I was impressed with Neal from the moment he actually returned my initial call.He made the process of scheduling an inspection as easily as humanly possible.I was more impressed that he didn't mind having me around while they were conducting the inspection. He didn't mind stopping what he was doing to answer my questions.Ms.Tyesha was also very kind, helpful and had an amazing attitude and personality as she was conducting her part of the inspection.They really made me feel confident and comfortable that they knew what they were doing. They (BIG) sent a very easy to understand and very detailed report the same day@Neal really went the extra mile when he scheduled a follow up call after everything was set and done.I highly recommend Blueprint Improvement Group. (BIG)!

I wish I could leave zero stars but this review is necessary. I had asked Neal to look into a vent that appeared to be dark around the edges during my home inspection. I asked him about black mold in which he responded that it just looked dirty because the home was never cleaned and he did not have a ladder to check it at the time either. Fast forward months later my three small children, my mother and myself have all been sick from mold toxicity. An emergency trip later & a handy man that got paid 200 dollars less than what Neal Harris got paid to expose the mold that was concealed in every vent in the home. Every person that has come in to deal with this mold issue has stated “any qualified inspector should have caught the issue on a walk through.” When I explained this and asked him about inspectors insurance he said he would be in touch the next day and has yet to respond. Do not use him if you’re looking for your an inspector. Attached are pictures of what Neal overlooked and what my children were inhaling daily because of his blatant negligence.

Mr. Harris and Mr. Wright did the inspection on my new build. They were very thorough and detailed, took the time to look at every inch of my home to make sure that it was to code. When explaining what was found they were very informative and broke it down for me to understand. I am a first time home buyer and am in no way a contractor they gave me the information like a normal person not rushing or dismissive. I will 100% be using them for any other inspections needed.

My fiancé and I recently purchased a new construction home. We hired Neal Harris to perform a full inspection for $500. After living in the space for a few days we noticed a few structural misalignments not mentioned in Neal's inspection report. The misalignments include many of the window sills, light switches, door handles, and light fixtures. Additionally, we noticed that many of the windows were broken and had to be reinstalled. My fiancé and I understood that it's really hard to catch every small detail during an inspection so we didn't bother mentioning these issues to Neal. However, after walking into my kitchen flooded with water I decided to give Neal a phone call. I explained to Neal that 1 hour after installing the refrigerator I found the kitchen flooded with water. I called the plumber who installed the fridge and he returned to our house to inspect his work and the area. He explained to me that the leak is coming from the pipes behind the walls and not the fridge. To make a long story short, the pipes running across the wall and into the ceiling were all perforated by nails. I sent pictures to Neal of the walls/ceiling the plumber tore down in order to change the pipes. When Neal and I spoke he explained to me that he didn't test those pipes because he could lose his license for operating a shut-off water valve. I responded by saying that most certainly cannot be true because how are you able to assess the pipes for leakage throughout the house if the water valves are switched off. Also, why didn't Neal mention this in his inspection report that there were pipes he could not assess due to shut-off valves being switched off. I also asked him to send me a legal document stating that you can lose your license for operating a shut-off valve. He sent me a document that said "The inspector is not required to operate any main, branch, or shut-off valve. I responded by saying "not required to" is not the same as saying you should not operate the shut-off valve and can lose you license in doing so. Many professions are "not required to" provide the best service but that doesn't mean you shouldn't make the attempt. For example, a surgeon is "not required to" make incisions that are cosmetically pleasing but that will always separate a good surgeon from a bad surgeon amongst other things. I asked for a full refund or at least a partial refund but he refused. I decided that I will not aggressively pursue a refund because I know it's a lost cause especially with the lack of sympathy, but for anyone reading this I will warn you to stay away from Think BIG (Blueprint Improvement Group). 3 days after this incident, we found another leak in the sink of our master bathroom. I texted Neal and received no response. It's clear to me that Neal does not take pride in his work and customer satisfaction. His work was subpar and certainly not worth $500. I recommend going elsewhere for inspection work. Or at least go with an inspector that will not hesitate to operate a shut-off water valve which is just a switch.

Blueprint Improvement Group executes every time I need them ! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾Prices are reasonable and they are very professional. I had my initial home inspection done and made additional improvements to my house after a few months of buying. They execute seamlessly. Let’s just say my home builder got called out on multiple issues due to the thorough home inspection made by Blueprint. They provided a report with pictures and detailed analysis of the issues found. My home builder was forced to remedy the problems. I refer Blueprint to my neighbors, family, and friends. At the end of everyday they are my go to Company for any home improvement need and/or construction need that I have 🤗

I would not hire him for your home remodeling. I’ve worked with him on multiple home remodeling projects as his project manager, he failed to complete any one project (there was 3) but still took the clients money and was completely unresponsive to the client and me ( his project manager). I hate leaving negative reviews like this but I feel like people should know and be aware of how he really does business. This is your fair warning. But I have hired him for his inspection service and had no issues (which was prior to me working with him).
