First, let me say that we live 1500 miles away from the job site; the roof that needed repair was on our one and only rental property, which is located in Cypress, TX and we live in California. Right away that leads to the potential for challenges and missteps, so regular, thorough communication is a necessity.The communication was excellent. The help getting everything approved through our HOA was phenomenal. The coordination with my tenant was proactive and complete. The job itself and the follow up were first rate. In particular Garry did a wonderful job of making sure I was up to speed on everything that was going on. In every way, this was a five star job. I recommend this company without reservation.

We had our roof replaced by Southern Roofing in April 2023 Gary was the go to guy also met the owner. They were very professional no pressure and very helpful dealing with the insurance company. I highly recommend the company especially Gary ! The roof was finished when they said it would be, great job!

Called Southern Roofing on a Saturday afternoon. Jackie gave excellent advises upon seeing my roof pictures via MMS. She dispatched the repair person for inspection (free of cost inspection) . He repaired in a span of 2 hours on the next Sunday morning. The pricing was very affordable, everyone we communicated with were very courteous. They even gave us a warranty of 1 year after repair. I highly recommend Southern Roofing! Thank you :)

We are very disappointed in the service we received from Southern Roofing Texas. We chose this company based off the statements from their website and meeting with their project manager. We were told all the right things but their communication and follow through was extremely frustrating. After missing scheduled start times and damage from the roofers the company promised to repair or replace; however, this also was not completed. We were charged up front but they never provided a receipt. They also took back a skylight that was not installed and did not refund us as we were told. After repeatedly being pushed off about trying to get the receipt and refund we filed a BBB complaint. This too has been ignored by the company. The project manager was polite but failed to follow through with requests. It was difficult to communicate with the roofers or get them committed to scheduling. The owner was rude and disrespectful when questioned. We would never recommend this company for any service. Their inability to even communicate with us has forced us to seek legal counsel for the refund and receipt. Do not use this company.Services: Skylight installation, Roof installation

I have used Southern Roofing Texas to perform our roof inspections and repairs over the last 2 years. My wife called yesterday (Sunday) thinking she would be leaving a message about a concern of a leak. Phil (President & CEO) picked up the phone and let her know someone would be out the next day. Zach came out here today to perform the inspection. He completed a detailed review and told us our roof was fine and there was no repair needed. This group will not just charge you to charge you. They have treated us with respect both with our time and money. Phil also came out while Zach was here to check on the house. We also had a few repairs done a couple years ago by Roman. They have held up perfectly through multiple large storms including Hurricane Harvey. Thank you Southern Roofing for great and honest service.

Had Phil and his folks out for an estimate and review. He seemed like a nice enough guy so we went ahead and drew up a contract with a 3 day cancel clause. I had another roofer from earlier call back with a quote that was $1500 lower so I asked Phil to meet the price - he did not. I notified him that I was cancelling my contract per our 3 day clause and go with another roofer. All the nice goes out the window and now says he wants $800 to cancel contract and threatens with legal action. Obviously he did not remember that I work at a law firm.

Horrible experience! The salesperson talked a great pitch, and that's as far as it went. Had Southern roofing add on a back porch while they re-did the roof. The concrete work was absolutely horrible, and then they fired that sub contractor and then we had to wait a few more weeks for them to find someone else! After they completed the work (they had been storing their tools in my shed) they took not only their tools but mine too!!! And to top it all off they left a pile of Hardie for me to clean up. After weeks and weeks I finally got my tools back and the pile of junk cleaned up. They had another guy come out and try fix the concrete, but it still looks like crap! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Find anybody else.

We had Southern come out after the hail storm. They inspected our roof free and worked with our insurance company to get our claim processed quickly. They did a quality job and provided a 50 year transferable warranty and 10 year labor warranty.

They did the work in a timely manner, but 6 months later the roof leaked, causing me to replace the ceiling in one room. I took them to SC Court, was awarded a judgment, which they have never paid. Now I am getting same house reroofed, and I will not be using them, for sure.
