Last August, I was faced with the task of roofing a Sun Room with transparent barn panels. I quickly found the task to be beyond my carpentry capabilities. Due to previous good experience with Schulte, I called them. The Representative took special interest in this project and we quickly negotiated terms. I would be responsible for the materials and they would be responsible for the work. They wisely examined my materials and rightly rejected my roof ridge panels as inferior, non-standard, and ill-fitting. They agreed to bring their own more suitable roof ridge. I was found to be short a board, but they used that as an excuse for a lunch break as I fetched one.This was a turning point in my Sun Room Construction. I have since installed the transparent panels of two walls and a sliding door in the front. My Sun Room is now 90% enclosed and it now feels like I am doing Indoor Carpentry when I work. There has been much bad weather since and that the Roof has stood up to it. My suspicion is that if I announced that I was finished, the Crew Foreman would want to be on hand to see it.Service: Roof installation

This is a late review. I contracted this company to repair my roof as it was leaking water into the hood exhaust of the kitchen. A simple job.Unfortunately, It was never repaired correctly. I had to hire another company to do the repair and fix the problem.The upper staff was unresponsive, and did not guarantee their work. They are very aggressive, rude and unprofessional if they find out you are not "native."Now I am being told to delete my review as you can see below the response from the company. This is a clear sign of aggressiveness towards customers.They claimed that they repair the leak. They did not! My review is not misleading, it is factual.

Absolutely the best: From the first phone call to the last nail picked up from our yard, Schulte Roofing exceeded our expectations. As soon as we met Project Manager Jacob P. we knew we found the right company. Jacob was attentive, friendly, exceptionally knowledgeable, and always a phone call away. He helped us choose the perfect copper-colored metal roof manufactured by Texas company Sheffield Metals, and our roof is currently the envy of the neighborhood.The Schulte roofing crew is an amazing group of skilled artisans. Leon and his colleagues arrived early every day and gave our house their full attention from start to finish, including many Saturdays. These gentlemen specialize in Schulte's metal roof projects and ours truly turned out to be a work of art. We added a small roof addition that presented many angles, but Leon seamlessly made the roof look like part of the original house. In addition, Schulte has a carpenter, Lupe, who with his son, constructed the roof addition as well as cut two huge skylights into our living room ceiling. Lupe made those jobs look effortless - that right there deserves praise.The whole time Schulte crew were on our property, they were respectful, professional, punctual, and cleaned up the site daily. Schulte also sent separate field site leads to ensure the project rolled smoothly, and of course Jacob endeared himself to us with his humor and excellent attitude.It is also paramount to note the Schulte was transparent with the costs. We knew exactly what we were paying for and had no surprises. Additionally Schulte has an exceptional guarantee that provides a wonderful peace of mind for many years to come.To sum it up, the Five-Star rating captures Schulte Roofing and their business ethic and commitment to customers. We first hired Schulte to do numerous repairs to our ever leaking roof on the new home we built in Montgomery when our builder would not stand behind his work. The work was done in a professional manner and each time their work stopped our leaking issues. We have now moved to Brenham and we continue to use Schulte for our roof maintenance and repairs here. Our bullet-proof roof was only 2.5 years old when we had major hail damage. We called Schulte and everyone we spoke with was very helpful and answered all questions and concerns we had. They worked with the insurance company - managed all the headaches for us with the process. The work was done promptly, the workers were amazing, fast, the roof looks wonderful and they did an amazing job cleaning up before they left as soon as they finished the roof. I sought 3 bids to replace the roof on our house in S. College Station. The representative (Adam Bechtold) walked me through our options and put together a competitive bid. The job was soon scheduled and, after a rain delay, done in just a few weeks. Overall quality was excellent. They also did a great job of cleaning up after they finished. I had a couple questions after the roof was installed and Adam got back to me right away and addressed the issues. I would highly recommend Schulte Roofing.

Mark Jarrah, with Schulte Roofing, repaired our roof in 2009 and we had our second hail storm in Bryan in April. Mark and the Schulte crew provided a competitive estimate, provided a color match with our paint and trim, and did another first-class repair. I had been a customer of Schulte Roofing in the past and had received great treatment from their inspector, Jacob Pimentel. He was professional, courteous, and gave us an honest and fair assessment of the repairs needed. Recently we had additional damage to our roof and once again I called Schulte Roofing. They promised an inspection the following week and I happily agreed to the date and time offered. As I left for work this morning, I saw the inspector driving to our home and he arrived promptly at the time that was promised. My wife met Jacob once again and was pleased to see him. This time Jacob was obviously ill and let my wife know that he has cancer and has been undergoing chemo treatment. He also mentioned that his company told him they could send another inspector to check our roof. Jacob let her know that we were his customers and wanted to take care of it personally. Folks, I can't imagine what this young man is going through, but to know that he climbed on top of my house, while being as sick as he is because he wished to take care of us, speaks volumes to his character and work ethic. I had to share how much we appreciated him doing that for us. I am sure that Schulte Roofing knows the type of employee they have with Jacob, but I felt that everyone considering a company to help them with their roofing needs should know as well. It is obvious that his company hires quality people and instills a desire to take care of the customers in them. Jacob, we appreciate what you did...you didn't need to, but thank you. We wish you a speedy recovery and sincerely hope that you beat this cancer.

Most frustrating company I've ever dealt with! I could tell the first crew was doing a bad job and called and texted the company twice but nothing was done. Crew would show up when they wanted to, work a few hours and then quit. What I was told would be a 2 day job max turned out to take 5 days. And the last 2 days only one person showed up. I had my insurance company re-inspect it after Schulte approved it, and they said they had never seen a roof in such bad shape after just one month. Fortunately I had not paid for it yet and they did eventually come back out 7 months later and completely replace it again, blaming it on bad GAF shingles. GAF said their lab showed no problem with the shingles and blamed it on faulty installation. I think it was done correctly this time, but had I not had my insurance co. re-inspect it, Schulte was knowingly trying to sweep it under the rug assuming no one would ever know. Schulte Roofing replaced my roof in 2005. I was very happy at their work. So I called them first after hail damage.Mr.Jacob came and inspected the roof on June 6 and told me that he will send the pictures. He took my email. He did not send the pictures. I called their office 3 times on three different weeks after that and spoke to different secretaries.Each one took my email again and promised to remind Mr.Jacob.Today is June 26. Almost 4 weeks gone. I received nothing. I am really surprised to see such bad response from a good company.

I have been associated with Schulte Roofing for 11 years as Facilities Manager for a large Organization located in College Station, TX. During that time I have called on Schulte Roofing for all types of work including 6 complete new roofs.Recently I found a leak at my personal home. I have a metal roof that should never leak? Well they do. I called Schulte Roofing to fix my problem. They responded immediately and even though they did not install the roof, they came and fixed it, and then warrantied the work. Not only did they take care of the roof, including pictures and clear, concise explanations, they also helped explain some of the nuances of homeowners insurance and went out of their way to make sure I received the full amount of the cost to replace the roof. I had a reference from a family member who had heard good things about them, and I'm glad I called. Ask for Derek! He has past experience as a roofer and can explain as much or as little as you need getting a new roof. He is not just a salesman like other companies can be. We are very happy with our new roof and Derek made sure the final project was to his standard and things were cleaned up in the end. Came highly recommended so we signed up. While the roof looks okay the crew destroyed majority of out plants, split multiple boards among other issues. They did make up for the plants and said someone would be out to patch the boards but you would think for $11,000 for a small 2 bedroom home it would have been better... 🤔🙄😐☹

Horror installation. The metal roof they installed Leaked within 3 years. They wouldn't fix it. I WOULD NOT recommend these people. A metal roof should NOT require once a year maintenance.
