These guys are awesome. They've ordered everything i wanted to build my house, even specialty products. For rockwool insulation they said 4 days for delivery, showed up with it the next day. And if you need advice they are all extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

My contractor recommended in using Mccoys to buy everything for my new house we are building from the ground up. I was sent to the commercial sales office to get some information on Special order windows and doors.After standing there for 10 minutes an employee, Cherri walked in to her office without asking if I had been helped.When I tried to get her attention, I heard slamming and walked up to me and asked How can I help you..I proceeded to ask her about getting information on windows and doors and she said “ Ma’am I am extremely busy right now, Ill try my best I can to help you but, the girls up front are more than capable to help you out with this information as well.”I just told her I was sorry for bothering her and walked away. Such a shame to have employees like that, that put a bad name on the store.

If you go before 8am you cannot get help,has happened several times to point of being sick of it!!! Usually there once week,nobody will help you in yard employees are always loading trucks and ignore customers,this morning two customers loading on stuff and I loaded mine because tired of sitting in line to be constantly drove by with no assistance!!!!,😡

Was at store yesterday looking for Sheetrock tape, mud, and tools. Employees around but absolutely no customer service what so ever. For now on will go down the street to the smaller lumber, hardware store, great customer service.

These people are just AWESOME!! I've been there too many times to count. Mike Cook is great, and runs a great staff. But I had to stop and write a review because... I just placed an online order with delivery; they were already working on it when I called minutes later, and Kristen was able to get the delivery going immediately. Impressed and grateful!

This McCoys is a customer oriented business. The cashiers are just as helpful as the employees working the isles. The yard guys are get me in and out at a satisfactory level and that really counts when trying to get materials to a work site. My experience in this store has help me in building my knowledge base on the industry. Thank you McCoys Building Supply for being in Cleveland Texas.

Went to buy some building supplies, had 1 cashier only ,2 other like me waiting.After about 10 minutes of waiting, the cashier was still with same person, several other employees standing around,I asked if someone else could help us. She looked at me and said no and walked away.I left got back to shop and called to talk to. Manager, was put on hold with out even talkingTo anyone, 13 minutes latter I hung up,went to home depot and bought over $300.00 .I don't know what has happened recently They use to be better than this. I would like to give a BIG thank you to Arlian Kennedy for going out of his way to help me put my order together. There was time when I didn't know what I wanted or needed. Arland had patience and outstanding attitude and put it all together. You can tell he was trained the right way by his Manager Mike Cook. They say 99.99 percent of the time employee's will reflect the attitude of their training and the management team. Arlian you made my shopping experience at McCoy's pleasurable. I can tell you this McCoy has the best pricing. They beat the big box stores in customer appreciation and in-service. thanks, Mike and Arland

I went in to exchange a storm door for a larger size. No problems everyone was very courteous and professional. I had one on one customer service which has been dead in the big box retailer's for years. McCoy's has future Lowe's and Home Depot not so much. Thanks McCoy's, I'll be back

Was in the Cleveland, Tx store with my wife to get some home project stuff.I generally don't pay attention to most people's attitude and just pass it off that maybe they're having a bad day but I truly didn't appreciate the way my wife was treated by one particular employee by the name of Sandra.She was outright rude to my wife and acted as if my wife was beneath her in every way possible. My wife was visibly upset and was almost ready to go to management. I just told her we would go elsewhere and spend our money.Not sure what's happened to the service at this particular place and I will admit that I didn't go there much to begin with, but it IS closer than most others. From now on, we will go to Home Deport or Lowes in Porter or Kingwood.Maybe I should have let my wife go to management so that it could be handled but not sure how long this person has been working there.If it's been longer than a year, it's my opinion that she doesn't need to be anywhere near a customer.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Cleveland, TX location. All of the staff was courteous & very helpful. They went above & beyond to help us. We bought 6x6x12 treated lumber & they went out of their way to cut it for us even though it was a size they normally can't cut. We were beyond grateful for their friendliness & help!

My husband and I have always shopped here because it is local. After I went there today, I won't go back. I went to buy deer corn and I had to load it myself. No one offered help. It is ashamed that they all stood inside the store and watched me!! Being a heart patient, I am not supposed to lift anything over 20 pounds. This is not acceptable at all. I do not give any stars for this review!! It will not post without marking at least one.

The staff in the Cleveland location in amazing! I called looking for a breaker that unfortunately they did not carry. The manager Michael was extremely friendly & assisted me in finding a place that had what I needed.
