professional, they were fantastic in how they communicated with me, they texted me updates along the way, and sent photos along with the write up after the repairs were complete. I could not have asked for more, this team is amazing and I will definitely hire them again if I need any further repairs or the replacement of my roof.

He was very helpful and informative about how the crew was doing their job. And even though checking for different things such as leaks and other issues are a part of his job he went above and beyond to make sure that I didn't have any gas leaks. Before I met Neal, I had worked with another roofing company because my roof was leaking. I had received partial approval from my insurance company. My deductible was $3,250, and since my insurance only approved $2,659.94, that meant that I would have to pay for the entire repair. The roofing company that I was working with did not pursue the insurance claim any further.I let Neal know that I had already filed a claim and I didn’t receive full approval. That did not bother Neal. He told me how he worked with partially approved insurance claims in the past and had success in getting them fully approved. I doubted that anything could be done, but Neal explained how he completed a repairability test and sent me a video of a previous repairability test that was performed. Neal convinced me that it was worth a shot. After all, I had nothing to lose. Neal was not going to charge me for performing the reparability test.To my surprise, we received full approval after Neal and Alejandro met with my insurance adjuster. I was ecstatic. Not only was the roof getting repaired, but we received a brand-new roof.The reroofing only took one day. Jeremy, David and the rest of the crew made sure to do a thorough clean-up. My husband and I pointed out two small issues that we noticed during the final walk-through. The first was a piece of plastic wrapping from the shingle bundle that had gotten stuck in one of the shingles. They were able to clear it right away. The second issue occurred where the previous shingles were removed the wood facia was put on too close to the shingles when the house was built. Jordan came back later with a multi-tool and evened up the facia.A week or so after the installation, Neal reached out to see if we had found any nails in the yard. I told him that we had found a few nails. Neal came over with a magnet and swept the roof and the yard for stray nails.I am grateful for my new roof. I am grateful to Neal for putting in the extra effort to get full approval from insurance. I have recommended Stonewater roofing to my neighbors. Today, I received my first $150 referral check from Stonewater in the mail and I am told that I have more to come. Overall, my experience with Stonewater Roofing was very positive. We didn’t know that we had hail damage, and Bobby had knocked our door one evening here in South Austin, where there had been a storm back in June that had affected our area. We were none the wiser, but Bobby provided details and facts that showed us that our roof might have taken some damage, he informed us that it would be in our best interest to file claim with our insurance after he competed an inspection for free. We are about to put the house on the market next year and are excited to add a new layer of value once our home is listed. Stonewater seems like a great company if you’re looking for transparency and quality work.

What a company. From day one Brian worked with me my insurance company which was taking it’s sweet time. Finally Stonewater was able to schedule the work thru no fault of their own. The crew arrived at the scheduled time, finished when they said they would and everything was picked up and clean! Alex came out to check on my roof. Then he took a lot of pics then meet with me and showed me the damage. He was very polite and knowledgeable about his business. Once all was done he then helped me to understand what my insurance report said since this was the first time I have ever filled a claim. Christina Couriville then talked with me in reference to the different types of roofing and what would be best in the area.
