I came in contact with Vintage Reconstruction in early February after filing a homeowners insurance claim. I live in Houston and I look after mom in San Antonio. I was overwhelmed with the claims process. I had to locate a plumber, a water mitigation team and construction company. Luckily, the adjuster recommended Vintage Reconstruction and got me in contact with Robert Willars and Gavin. They understood my dilemma, living in Houston, and were compassionate and empathetic to my situation. With little time to prepare they worked me into their busy schedule. I met with them the following week to discuss timelines and expectations since I had to drive to San Antonio weekly to oversee various contractors. Unfortunately, mom was not prepared for the amount of work that took place and became difficult at times. But throughout everything, Robert, Gavin, Lalo and team pushed through to get the job done. I relied on the team heavily to communicate with me regularly. And they never skipped a beat! They returned my calls and text messages promptly every time. In addition, mom changed her mind on one occasion, and product had to be returned. Although they could have, the team did not push back. Instead, they accommodated her request. Bless them! The work was complete in a timely manner, and the finished product was beautiful. I am most grateful for Robert, Gavin, Lalo and team for going above and beyond to provide excellent customer service!

I am most appreciative of the time and effort that both Leon and Gavin gave me during my water leak issue. Leon came and explained all the procedures that needed to be done to bring my home back to where it needed to be. Gavin was amazing as a supervisor, he explained what the workers were doing and inspected the final work to insure everything was done properly. Thank you both for your excellent service!!!

Vintage replaced my roof due to hail damage in 2021. They also replaced the clear plastic panels on my greenhouse roof that was also destroyed by hail. 2 years later, the once clear panels turned brown and appeared almost burnt looking. After some discussion with the owner, they agreed to replace the greenhouse roof under warranty. That's what good customer service looks like.

Leon & Gavin were always professional & friendly. Both kept me updated throughout the ordering process, so I wasn’t left hanging with no timeframe. The work was delayed because of the weather, however, Gavin kept in constant contact so that I knew exactly when to expect them. They worked in accordance with my insurance company & were also able to have some damaged screens replaced. When my neighbor had had her yard done, the company she’d used, left a huge mess in my yard...nails and all! My yard was completely picked up when Vintage was finished. Vintage Reconstruction, Amazing Service! We discovered a leak in our ceiling in the laundry room. We called a plumber and he tracked it down to an upstairs pipe in the wall of the bathroom which was just a pinhole leak. The leak had been there a while according to the plumber.We called our insurance company and they were here the next day. They got the ball rolling immediately and wrote a check. They then dispatched the mitigation crew from Vintage Reconstruction and they put all kinds of drying fans in the downstairs and upstairs to dry the walls and carpet padding. They were able to spare replacing the sheetrock in the ceiling downstairs because they got the fans to dry it our quickly.One after another department from Vintage came out for the reconstruction process. They send Leonard and Mike to start replacing drywall and to take our bathroom vanity back to their shop to rebuild the box. It was ready for us the next day and installed. Mike continued to paint the walls and doors. Leonard kept on working hard making sure the work was being done correctly. Overall, we are extremely satisfied and pleased with the work and performance by Vintage.

Vintage was recommended by my insurance company to do repairs from a water leak. The plumber had made multiple holes in the dry wall. The bottom cabinets had to be pulled out and part of top cabinets had to be taken down. Vintage was brought in to repair all of this. 1.when the cabinet was reinstalled the painter smeared caulk down the seam with his finger-didn’t even attempt to smooth it out then painted over it. 2. Paint all over the floor. The hinges of the cabinets have paint all over them. 3. I had to go back and re-edge the wall where he got the cabinet paint 1/4 inch onto the wall. 4. Tiles were broke when the the cabinets were pulled out and not repaired-I replaced those myself. 5. The bottom cabinets were rebuilt using the facings from the old cabinets-one of the drawers was almost 1/2 inch off center and 1/2 bubble off of level. 6. I had to re-edge the walls where ceiling paint was down the walls at very unacceptable level. Topper-it took 2 months to get this doneService: Water damage-related cleanup & repair

Based on my insurance agent suggestion, I hired Leon on January 24th to do a very small roof job "tomorrow or Monday".Then, I had to chase him by texts and emails. His subcontractor fixed the roof on February 3rd, at the end. Then, the report was received on February 6th.The price was fair except for charging $28 for a single tile. IMO, excessive.
