Richard's professionalism and knowledge gives me confidence when advising a client. I appreciate how responsive he is to my phone calls and texts. He explains roofing replacements and repairs with documented photos and videos, so it is just like we are on top of the roof with him. I've also noticed that he will let me know that there may be more than one solution to fix something, and he will tell me the best way vs. just an acceptable way. He prefers to fix the best way.

RS Roofing and their affiliates installed a Unified Steel stone coated roofing system on my home. I'm happy with the roof. However, it has been 4 months and I still do not have any documentation from RS regarding the completion date, what the install warranty is, no certification from the manufacture with the RS install/completion date and they all but refuse to complete the Texas Dept of Insurance paperwork with the required contractors license number and the UL Classification for the installed roof. Multiple phone calls and emails and still they just send me a blank TDI form with a link to the manufactures web site. Sorry, but the insurance company does not accept emails and web page warranties.Service: Roof installation

They were so very quick to respond. They were professional and made this whole ordeal so much easier. Richard handled the insurance for me. I was overwhelmed and he made the whole process run smoothly. My new roof is perfect! They were so good that several of my neighbors also contacted him after they saw their work and hired them as well. We also had interior damage as a result of the roof and he had all of that fixed as well. They repaired the interior ceiling and painted in one day. I cannot express how impressed and grateful I am for this amazing company!

They replaced my rotted fascia, soffit, and siding on the home. They also rolled leak proof substance on my metal roof sections. They worked with me and came out several times to meet for a quote and the workers and boss were both consistent on arrival and professional work and clean up. My one issue is that they were overpriced. But they were responsive, consistent, communicative, respectful, honest, quick, and intuitive. I do recommend the company for this reason as I have dealt with other roofer companies that did not shine those qualities.

I actually have seen RS Roofing from a somewhat different perspective. I've interacted with many roofing companies from the DFW Metro area, and few put as much value in detail-oriented craftsmanship as RS Roofing. Even when a particular detail may be a bit of overkill, if the customer chooses (or needs) a particular detail implemented --- if it is missed, or not up to RS Roofing standards, it is ripped up and redone properly. No half measures are allowed. THAT is professional craftsmanship.

Richard Salsman and RS Roofing are TOP NOTCH! They did an AMAZING job on our roof and provided outstanding customer service.We were moving to Colorado and our son and his new wife were moving into the house. At the time they had a baby girl on the way. The nursery was painted pink, there was brand new baby furniture in the nursery, and everything was perfectly put in place waiting for her arrival.A Texas sized hail storm created a huge leak and flooded our house the very day the baby was being born! RS roofing came to my rescue that night! My husband is a soldier that was away on military duty. RS roofing came out as the flood water crept towards the beautiful nursery. They worked after hours and moved all the furniture. The flood would have ruined the new baby furniture. They personally vacummed as much water as they could and put carpet fans to dry the carpet just to get us through the night. The next morning they immediately got to work! They worked with our insurance company to figure out our deductible. They had the supplies ordered and the install went flawless. The roof went on in one day and they cleaned up all the shingles and nails. Their crew was respectful of our schedule and of our neighbors. After the roof install RS roofing worked with our inspector. Everything went flawless. Everyone in the company was amazing to work with. They made the whole process as stress free as it could be for us. They really went above and beyond to offer a beautiful quality roof AND outstanding customer service. As a bonus we also got new carpet from the flood! Now a couple of years later RS roofing always answers my calls or texts immediately whenever I have a question or concern. They have come out free of charge as a courtesy to check if our roof received any damage during recent hail storms. My neighbor thought our roof looked so good she used them as well. She is also extremely happy. My husband and I are picky and we would definitely recommend RS roofing to everyone we know.

I have several companies go to my cousins home to provide an estimate on installing a new roof. Each company received the same information that is there is a leak in the roof. RS Roofing sent Matthew to provide an estimate and after inspecting the roof Matthew call me and said I am placing a cover over the roof that way if it rains none will get inside. Matthew is very good at his job and wanted to take care of the roof even though his company had not been hired at the time. When Matthew was hired he provide outstanding customer service by letting me know the exact day they would be there to do the roof installation and how long it would take. I would recommend RS roofing to anyone in the area that needs a new roof. He looked at our roof more than once, but did not recommend we needed a new roof until we really needed one. These guys came out after that real nasty tornado blew through this spring. They did a lot of the leg work with the insurance company. Very easy to work with. They came out on time, and on schedule.
