Worst contractor I have ever used. My job was started in August and now it is febuary and I still have issues. Doesn't show up at promise times and shoddy work

Armour Roofing, and Butch (their owner)are extremely careless and lack professionalism. His workers didn't show up for two days as promised, and when we tried to get in contact with the owner he didn't answer or would say- oh, they didn't show up?.. let me see what's going on. Another date was promised and his workers finally showed up, it took twice as long as he promised to get the roof done- poor estimation on his part. The workers were courteous, but Butch should take a lesson from them. This is their second attempt to install the skylight, because the first skylight didn't fit from his original measurements. After multiple promises from Butch that he re-ordered the skylight... (by the phone conversations it was very evident he was lying because none of what he said about ordering and receiving the skylight made sense) he was supposed to replace, it must have FINALLY come in because- I work from home.. so while I was on a call from work, my dogs start going bananas because there's men on the side of and on top of the house! First and foremost, that's a quick way to get shot in Texas... secondly, they never called, they just decided to start installing the skylight without any notice. Removing the skylight that's on my home means he could have easily had access to the inside of our home without consent. When we asked him if he called us to schedule (thinking we may have missed something) he said - and I quote "I'm too busy to call". This guy and his make shift business are a joke. We will be talking to the Vendor relations team at our insurance company to have a complaint filed and hopefully they can advise people against using them for their own protection. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ROOFING COMPANY TO ANYONE!

AWFUL!!! My elderly aunt had this company come to do her roof and it was a nightmare. One roofer was very nice, (the only one who spoke English) Oh yea bc he only has illegals on his crew ( straight from the workers mouth) there is one that has a criminal record in mexico so he cant even become legal. They didnt finish job and said would be back next day but never showed up. finally 3 days later they showed up. Left a huge mess and and Butch was the most disrespectful arrogant owner I have ever been made aware of. If he gets a bad review he threatens to sue you, cusses at old men and women and is just a very mean and unhappy person. i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE........

One of the most professional businesses I have ever worked with. Butch is a great and honest man and my business experience was pleasant from start to finish. No sleazy sales pitch, just honest business. The negative comments on here seem like they come from unhappy/difficult people and they couldn't be further from the truth.

This truck was speeding through our neighborhood this morning with armour roofing and remodeling written all over it. when I called to let company know, they basically hung up on me! Didn't seemed concerned at all, not a great way to represent your Company in a neighborhood full of potential clients.

Butch and the team did an excellent job on my home. They worked quickly, knocking the project out within a day on a full tear-off and under budget. Definitely worth contacting for a quote.
