NOTE FROM RED ROAD CONSTRUCTION: I'm sorry that Mr. Clift didn't have a good construction experience and had chosen to write a review like this. We offered to pick up the very small amount of construction trash that was left over and were told they had already added way more trash to what we had and don't worry about it, we were waiting on a window to come in to go back and install that and replace a faulty water valve that was not working properly and were told that 7 days was too long to wait and that they already would have another contractor come finish the work. This situation tends to create itself when an inexperienced homeowner is trying to save money and trys to be their own General Contractor or DIYer. I told this customer several times that it would be wise to plan the job out better, (infrastructure, utilities, design, materials selection, scheduling). I wish them best of luck and I know Red Road Construction learned much from working this job.Thank you

Josh was great at first and helped us with building out a guest unit on our property. However, I paid him to finish setting up a water line which he never competed. He ran off to another job site and promised us to come back the next Wednesday to finish it up. When I texted him the day of to figure out what was going on he never responded. I then messaged him the next day to try to follow up and he let me know that he did not have time but made no attempt to re-schedule. I asked again to re-schedule and he again did not respond.Two weeks later, with the job unfinished and lingering on, I reached out to him again after hearing nothing from him and he finally responded that he could do the work the following month. I declined and requested a refund, because I did not trust that he would show up to do the work that he ghosted us on 2 weeks prior. Now, he's ignoring our refund request, and refusing to pick up any of my calls to talk through the project completion.DO NOT work with Josh as he does not know what professionalism is. He even left us with a giant pile of his trash to remember him by.Will update if we find more issues with his work.

The finished work is beautiful and professional, I am so happy to have been referred to this company. Joshua of Red Road made us the most beautiful sliding barn door. It was a custom job, as the doorway is arched, and the door size is almost 9’x4’. In addition to how well it is made, he also finished it in a timely manner. Would definitely use them again!
