He had the crew here after lunch and they worked so fast they finished today! I had 2 big limbs to be cut and 5 large trees to be trimmed!! They cleaned up the area after the job was complete! Very professional, responsive, and amazingly fast! Excellent communication and management. They removed two huge oak trees that fell o n our house (one over 85’ tall), without ANY additional damage in 8-working hours over two days. They left our yard so clean, it did’t look like anything had happened! The stump grinder equipment was amazing and took only 45 minutes start to finish! Roland’s crew did an excellent job removing a huge pine tree, grinding the stump, and trimming a large oak. They worked very fast and cleaned up very well. After the ice storm in Central Texas in early February, we had four trees that had severe damage, one of the hardest hit homes in our Round Rock TX subdivision. Daniel came by to give us a quote. They are insured and the reviews and ratings in Google and Angie's list were also excellent.We selected them. They let me know they were running a day behind, and showed up on the adjusted day. The did an excellent job. They had to go into three of the live oaks to sever broken branches.They also had integrity. The work.order was for brush haul off and the crew thought they were done but the brush was not hauled off. They were going to haul it off two days later.The city came and, without being asked, probably because our neighbor filled out the firm for them, hauled it off at no charge as part of ice storm cleanup.David agreed to my suggested reduction in the bill. I will not trust then again! I used this company last year to trim a large willow oak tree in our patio. They did great even came back to fix some uncut branches. I called then back this year as my tree roots were damage during a backyard project and started losing very large branches. They came right before Thanksgiving, unfortunately I was not able to be at the house to supervise the job. I didn't think it would be an issue as I did the same last year. Since it was the week of Thanksgiving I didn't not want them to wait until next week to get paid, so I paid them and promised that if any issues they will come back to fix them. BIG MISTAKE! My fault for trusting them. When we first met we talked about taking with then all the fallen branches and new cut branches. They did not. I came home the next Monday to find out they did not take all the debri and they did not cut down branches that we talked about. They also lied about scrapping off the ferns of my front oak, claiming they damage the tree. NOT TRUE! It have been two weeks of them telling me they are coming this day or that day. NOTHING. They never came. Needless to say I will not be using then again. My fault for trusting them.

Rangel Tree Service had serendipitous timing this week, dropping off a business card the very week I was looking for a tree service company. Roland's crew trimmed several large oaks and removed another tree. The one nitpick I'll mention upfront is that after Roland saw the property, his time estimate sounded overly optimistic to me, and it was. But more important to me was the results I saw at the end. The trees look very neat and attractive and the crew left things impeccably clean down below. Their price was very competitive with other quotes I had seen. I would tell my neighbors to make Rangel one of the companies they should contact when shopping for a tree service company.

Kevin came to my house offering a free estimate for pruning my trees. It had been a few years since they were pruned so I agreed. He offered to prune all 10 of my trees for a reasonable price. Since I never hire anyone without researching their business, I told him I would let him know later. He came back about an hour later and offered me a discounted price, if I agreed to letting his crew do the work the next day. After quickly reading reviews I agreed. Boy am I happy I did. They did a wonderful job pruning and left my yard cleaner and in better shape than when they started.
