I needed to have my 8' x 10' shed roof shingled since the pitch was a little too uncomfortable for me to d.i.y. I called 4 roofing companies, 2 replied asked what I needed, never heard from them again. The other two never responded. Family member referred, called Armando, he replied within a few hours, sent him pics of what I needed, quoted me a price. He came out the next day to look at it, agreed on a reasonable and comparable price. He and his crew came out day after next, finished it up in a day, workmanship looked great and seems to be good quality. Four months later, after the many days of strong winds, and this recent downpour of rain, the shingles have not shown any sign whatsoever of coming free from wind, and no leaks. If this is JKK Construction's routine service, then I highly recommend, and I will call them should I need any work done that is beyond my level of knowledge.Service: Gutter cleaning

I consulted JKK to provide a remedy to the perennial maintenance issue of my rock walls. After consulting other concrete and cement contractors, JKK provided the most reasonable and durable solution. Once I contracted JKK to strengthen and give a new look to our rock walls, I added a French drain, sprinkler system, new sod, a dog run repair, tree planter cement tops, and a raised brick flower bed with LED lighting. I found him and his crew to be reliable, punctual, knowledgeable, and detailed in their work. He responds well and in a timely manner for fixes and touchups. If you're more interested in saving a few dollars than quality and satisfaction, look elsewhere. We are very pleased with him and his crew and their professionalism. Outstanding service from Armando and his team!I had originally tried to get contract work from Home Depot to install some kitchen cabinets. Took a lot of time to get an estimate on the work, which they charge for, and when I finally did I wasn't able to set an appointment with the contractor to start working on the kitchen. Took over 3 weeks of trying to contact them to get started but no luck.I looked around google to find someone and I found JKK Construction. I quickly got a response from Armando through call and text, much better experience this time around. Made me feel like a priority, I got an estimate the next day, and they started working right away. The work done was excellent and they went above and beyond my expectations. Got more work done for a better price than Home Depot. Armando and his entire team provided quality and professional remodeling of my entire house.I called JKK after the 4th contractor cancelled at the last minute, I was lucky to find them.Team JKK remodeled my kitchen, installed new tile and cabinets (btw Armando actually convinced me on a different layout than I originally wanted and I am so glad he did), removed a drop ceiling, installed lighting fixtures and painted all the walls in the house.The rest of the house had tile installed and all walls and trim painted.When a leak happened in the upstairs shower, I had Armando and his Team replace the shower as well as the tile in the downstairs bathtub.All of this work was done to a very high standard, and I have absolutely no complaints.I would highly recommend JKK to anyone, and have done so already. I called Mr. Hernandez on 6/26/2021 and he came within a few days. I asked him for two estimates, one for inspector report repairs and another for a room/bathroom addition. He said that sounds good but never took measurements or asked me really what I wanted for an addition. I advised him I needed the estimate A.S.A.P. On 7/26/2021 after not hearing from him in a month, I called him and got his voicemail, I text him and he finally got back to me, he said he did not have my estimate but would have it by end of the week, needless to say it's a month and a half later and still nothing, He is not very dependable, reliable or responsible. He just had to keep me updated, and he couldn't even do that, very disappointed with Mr. Hernandez I will not use him or refer him to anyone.

Just finished putting my books into the renovated office/library JKK construction built for me. I had a lot of bookcase shelving in the previous house I had but none in my present one. I wanted to create an office/library for my books as well as a sanctuary to hide and read, away from TV and phones. Mando Hernandez, owner, gave me a cost estimate and after contract was signed set about scheduling the workers and work to be done. After some initial input from me about colors, wood selections, etc., he coordinated everything that needed to be done on a daily basis. He kept me in the loop about schedule changes impacted by the pandemic, family emergency of one of his workers, and other little changes. He did this on a daily basis, hourly on some occasions. Communication was excellent during the extent of work. His workers came in with masks every day, did their work with minimum impact on the rest of the house operations. They taped off the work area with plastic to minimize dust getting into the rest of the house. The demolition went well as did the drywall installation and painting. Finally, the bookcases went in. Suddenly the room started to acquire the character I was hoping for. However, it was the small details that have really made the room. The molding I had them install and the attention to detail like caulking and extended electric plugs that made the seams and transitions disappear really make the room look and feel like the plan I had in mind.I am very happy with the workmanship and value I got from JKK construction and Mando.
