I highly recommend STMR. Edward and the crew ex ceded my expectations. Several other companies told me that it would be impossible to put a metal roof on my house because of the shape of the roof. I love my new metal roof!!! I was impressed with the speed of installation and the fact that the guys cleaned up after themselves every day - not just when the job was done. The last time we reroofed - the contractor left didn't clean up at all! We had bent nails all over our yard! Much better this go round!! Thanks South Texas Metal Roofing!!!As for Mr. Durbin's review - I got my windstorm certificate without issue!

6/16/21: I had my roof replaced and a change to the roofline in Oct. 2020. It took more time that was necessary, but that can happen, no big deal. I was forced to contact a plumber when a strong sewer odor started several weeks after the job was done. It turned out that the sewer exhaust pipes were venting methane (poison and explosion danger) into my attic instead of being connected to the pipes leading out of the roof. This is completely against building codes and regulations, but it appears they did not know anything about codes. It cost me money to have a plumber determine the cause, although I did get some of my money returned after bringing the issue to Mr. Montemayor's (owner) attention and having to have my plumber vouch for what I said to him. That problem was resolved, so I let it slide without negative feedback. NOW- I have another plumbing related problem. I've been struggling with water backing up in my kitchen sink and thought it was just a clogged line or a tree root in the backyard. I called my plumber to take care of it, only to discover that my sewer drain pipe has debris stuck in it from when the crew was tearing off the old roof. My plumber used high pressure water to try to clear the line. Pieces of plywood came out of the sewer exhaust line, but there is more still jammed in the line. It is now going to cost me more than 2k to have my kitchen sink/sewer exhaust re-piped and routed. Whatever the crew let drop in the pipe is permanently lodged there and blocking the flow of the exiting water. I do NOT recommend.6/17/20 UPDATE: I have modified my star rating as Mr. Montemayor contacted me about my most recent home issue related to my roof replacement. He offered to reimburse the expense I incur to fix the plumbing issue. I was able to get it repaired w/o having to go the 2k route my plumber quoted. Thankfully my handyman was able to access the area of the drain pipe where debris was lodged and cleared the line. I still cannot whole heartedly give a recommendation, due to the issues encountered, but neither will I tell anyone not to choose this company. If you do contract with them, keep a very close eye on the subcontractors doing the work.Service: Roof installation

Buyer Beware, South Texas Metal Roofing will Screw You. He did several jobs for me and all was well until he put a new roof on my house. He didn't provide the Wind Storm Certification, WP8. Now I can't get Insurance nor can I sell my home. He sure Screwed Me, Don't do business with this Company.
