Wilson Roofing was amazing! I would definitely recommend them! We had been denied by our insurance twice due to not enough hail damage and a friend suggested Wilson Roofing. They were very professional and quick to respond to us when we reached out for a quote. We contacted other companies and they either didn’t show up to look at our roof or the price was very high and there was little communication from them. Our roof was leaking already, and the weather forecast predicted some heavy rains. I reached out to Wilson’s team to let them know and they made sure to get the roof done before the weather came through!!! Not worrying about our roof leaking has been amazing! Our roof was finished in one day and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards!

I highly recommend Wilson Roofing if you need a new roof! They replaced ours last November and they went above and beyond! They completed our roof in one day and when they left, our patios and yard were cleaner than when they came. Our roof is beautiful and will last for many years to come. The entire team was so professional and helpful to deal with all along the way. They brought out shingle samples to choose from, quickly gave us an estimate that was actually under our insurance company's allowed amount, and were quick to respond to any of my questions. My husband and I used Wilson Roofing to replace our roof maybe 5 years ago. We were so happy with the job they did, we hired them again after our house caught on fire. It was sad to see all those beautiful (and fairly new) shingles go in the trash but fire is fire. Wilson Roofing gave us a great estimate and they worked with our construction schedule easily. They came in quick and, as usual, their construction team was efficient and did an AMAZING job. Another new roof is what we got. I would recommend them time and time again.

Every contact with every person with Wilson Roofing was professional from start to finish. We contacted three companies identified as GAF Elite providers to obtain estimates. One of those companies replaced our roof 18 years ago. Wilson Roofing provided a competitive price. Once we recieved the estimate the job was scheduled quickly. The job was completed in one 12 hour day. The crew arrived early and stayed on task. Although removing a roof creates one heck of a mess they completely and thoroughly cleaned up before they left. Follow up after the job was quick to insure our satisfaction. We strongly recommend any one needing a new or replacement roof to contact this company.

Colt Slayden had looked at my roof before. I thought it had enough damage from past hail and ice storms and probably should be replaced. He told me he couldn't find enough damage for an insurance claim, and said not to worry because my roof was still good enough to protect my home for years to come. Honesty! Fast forward through more hail and the big 2023 ice storm. I contacted Wilson Roofing again for a courtesy check, and Colt arrived again. This time he found enough damage for me to file a claim with my insurer. After my insurer's estimator arrived and confirmed the damage, Colt came out to show me roofing samples. I asked about the AH line, so Colt brought me several sample boards from AH the next day. The house needed to be brought up to city code by adding a metal drip edge, so the gutters had to go. The gutters were done by a separate contractor, but Wilson Roofing scheduled this also. The summer of 2023 was a beast, and the roof replacement was scheduled on a very hot day. Instead of using 1 crew they brought 2 and finished the job in four, yes 4, hours! I assume they didn't want their staff to literally slow-cook in the afternoon. The attached picture shows thirteen (13) staff on my roof at the same time, which is crazy for a roof under 2,300 sq ft. The roof crew was outstanding and cleaned the yard up afterwards. I did find a few nails, staples and discs later, but I have a lot of plants and those sneaky buggers found some good hiding spots. Other Wilson Roofing staff like Terra and Clayton were very helpful and communicative about how I needed to prepare, what to expect, and how they coordinate insurance related items with my insurer. I highly recommend Wilson Roofing.

Requested two inspections for leaking roof, showed Wilson Roofing Jamie the damages. He was not interested and instead asked me what the inspection report indicated for roof problems at 4400 Hookbilled Kiteand I told him that I don’t recall the details of the 2018 report, this is my 19th home and I am disabled from surgical errors and blood clot stroke and don’t recall. I do know that Wilson made repairs in December 2018. Jamie told me he would send me the previous owner Greg Avera report. That did not happen. I never received any report from Jamie with 37 years experience. I asked him for pictures of the damage - did not happen. Jamie did not inspect, neither the 4400 hookbilled kite or 15206 lariat trail property atticsthe condition of the underlayment material, which typically lasts 20 years or less given. He did ask me what my HVAC contractor said, I replied the HVAC is working fine and had Freon replaced two years ago in both homes. 4400 hookbilled kite home is 2003 roof - 20 year old underlayment. 15206 Lariat trail home is 15 years old - I can see black felt from the driveway with no roofing tiles over it, completely exposed.Jamie did not mention this discovery, I saw it yesterday Friday June 23rd when I drove into the driveway.Jamie refused to go into the attic at either home to look at underlayment and rot.—————————So, has the underlayment at either property been compromised by cracked, broken or missing concrete tiles and leaks from severe storm disaster Storm Mara DR 4505?Please send photos of damages of both roofs and reports of costs of roof and underlayment. Requested a supervisor phone number no, I did receive an email address and have subsequently lost the info and asked again for the VP of Operations - Ian to the front desk in a follow up email last week. No response.

Wilson has done all of the work in our roof over the years. Most recently, they repaired our shed roof after a tree limb fell and damaged it. They were super responsive, especially given the timing of my call, which was right after a hailstorm. They did a thorough review of the damage and provided a timely estimate to repair. Terrible experience. First off... Wilson Roofing said the job was complete. They did not do all of which was on the contract. I have have over 35 years in the building, maintenance and management field. Retired from National Western Life Insurance in which I was responsible for all property owned by them. Also retired from the Employees Retirement System of Texas as a building maintenance operator. I have years of experience dealing with vendors. I took it upon myself to climb on my roof to inspect the work. Wilson had not replaced all of the roof vents (gas/exhaust), chimney cricket and flashing. The gas vents were left unattached from my bathroom exhaust line in the attic as well as the gas heater vent. Instead of replacing the vents and chimney cricket they spray painted these items to make it look like they were replaced. Continuous ridge vents were cut into my dormers in which was not supposed to be done. The ridge vents that were to be installed were not the length requested nor properly attached. I found major damage to my siding and trim. I have tried to work with them but they have refused to repair/replace the chimney flashing which was improperly installed. According to them it was done properly. I paid for a roof inspection out of my pocket which backs up my concerns. Upon the third party inspection other issues that I did not observe were found. One which tells you the type of work performed is a vent taped together and painted over. Inspector found soft spots in the decking which was not addressed.There has been misrepresentation from the beginning. To make a long story short they want to come out and repair "some" of the issues but are refusing to acknowledge that the flashing in improperly installed. We have had two rains in which water is being diverted to run in between the siding of the chimney. This is now a major issue. I have given them ample time to rectify the issue with no positive results. I have had no choice but to take alternative measures such as social media,(every site that does company reviews...Yelp, Angie's list, Google, yahoo, etc.) and having my insurance turn the case over to the contractors investigation team. I will now have to file a formal complaint with the Attorney General's Office of Texas and the BBB and small claims court. I have contacted two local news channel investigation departments this morning to see if they can assist in getting the word out on the misrepresentation. Feel free to look at other social media sites for a upcoming more detailed explanation and pictures of the shabby work done and the work that they were to do but tried to disguise it by painting over it. Below are just a few of many pictures. I will be posting a copy of the third party roof inspection with pictures on Google etc. later today. I hope this helps others.

If we would have been able to choose a roofing company (it went through the previous homeowner's insurance) I would not have picked Wilson Roofing. Recently, we had a maintenance man over for an unrelated contract, and he found the carbon monoxide vent for the water heater completely disengaged. He was able to somewhat secure it but advised it needs a more permanent fix. This means since we moved in in late June of this year, we have been breathing in carbon monoxide as we use the garage as a gym. When I called to have them fix this on Nov 2nd, the rep was unapologetic and did not have any sense of urgency. Someone finally reached out on Nov 17th and had no idea why he was coming. Upon arrival, he said it looked fine, and I told him it wasn't. He then looked more closely and said the vent is bent and they will need to fix it. We had another crew come out on Nov 22nd, again totally unaware of what was going on, and said it looked fine. I told him that the previous guy said that something would need to be done. I'm not sure what they did as they left without telling me, and my garage door was left wide open.Update 11/29/2023 - I would have understood that had there been any level of customer service or communication when I initially called or anytime throughout the process.

I have worked with Wilson Roofing for many years. I find their people to be very good. My recent experience was very good but I thought the charge for the service was excessive. Two men took less than 30 minutes to complete the job and the costs was $800 for labor only as there were no materials needed for the job. I had agreed to pay the $800 but did not know that the job would take less than 30 minutes to complete. I shared my concerns with Jamie and he offered a $150 discount which I accepted with gratitude.In the past, I have never looked for a competitor of Wilson but if they continue to raise your costs, I may have to consider it.
