Absolutely the best!Proper Remodles built my cedar pergola to specifications. They were at the job until completion and then some. Derick was willing to come out after the job and make changes as I needed. They also took out old window windows in living room and replaced with a large picture window . I do not believe there’s anything these guys cannot do and TO A “T” perfectly!!I have recently reached back out to them to start new project because I ABSOLUTELY KNOW THEYBWILL DO IT RIGHT!! Due to a garage/house fire we had to have major renovations done to our home. Derek Leger and his team were courteous and professional. New roof, electrical, complete kitchen gutting, taken down a wall, restructuring of stairs, countertops and backslash. They can do it all! Proper Remodels did a great job on my house from damages sustained from Hurricane Laura. Our roof is of great quality in addition with hardy siding, the inside repairs were restored with attention to detail, and did an amazing paint job on the exterior and interior. His staff worked on time, safely, and were clean. Mr. Leger was very helpful and informative with the insurance process as well. Derek Leger and his crew did a phenomenal job on my complete home remodel. He went over the contract , prices and length of time it would take the process to be completed. Not only did Derek show up every day to check on the progress but most days he was here working along side of his guys. I would walk through the house on a daily basis and if I had any questions about what was being done he and his guys had no problem answering them for me. Everyone was very knowledgeable in the work being done. Throughout the process I had made several changes to what I wanted done and they did just that. Yes of course my price changed and I knew that would happen because they can’t do work for free. Derek made just about every trip with me to help me in making the right decision on my materials to make sure everything flowed well together. After all it is his name on this job so he wanted to make sure I was getting great quality for my budget. I can not even begin to show my appreciation for what Derek and his guys have done to make my house a home. Proper remodels has been a pleasure to work with . In the future I will have no issue in who I will call to complete my back porch and outside of my home because I know what kinda of quality I will get. I flooded for tropical storm Imelda and my mortgage company required a contractor that was licensed and insured with all the proper credentials. A friend of mine that works for Proper Remodels and Construction, LLC introduced me to Derick. He had come over and I showed him the house, he knew exactly what to do and how to do it all. We discussed updated changes that I requested to be done on the house, as well as the time frame it would take to complete the job, pricing, material, and everything was well discussed in great detail. Derick even made several interior design suggestions that he thought would improve the appeal of my home. He said he would get back with me about everything in two days and let me know what all the final pricing and complete time frame was going to be. In two days I was signing a contract for a turn key job to be done in eight weeks. During the remodel process, Derick helped me pick out lighting, paint colors, tile for bathrooms, and tile for the backsplash. He even recommended a different stain on the kitchen cabinets. I had a great gut feeling about Derick so everything he suggested I went with. I am absolutely happy that I went with his recommendations, because he did an outstanding job on everything and it was completed in an eight week time frame he had promised. Derick is definitely a man of his word. I am truly proud of my home now, and when people come over they all comment on the house and tell me how beautiful it is. Thank you Proper Remodels and Construction, couldn’t be happier.

iam not much of a review guy but i had to say iam very happy with the results of my home. i started off with a room contract sheetrock floor paint and crownmolding and ended up doing the rest of the house. these guys where always on time and worked weekends if they needed to finish up for the next step of the process. I thought i knew what i was doing but quickly realized to leave it to the professionals and never short changed me on quality. these guys will build my next home!Services: General construction, Paint indoors, Painting, Remodeling, Drywall repair, Flooring
