We have had several other remodeling projects done over the years, and this was by far the BEST experience we have ever had. Agape did a beautiful job on our master bath remodel. We were seriously dreading this project and had put it off for years due to a variety of factors. We are very happy we chose Agape - each member of the team was a pleasure to work with: Jerry, the owner, who did the estimate, Stephanie and Delaina who helped coordinate the project, Nick, the overall project manager, and the very skilled team of professional tradesman.Alex, our main onsite project manager, was truly outstanding. His careful workmanship and attention to detail was far above anything we've encountered during other projects we've done, particularly with millwork. He was able to craft and install crown molding to fit an extremely difficult ceiling with crazy angles in all directions, create beautiful framing around a window, an apron for the tub, and a custom mirror frame - in addition to many other things. We never had any doubt that if something came up, he would let us know, and help us figure out a way to address it - and he was always respectful and kind about it all. It was a relief to feel we could actually trust him and the rest of the team to really "do things right" - that is not always the case with a remodeling project. And we so appreciated Andrew, Dylan, Lorenzo, and the glass, stone, and carpet subcontractors, all of whom were excellent and so easy to work with.Other helpful differences:• The professionals/tradesmen on the project were all Agape employees rather than subcontractors, (with the exception of the glass/stone installers, and a carpet installer) That meant the same team showed up daily and understood the big picture and project scope, which helped tremendously to prevent misunderstandings and keep things moving along.• One of our main concerns was that we work partially from home, so were concerned about the disruption for so many weeks. We had a separate door entry to the remodel area which helped but the Agape team was the most unobtrusive we have ever encountered, only contacting us when something needed to be discussed. We, of course, were always welcome to see what was happening, but we tried to stay out of their way.• We were given the option to pay an additional fee to have project materials ordered and sent to Agape for inspection and storage. This was a godsend.• An enclosed truck was used for trash/demo materials (rather than an open dumpster) in the driveway.• The team cleaned up the project area daily, which kept dust in the rest of the house to a minimum.There was excellent communication and follow-up throughout the project. Nick, the overall project manager, was great at keeping us on his radar and discussing various issues when needed, even in the midst of many other projects. We had a few glitches and delays, as most projects have, but overall things went well.Agape is definitely not the least expensive choice but it is clear that they prioritize hiring people who are not only excellent at their respective professions/trades, but who really care about communication and customer service. That is rare these days.

After having (what for me is) some significant work done by Agape Home Services, I wanted to share a bit about the experience. First and foremost, I am very happy with the final results of my project and I was impressed by the team that did the work. I was initially interested in Agape based on other reviews mentioning that they took care with cleaning and trying to control (as much as you can) the impact of the construction effort in terms of dust,etc. I found Agape to be straightforward to deal with in terms of initial conversations about the project and I was impressed with the team (mostly 3 people) who were involved on a daily basis working my project once it started. Short version is prior to this project I had earlier foundation issues and correcting them caused more things to break. After all of that, I decided if I had to repair things I might as well also do some needed renovations. So my project had quite the variety of things in it: 1) a new concrete porch step 2) brand new Front door, 3) Brand new door from house to garage 4) multiple interior doors that needed "reset" to allow them to close and hang properly 5) Renovation of guest bathroom including a bathtub to shower conversion, a bidet kit to the toilet, changing out the sinks/fixtures and countertop to quartz, changing the linoleum (circa 1980s) to tile resembling slate 5) Renovation of the Master bathroom to swap the shower to what was previously a bathtub location and redo the old shower location as a walk-in tub, new quartz countertop and sinks/fixtures, bidet toilet, new flooring replacing the old lineoleum with tile resembling limestone, new tile wall areas for the shower and bath, and the new, large walk-in shower with body jets.Big shout out to Roger, Andy and Alex who did the bulk of the work. They treated my house with respect and frankly did the work with attention to quality as if it was their own house. Also I appreciated Nick stopping by most every day as a check-in for progress and to make sure any technical issues got dealt with promptly. Behind the scenes Delaina helped manage the project, especially prior to the start of actual construction. Last but not least I also worked in conjunction with a separate design person, Valerie with Cameron Jean Interiors. They work with Agape on occasion although there was no push to say it was required, merely an option if it made sense. I wanted help offloading some of the up front leg work of finding sink and shower fixtures, tile choices, etc, as something that was useful for my personal situation. All of that allowed me to concentrate on continuing to work (from home) and only have to get involved with questions or to make some A or B choices as needed.Every day they straightened the work site and cleaned up prior to going home and they especially cleaned up prior to weekends. They worked M-F "weeks" on my project and all of us had the weekend off and for me that was a plus. I needed some time without construction noise and the occasional nail gun firing off to reset prior to the next week even with headphones :).I do recommend that past your initial conversations, treat it like you would any custom contract work (true for any company). If there is not a line item in the final contract about a feature/change then it won't happen without a change order and adjustment. Same as anywhere but always worth calling out. Agape is easy to talk to so you do need to make sure that the final version, the contract, matches what you expect and need.All in all it was a great experience and I definitely recommend speaking with them about any project you may be considering.

From the first initial call I had with Delaina at Agape, I could tell these folks had it together and truly took pride in what they do. They truly love their customers and whether you're installing tile for them or cleaning up at the end, they only put the best people on their projects. Doing post construction cleanings for several remodeling companies here in DFW, you tend to hear things from customers regarding how long the project took or some sort of complaint about how it was managed. I have not heard a single thing bad come out of one of Agape's customers mouths.The whole team over there are truly some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I had the pleasure of doing a clean while Alex and another gentlemen were there finishing up a few things and his attention to detail and professionalism were top notch. Overall a great group of folks who produce an incredibly beautiful and solid finished product.

We were not looking forward to remodeling our master bathroom. We talked with a lot of companies, but we knew we had a winner when we talked with Jeff at Agape Home Services. Agape's team of workers professionally provided us with all the information we needed. before beginning the project. They answered every question we had. Their crew were perfectionists and courteous. The price was reasonable and ended up being just what we were told it would be. No surprises. And best of, our bathroom looks even better than I had hoped. We truly love it. We would without a doubt use Agape again.

Agape did a remodel on my kitchen and bath and the results were AMAZING! Even though we were living there the whole time, once everything came together it felt like a big Fixer Upper reveal. Colin & Stephan were some of the hardest workers I have ever met - punctual, professional and paid attention to details! We had a kitchen and laundry room remodel and some work (ceiling/painting) in our study this summer (2020). I can't say enough about this company. From the moment we made contact and met Jeff Watson to obtain the bid and lay out our vision to the last day our project lead, Alex, and worker, Flavio, finished, we were extremely impressed and satisfied. We had a very dark, chopped up kitchen and dining space before and they crafted the space into an open, bright area that is now the focal point of our home. Alex, project lead, was very detailed oriented and consulted me almost daily as work progressed. Being a remodel on a older home, surprises happen. But each time, we discussed and the project continued without delay. Workers Flavio, Kevin, Walter, and others were friendly and masters at their work. The attention to detail was so impressive. They weren't satisfied until I was satisfied.I had an idea from a Houzz picture of a niche wall. But, as it came time to install this feature into the wall, we soon realized a picture doesn't necessarily convey the whole story. Installing shelves when the 2x4s behind the niche had to be removed and working around electricity that was in the wall proved to be challenging. Alex's resolve never waivered to figure out a way to make it work. In the end, it is the most talked/asked about item in my kitchen (see pics). They were here every day and left the workplace clean each day. I appreciate how they stage and schedule jobs so the crews are in and out in the least amount of time and disruption.Finally, one small thing, but a very telling thing: I included a pic of an outlet that needed to be cut into the baseboard. Only expected a rough cut-in; nothing fancy. But look at the outlet pic--a work of art. This detail was not necessary, but speaks to how they set themselves apart from the rest. Our project lead, Joe, and Jeff, Delaina, Nick and Jerry from Agape were great to work with before during and after the project. We appreciate the project scheduling where Agape assigns a team to your job and they show up Monday through Friday 8 to 5 until that job is complete. You are not having to deal with days where another job takes precedence over yours which is great and you get to know your team. I'm so happy that I found Agape Home Services to do some work at our house. The people who sold us our home removed a load bearing wall incorrectly and we needed someone to come in and fix the mistake. Most contractors I called told me the job was either too small or didn't have anything available until at least summer, but Jerry really came through and scheduled us at a fair price within a couple of weeks. Once they opened the wall it turned out things were way worse than we expected and the guys told us to bring our engineer out to revise his plan. This ended up pushing the completion date by a few days but we could really tell they wanted to do things the right way (even the engineer commented that he was impressed by them recognizing when we needed a new plan). The whole team was very communicative throughout the process and they were very upfront on costs and timelines. The next time we need something remodeled in our home Agape will be my first call!

Agape was a real pleasure to work with on our bathroom renovation. We have had renovations done in the past by several other contractors and were always frustrated by the experience, but not with Agape. Jeff responded quickly to our request for an estimate, walked through the house and listened carefully to what we wanted, and they were not at all resistant when we scaled back on the final project. They were very professional when scheduling the work and offering contracts that protected both us and them. They completed the work on time without sending random subcontractors - Mike, the project leader, was there every day and did a lot of the work himself. The crew was courteous and cleaned up every day before they left. We are very happy with the experience and the results - we will definitely call Agape when it is time to do the living room remodel.

We hired Agape to do a major kitchen renovation and some other remodeling at our house. Their performance exceeded our expectations in every way. We learned long ago that the bitter taste of low quality lingers long after the sweet taste of low price disappears. There are lots of low cost contractors that are tempting (we got a bid from one) and the quality matches the price not only in poor craftsmanship of the work, but in overall performance as well.Be careful when considering a contractor to determine if the company uses their own crews, or do they sub-contract most, if not all, of the work. Companies that are overly reliant on sub-contractors can drag out a job because of scheduling and phasing conflicts. Agape has their own highly skilled crews and used subs very sparingly. Agape was on the job every single day of the project.Another consideration to watch for are change orders. Many contractors submit a low price but make up for it in change order after change order as the job begins. Agape was careful in bidding and developing the work plan to ensure change orders were minimal. Any remodel job will have surprises when the walls are open. Agape found plumbing lines we didn't expect were there and some framing issues that were only detected when the ceiling was removed. Unlike many contractors, Agape did not gouge us with the pricing on the change orders. The total change for both was about $300-400. The change orders we initiated, as we saw things we wanted to add, were more than reasonably priced. If you use Agape for your project, I am confident you will similarly be pleased if you make additions to the project during construction.Residential remodeling is stressful and disruptive. Agape did everything possible to minimize the disruptions. For example, as soon as the utility room work was far enough along the washer and dryer were reinstalled, even though it made the completion of the finish out of the room more difficult for the team. At the end of every day, they swept the floor and put away all their tools and supplies, even though I told them they didn't need to do it. Their response was "this is how we leave job sites every day."We encourage you to get some professional design assistance when contemplating your project before you go to bid. A friend recommended we do that, along with the name of the designer they used on their project. We hired Judy Armstrong of HomeStyle Select Decor to assist us. She was more than affordable and her assistance was invaluable. The small fee she charges was more than made up by discounts she was able to get for us on things like tile as well as her suggestions on design.Finally, a company is only as good as the people. We hated to see our project end because the crew who worked on our project had become part of our family.Alex, the project leader, is the Picasso of remodeling. While Picasso produced art with brushes and paint, Alex produces his art with hammers, saws, and drills, plus brushes and paint. His eye for detail and perfection is amazing.Kevin was also a great asset. He has a wide array of construction skills and is on his way to developing into a first class project leader for Agape, like his mentor Alex.Flavio is a perfectionist in his work. He did an amazing job of installing new drawers and glides into an existing buffet we had Agape refinish. The drawers fit perfectly when he was done. You can only appreciate the skill and patience of doing that if you have installed new drawer glides in an existing cabinet.Walter is a creative member of the team. We had a great experience with Agape! They redid our master bath recently but we’ve also used them about three years ago do build French doors on our office. Eric and Dale were super professional, kind, and very detailed. They cleaned every day before they left, kept their tools and supplies organized in our garage and were nice to our kids! Will definitely be using Agape in the future when we renovate our guest bathroom.

Agape just finished a full master bathroom remodel at our house (and some other smaller projects too), and we could not be happier with the results and the entire process. It was a big project, tearing out the entire bathroom and even moving walls and plumping. Every person we worked with was helpful, honest, and great to work with.Jeff gave us a very detailed estimate that proved to be right on the money as the entire project came in right on budget.Delaina did a great job helping us make some decisions on what we wanted, and created a very helpful rendering before the project began so that we could get an idea of what everything would look like. This was extremely helpful in making final decisions.Mike was our project coordinator and oversaw the whole project. He was beyond helpful the entire time, and completed everything right on schedule.Overall we could not be happier with the results and have experienced firsthand why all of the reviews are so positive about Agape. Compared to the many horror stories we have heard about remodeling contractors, you won't find anything like that with Agape. Thank you for a great new bathroom!

Our house is 15 years old. So, it had a small shower and a large Jacuzzi tub that we never used. When we decided to remodel our shower/tub area, we contracted with Agape Home Services to do the job. And, we couldn't be more pleased. Joe and Eric did a great job for us. They were always on time, put in a full day's work, kept us posted on the progress. helped us make decisions, added a couple of small tweaks, and did a very professional job.Our shower and tub area looks wonderful now. As an interior designer, I've worked with tons of contractors, handymen, and home reno companies. Agape, by far, has exceeded any expectations I had. The guys on the crew were ALWAYS right on time, worked hard while on site, were respectful the entire time, cleaned up at the end of each day, and did a really great job overall.
