I highly recommend Libertas Roofing based on my recent experience. We are very happy with the look of our new roof and the process of planning it with Bernard was very easy. Costs were competitive with other companies we spoke to.Libertas replaced the roof on our house and an outbuilding. The crew arrived on time both days and cleaned up at the end of each day. Bernard re-roofed for me a small cabin I have in the Blanco hill country. Due to the isolated location and the small size of the project, I had a difficult time finding a reputable roofer to do the job. But Bernard and Libertas came through. Given our experience with Libertas Roofing and Siding I wish more contractors and installers conducted business the way Bernard did with our roof installation. He communicated the cost, the date of installation and how long the installation would take. Bernard was very easy to get along with. He quoted me a competitive price and did not change it as the process continued. He was in communication with me all along.He told me his crew would be here at 7:30am. They were on the roof at 7:30. Bernard was on site all day. His crew was very professional and did excellent work. We are very satisfied with the work and it looks great. They were careful around our flower beds and cleaned up afterwards. It was amazing how quickly they finished. I looked around after they left and was happy to see how well they cleaned up. We were very happy with our experience with Libertas. After some interactions with overly aggressive roofers, working with Bernard was a breath of fresh air. Bernard is super laid back, all the while being incredibly professional and responsive. We never felt pressured to do anything and he gave us time to make our decisions. He answered all our questions and provided us with a detailed estimate. The installation was incredibly smooth (all done in a day!), and the next day, Bernard personally came to the house to replace some previously damaged trim that we had agreed to as part of the estimate. Painless to set up. Bernard was patient, informative, and and easy to work with. We previously had some "hard sales" from other roofing company bids. Bernard was the first bid that we were not rushed to sign a contract. The work was completed within 8 hours. This was done in high summer temperatures. They even repaired a gutter still under warranty which we kept trying to get repaired from the warranteed company. Our roof looks great. We did not have any doubts during the construction. If I could give Bernard and his crew 10 stars, I would. The work I had done was: completely removing all the old siding, trim, fascia, and soffits, replacing it all with Hardie board, removing a deck and the crumbling canopy over it, painting the whole house, replacing the front storm door and rear patio door, tearing off two layers of shingles and re-roofing the house. Basically giving me a new house. They hauled everything away as part of the contract. There were no hidden costs (disclaimer, replacing the doors was not in the original contract, so I did pay extra for that).The crews were timely, professional, and fast without being careless. Bernard was very responsive to every request, answering texts, finding the perfect doors for me, and even installing one himself, as well as doing a few odd repairs. He also dismantled the deck, so he's a hands-on guy, which goes a long way to instill confidence.I've attached before and after photos; the one on the right is before, the one on the left is after. couldn't be happier.I highly recommend Libertas!

Libertas was great to work with! They came in with a fair quote, straightforward pricing and were able to stick to the budget. There was some damage to some things on/near our house (window screens, garden, hanging lights, gutters), which could have been avoided by warning us to protect these things before the project. But we should have been proactive too. Update: After notifying Bernard of these issues, he came straight over, checked the damage and replaced/fixed everything. This was definitely above and beyond! After a thorough drone inspection of our roof and physical inspection of the attic, Bernard was quick to provide a competitive bid with recommendations and answer all my questions before we signed an agreement. Supplies were delivered to the roof as scheduled on a Friday and on Monday as scheduled the crew arrived on time working until late in the evening, cleaning as they went. They returned early the following day to finish the final bundle of shingles and complete the final clean. My minimal concerns during the process were promptly addressed. All in all, removal of the old roof and installation of the new roof was done in less than a day and a half and the process from start to finish was completely smooth. We chose Libertas based on its standing as a GAF certified contractor, a certification eligible for the system plus limited warranty sufficient for our needs, the referral by our real estate agent, solid online reviews, Bernard’s guidance in selecting the shingles, the competitive quote, and Bernard’s detailed written responses to the roofing deficiencies noted in a recent inspection report. The work was completed on time and of evident quality with Bernard finalizing the job by using the noted items in the inspection report as a checklist and then personally correcting or resolving open items.
