After getting several quotes from contractors for painting I hired On The Level and could not be more satisfied with the job! Rodney was very thorough when giving his quote and even noticed cracks on a few walls that other contractors had overlooked. He was able to include the repair of the cracks at no extra cost. The crew showed up on time and completed the job in a timely manner and Rodney even scheduled a final walkthrough to make sure I was happy with the work. I am very satisfied and will always recommend On The Level to my family and friends.

I scheduled to have this company to go a property and provide an estimate. Almost a month later I have not received an estimate and when i call i am unbale to speak with anyone until recently. I spoke to nice gentleman and he informed me the person that usually is in the office was out that day, which explains why someone finally did answer. He told me he would get back with me the next day and yet i have heard nothing. This is sad because we deal with a lot of properties in corpus Christie and they would have gained a lot of business.

- haven't sent an estimate-they broke our toilet-came back and messed it up more "trying to fix it"-they haven't gotten back with us and we have called numerous times-they haven't voided the old check for the new check we sentvery disappointingawful companydon't waste your time.

This company should not even be in business anymore. I called them to fix the foundation of my parents home only because my mom, who had Alzheimer's, had called them 3 years previous and I had found the file in her file cabinet. There was a warranty in there. So Rodney came out and gave us the initial estimate which was $20,000!! Nothing was ever mentioned about the warranty.. They had charged my parents $6,000 the last time they were here. But unfortunately we agreed to it. Was supposed to take 2 weeks. By the time it was all over and with all the added procedures they decided we needed we ended up paying $40,000 and it took a month working 7 days a week and it tore my house up. Rodney went on vacation half way thru the job. The inspector didn't even come to my house and actually inspect it. They took pictures and sent it to him and he passed it. This was only 3 years ago. A new and way better company just left my house and they did it in 2 days and their method is permanent. I would never ever recommend On the Level for anything to anyone. Terrible terrible experience.

Here’s an update to Cindy Yturria’s posting as I’m her sister.I have mixed feelings about the company.I want to trust them (Rodney) because my late dad used them 6 yrs ago for our bedrooms. But now I question the work done before and now by Mario and his crew under Rodney’s oversight for my living/dining /main bathroom. We have pier and beam. All in all, the work passed inspection and the Engineer (Medina Consultants) signed off on the work.My concern is the inspector comments didn’t match the work paid for. I understand terminology might be in general but when something specific is mentioned in the inspector report such as 15 joists, I question is that the number tied in the original proposal which doesn’t list a number; however, I paid for 26 additional joists as an add-on proposal which leaves me to wonder what the inspector “inspected” because it was clear after speaking with the Engineer that he wasn’t hired to inspect my bathroom plumbing after our discussion about my shower pan.At first, the workers started out great, but then it appears work performance declined which I wouldn’t have noticed so much until it was time to install my shower pan which was 6 weeks later after late Nov. You ask why six weeks, because that’s the timeframe (4-6 weeks) I was told we needed to wait for tile, tape & float, etc for the house to settle. I also went from tile to plank selections after multiple flooring installation quotes. Hardie-backer was installed in lieu of a 2nd plywood since we were going to reinstall tile. However, after multiple quotes, companies highly recommended LVP (plank floors). Some said because of pier and beam; others said because of the work. I finally asked one company if they were saying I needed to have the foundation company back, but the answer was “No, they met the requirements”. That wasn’t very reassuring since a 70 is still passing. Then I had a reputable tile company pretty much pass on having tile installed in my home since they would be liable to replace breaks within a year. They were highly recommending LVP.So I removed the hardie-backer and will be installing planks (still waiting on floors to arrive). I hired a different contractor to re-do some of the plumbing because the shower pan with a center drain wouldn’t work the way the joist was installed even though I was told I could have a right or center drain. Mario came to the house and said I bought a bigger shower pan so it wouldn’t work. I said the plumbing isn’t lined up with the shower handle (which was missing). Rodney came to the house later and was willing to have them fix it (more like rig it by cutting the joist and adding some brackets to resecure the joist rather than move the joist). Also, the shower pan was not leveled as I had to pull out a leveler myself. In the end, I said his warranty meant nothing and passed on his rework. My other contractor fixed my shower pan “leveled, added new joists, found my shower handle in the ground” and some of the joists in the dining room that slanted. In the end, I regret not getting other quotes because there’s always add-ons once you find out what they won’t do. I asked for best and worst case scenario quotes and ended up paying more from original quote because he didn’t think I needed new joints in our living room. I said I wanted worst case scenario which I never received upfront. My advice is to do your homework/research. I shouldn’t have had to Google pier, beam, joists, subfloor, LVP, how many and what kind of screws go in plywood or hardie-backer as well as distance apart only because I lost trust in the company and saw not all the right number of screws were installed, etc.I ended up calling another Engineer/Inspector. In the end, the work was done which reassured me to move on. Yes, you can do a job many ways to hopefully get the end results.I’m very pleased with the “rework” I had done by another contractor.Beware of those that may take advantage of you! This was and is an expensive lesson to learn the hard way.You be your own judge from the pictures.

The presentation was excellent (quoted you will never have another issue after we are done with the foundation repairs) so I hired them to repair the foundation on my house. The end result was extremely pathetic, poor workmanship no crew, poor to no equipment to do the job right. It went from a couple of cracks to cracks throughout the entire house and ceilings. He cancelled my lifetime warranty before he finished the job because they could not find the clean out line to do a static test. I found it a couple of days later with help of the city. Called them back but never called me back.Extremely Dishonest now I am out thousands of dollars with many other issues. Good luck if you hire them.

So far we are having issues with owner playing the blame game. At this point we will probably have to get an engineer (unbiased) to assess the problem that they were supposed to fix. Actually we are having more problems with their leveling than I had in the 20 years previous. The owner will not return phone calls. When we have had an appointment with him, he changed it at the last minute for his convenience. Still hoping to get this worked out. We have a 5 year warranty on work he did a year ago. At this point I do not recommend them. If the owner will man up and abide by his warranty I will change my tune. Until then, homeowner beware.

Hired On The Level to replace my dated roof. Mr. Sanchez and his crew were extremely professional and kept communications throughout the entire project. Mr. Sanchez’s crew completed my roof within 3 days. I highly recommend On The Level.

On the level Foundation worked on a retaining wall that I thought would be out of the scope of work for a foundation company. However, Rodney and his team took the time to assess the damages, came up with a project plan and repair the wall within an incredible three days. When the job was completed Rodney noticed that the color of the new retaining wall did not match the rest of the condominium. He took it upon himself and match the color and painted the new retaining wall at no extra cost.Great craftsmanship and great customer service!

I will follow up my review with pictures and info, but these people are crooks! DO NOT USE THEM!! As if they didn't already take enough money from my sister an IPad went missing when they were working there and now they won't fix their flawed work.. I will follow up this review, but for now I hope I can help another person from being taken advantage.

Disorganized horrible Company! Our foundation was done in 2009 the owner of our house paid $350 to transfer the warranty to us when we purchased our house. We then were transferred to FL and the buyers of our house wanted the warranty transferred again. When our relator called them to get the info they originally sent us the info on the wrong house. After we cleared that up they tried to tell us we never transferred the warranty into our names even though we have paper work from them saying we did when we bought our house. We even sent them a cancelled check showing we paid for it! I finally called back and asked to speak with the owner and I was told that I was not going to speak to her and I was not allowed to come up there and speak to her. Please do not do business with this company and their incompetent staff. Also I noticed that the only good ratings they have are from their employees! Corie is the office manager!

The worst experience I have ever had with a roofing company. My roof was repaired due to the hurricane. These guys were paid to install a new one. After several months I still don't have a windstorm certificate. Engineer says roofing nails failed inspection. This company still has not corrected the issue and they never call you back. I guess I need to make a trip to their office. To many good roofing companies in this town for anyone to have to put up with these clowns.

On the Level has completed a great assortment of repairs and remodeling projects on my home. I first hired this firm to raise a sinking foundation in 2012. Given that the portion of the foundation that was sinking was under the back patio, the existing tile had to be torn out to access the foundation. The tile was due an update anyway, so the laying of the tile followed immediately after the raising of the foundation. All was completed in 1 week . Within budget and within time. Clean up of the yard of stray dirt and any refuse was completed thoroughly as well.In 2020, there was water damage in the living room. It was in the wall over the fireplace. The problem was poorly installed flashing on the chimney, This was done by another contractor a few years prior. Rodney and his team repaired the flashing. The water damaged drywall and insulation were torn out, exposing the frames. Since this was a gas fireplace, the gas line was also exposed. I asked Rodney if we could use this opportunity to install a new gas line to the attic so I could have a tankless water heater. He created a new estimate quickly and modified the project seamlessly. His team also replaced the outside check valve for the gas line with a sturdier valve. Gas line work requires inspection by city inspectors. The inspector made a comment that the gas lines used in the install were commercial grade and that the connections were well executed. Rodney took the time to go over the descaling procedure for the tankless water heater. By the way the water damaged drywall and insulation were replaced. Again, project completed on time and on budget. I even altered the project mid way, but this was not problematic for Rodney, and I got the result I wanted. In 2021, I had a new front door installed. Rodney was quite helpful in selection of door systems. Just finding a vendor with a system compatible with the existing opening was trickier than I had expected. Picking a door system with the color and look that one likes is but one variable. The door opening had a semi-oval shape. Measurement of the dimensions was thus tricky. Rodney communicated with the vendors to make sure the new door system was compatible. Throughout he kept me in the loop. My house was built in the early 1990s. The currently available door systems were just a bit too small for the existing opening. Looked at several vendors in corpus and san antonio. So some masonry work had to be done to shrink the opening to meet the contours of the door frame. The install turned out very pretty. New interior moulding, staining of the door, painting of the jambs --- all done cleanly and on budget. The most recent project was replacement of the ductwork. The new ducts were of a thicker gauge than the original. Replacement of the ducts required quite a bit of drywall removal for access. Mostly in the ceilings of various rooms. I used this opportunity to also repair some water damage to ceiling drywall from previous pipe leaks. I am very pleased with this repair. It was probably the most extensive to date. All ceilings and vents look like new. As with all other repairs, done on time and on budget.I've probably had more than the average number of maintenance issues with my home. Each problem was an opportunity or heartache. I've relied on On the level to achieve a solution to each problem. The skillsets required have run the gamut: foundation repair, finish carpentry, masonry, plumbing of gas lines, electrical, tile, drywall and painting. Rodney has always kept me in the loop, and he has been responsive to suggestions and concerns during and after every project. So I wholeheartedly recommend Rodney and his firm for any home repair or remodeling needs.

Worst company I have ever done business with. The Condor soil stabilization does NOT work!! We were convinced this was the way to go and after $7000 and 2 years, we have had continual movement on our foundation and On the Level refuses to honor the warranty. We now have to get pilings and fix additional damage that should never have occurred. This company will not take action for their own mistakes. They tell you one thing, then the next day tell you something completely different. They avoid you, won't return phone calls, and can't keep appointments. STAY AWAY FROM ON THE LEVEL!!! Nothing but a bunch of incompetent crooks.

Rodney and On The Level’s crew were very profesional. They showed up to my house with a plan of repair for my foundation on time and ready to work. I was very satisfied with the results. I am confident that my house will have a solid foundation for years to come. Big thanks to Rodney and his On The Level crew!

If I could give zero starts I would. Very frustrated with them. They over charged me from the beginning. Then promised to do the job right been waiting since july, we are now in late October. They also damaged my siding and have not repaired it. I will never do business with then again, will never recommend them.

My very first experience with this company and will be my last. They never showed for my first appointment and when I called the female I spoke with said "if you set an appointment with Rodney I'm sure he'll show." Never confirmed my appointment so I waited. I called again and they somehow got me to Rodney, who kept saying "we do not have after hours appts, my appt @ 5:30, the estimate for slab and roof will take a long time. Ahh, ahh." The female I spoke with did confirm that but still set an appt for 5:30.I finally said "Thank you" and hung up, thinking that was that. The following morning I received a call from the female I'd spoken to before, stating I had the wrong appt date, which I didn't think so , but ok, my mistake. Mind you I left early from work. If I don't work, no money. She asked would I be available that pm. I decided, ok second chance, but asked it's been raining could they still do it. I was assured "oh yeah, no problem." Left early again, not making money, to meet them and around 5:15 or so, saw an orange jeep in front of my house. I went out to try to let them see I was there and even opened my garage so they could see my car.I noticed soon thereafter, a truck with on the level sign slowly drive behind the jeep. At that point, it started raining. I thought, surely a phone call or a ring of the doorbell to advise they couldn't do the estimate, but nothing.I saw both vehicle leave the cul-de-sac, with yet a phone call to explain.VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. AND TO THINK I'LL GIVE THIS GUY A CHANCE BECAUSE THE OTHER COMPANIES SEEM BIGGER.SO MUCH FOR THAT. NEVER AGAIN, AND IF ASKED WILL CONTINUE TO SHARE MY EXERIENCE.
