Absolute professionals from first call to project completion. It was refreshing to have work completed on time and on budget for once. I’m a stickler for the small things like communication, cleanliness, follow through, etc. This team exceeded my expectations at each turn. The others I’ve worked with in Corpus don’t even come close.In fact, I called Roberto initially to clean up some work done by another contractor in town. What the first contractor left as finished work is embarrassing. Down to Earth came in with a fair quote and excellent work. They are now my go to in Corpus.

Our remodeling experience with Robert and his crew was amazing! From my initial contact for the estimate to the completion of the project, they were very professional and went above and beyond what was expected. Robert patiently addressed all my questions and concerns and the project came out so much better than we had expected. I never had any concern with their craftsmanship or knowledge of what they were doing. Everything from electrical to painting was exceptionally good. I will hire Robert and Down 2 Earth for future projects and highly recommend them!On a side note, Robert has a great singing voice that I would often hear while he was working. Mr. Chapa and his crew showed up bright and early on Tuesday to demo out a wooden deck, add some rebar, and pour some concrete. He gave me options on tile, and communicated well with me throughout the whole process of the backyard remodel. When booking the appointment they came over same day to measure and provide an estimate.The project came out better then I had expected and Mr. Chapa added some nice finishing touches. Down 2 Earth was and has been the only home renovation contractor I have used since moving to Corpus. If you are looking for a professional remodel or new construction, look no further. I interviewed and received multiple bids. I chose Robert and Down2Earth. I’m so glad I did! They are excellent!!! This was no easy task, completely redo the exterior. A three month project and they have worked hard every day. I could not be happier with the finished project. Everyone that has seen the job has been impressed. My neighbors have hired them after seeing their work and work ethic. Robert and his crew are excellent, knowledgeable about everything and their manners are impeccable. When the pool contractor I hired quit showing up, Robert took that project over too and my new pool is gorgeous! I can’t say enough about this company. I will never hire anyone else again. Absolutely wonderful experience! Robert installed a wall entry pet door through our brick wall. I didn’t purchase the extension tunnel (which, we ended up needing) so Robert creatively devised his own device which fit seamlessly and looks as it was designed to be.Professional, neat (cleaned up throughout the process) knowledgeable, and hardworking. My 27 year old home needed a new roof, front door and all of the siding and rotten wood on the second floor replaced. Down 2 Earth took care of it ALL. At the beginning of the project, my husband would come home after work to check on the progress. He thought he'd have to point things out to Robert, such as where some of the wood trim was rotten. Well, my husband quickly realized he was mistaken. Everything that we knew needed to be replaced was found and replaced AND rotten wood we hadn't noticed was found and also replaced, including the need to rebuild the fireplace. We also had wood rot under the eaves. They took out a few bricks, replaced the entire board, painted it, and the masons made the brick repair. We were definitely in good hands. Robert and his crew were meticulous. All of the fine details that we the home owners had overlooked, Robert did not. For example, in the patio, Robert's crew built little boxes around the base of the patio columns to cover the unsightly metal anchors, he replaced the patio ceiling fan and flood lights. He added siding accents inside the patio to match the newly installed exterior siding. Our patio is beautiful! When the AT&T technician came to reinstall our internet and cable service, Robert took it upon himself to paint the wire so that it would blend in to the newly painted siding. Wow! He treated our home as if it were "his" home. I would definitely recommend Robert Chapa and Down2Earth Roofing and a Remodeling to anyone who needs quality home remodeling. I can't believe the craftsmanship, our home looks new, again!
