I’m sure I’ll be flagged as a fake account but I do not recommend Covey Remodeling. We have a patio cover that they built and it is not structurally sound per the engineer we hired after this company walked off the job. I’ve had to have areas of the new roof fixed and a fireplace cap that was damaged during the construction and caused a water leak which has damaged our master bath room. I have asked the owner of this company to remove our pics from his fb page and he deletes my comments. I’ve told him I do not want him using our pics to victimize other people with our photos. He still hasn’t removed them. I have to have the patio cover redone due to the lack of engineering knowledge. I have a letter of intent to lien our property from a sub this company hired which means court will happen to get this resolved along with the other issues. There is lots more but do your research on contractors before hiring any contractor. You call me. You have me blocked.... Remember..... the job was not completed in Sept. of 2020. You walked off the job in January of 2021.Edit…. Still waiting on a call or email from you. Your response stated I could reach out to you and this is the first time you are hearing about this but you blocked me at the end of January 2021. You worked on our house for 7 months and when you realized that the structure wasn’t designed correctly you walked off the job. You also told me you had the fireplace cap ordered to be replaced because it was damaged during the construction. We ended up with water damage in our master bath and in the living room…. I have a quote to fix the structure for $8,500.00 which is more of a cost to us after we had already paid you 22k plus what insurance gave you for the roof and part of the fence which we had to pay $800 to have a new roof repaired and a fireplace cap which cost us $860.00 because you wouldn’t fix it after your subs damaged it. STILL WAITING FOR YOU TO CONTACT MEEdit....... I'm guessing you do not want to honor your work that you have done like is says in your reply on this review. Still waiting for you to reach out and fix the problems you created for us but with what we have experienced with you tells me this isn't the first time. You walked off the job and blocked us. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COVEY REMODELINGEDIT - STILL WAITING FOR YOU TO HONOR YOUR WORKEDIT - I'm guessing since you have deleted all of your replies back to the reviews that were on here you have once again not honored your work with your customers. I also have to have another leak fixed around our fireplace at the base because your lack of knowledge and not coming to watch your subs you hired. Worst company ever. I DO NOT RECOMMEND COVEY REMODELING OR HIS NEW NAME OF CRCEdit - There is no lien on our house. I talked to Level Set and all they did was the paperwork that Robert never filed. We got a letter of intent from sub contractor y'all never paid but no lien on our house at all. Like I told Robert and the Collection Company you all had calling me I deal with liens for my job that I've done 30 years now and there is a time frame the lien needs to be filed. This is past the time frame so no lien was every filed. Plus Robert did not honor his contract. Remember y'all walked off the job leaving things not done correct and unfinished. So why would I pay y'all plus I had to have a fireplace cap replaced because your guys caused it to leak and your husband told me several times he had a new one ordered and had water damage and several other things. Robert also charged us for the few things he tried to fix that y'all shouldn't have charged us for those were CRC's mistakes not ours. You all did not complete the job. We have had to get things fixed so saying you completed the job is far from the truth. She helped us with our insurance claim, and kept us informed throughout the process. Covey removed our old damaged roof and replaced it with a very high quality Certainteed roof. Covey Remodeling made my house look better than it did before Hurricane Laura hit. The workers were professional and hard-working. Mr. Covey was patient with me when I became frustrated with the process and worked with the insurance company to get additional funds for repairs that were not identified during the first survey of the property. I have a home that I enjoy now more than I did before the repairs. I would highly recommend their company to people who need repairs on their homes. I highly recommend Covey Remodeling. Anthony walked me through the whole process of dealing with my insurance company, materials being used and the process of putting on the roof. Robert followed up with me as well. He was onsite while his crew put on the roof. His crew was very professional and cleaned up afterwards. If not for the obvious new roof, you wouldn't have known they were there. Thanks Covey Remodeling for a job well done.

Even after I gave my word to finish a job I started Mr. Covey gave me a check I am unable to cash. He stats that he hired someone else to do the job pushing me to the side. Also instead of confirming time of work he jumped to conclusions and stated false information. To date he refuses to pay or answer. Wonderful guy bad business
