Jm Construction did an excellent job revamping our backyard. They completed our project in two weeks, minus the two-day rain delay. Martin kept us up to date on the project, and if we ever had any questions, Martin was quick to respond. He provided a professional billing statement showing the breakdown. They gave us great customer service and made themselves available for any questions or concerns. In addition, they did some "extras" to make everything just right, including replacing several of the fascia boards on the garage that were rotten and installing a new roof vent. We hired JM Roofing/Construction in July 2022, to paint the exterior of our home which is part stucco/ part brick. We also have wood moldings throughout. They replaced all of the rotted wood and painted the entire exterior. They also replaced the facing on our balcony and replaced, as well as reinforced the supporting posts. Finally, they added a decorative stacked stone finish which left our balcony looking beautiful. We also had them perform maintenance on our roof, which I regret not having them done our roof installment in the first place. The workers arrived on time each day and were very cordial, professional and neat. They cleaned up after themselves each day using a large trash bin (trailer) for dumping. They even offered to dump some of our own trash that we had accumulated over time. We were highly satisfied with the work that was done and the price we paid! We plan to call JM Roofing/Construction for future work.Services: Tile work installation, Roof inspection, Exterior painting, Roof damage repair

I called this company to do some repairs on my roof and inside my house. The first day, they showed up on time and were courteous and thorough. The second day, not so much. The team was almost an hour late and rushed to finish the inside. They painted and I asked if it was the right color. The guy said yes but it was wet so that it looked different. Later that day, I texted Isaac that they used the wrong finish and he said that they’d be back out Thursday or Friday. That they were in a hurry because they had to go take a class. I was like okay, no problem and paid my bill in full. The next morning, I texted Isaac and asked if they were going to come today or tomorrow. He said that they would be at my home at 4pm to redo their mistake. Well, fifteen after I tried to get a hold of Isaac and find out if they were coming. Didn’t hear back so I called the office. The young lady said that he was in a meeting and she called to find out where the team was. They told her that they were running late at a job and would be at my home at 5pm. No show no call, so I call again and they tried to say another hour. By this time I am highly agitated and say that they need to get here asap to fix their error because my husband is at the ER and I am waiting on them. She says that the manager Martin would call me back in fifteen minutes. Thirty minutes, no call. I call back and she said that she’s going to call Martin and call me back in five minutes. Tried several times to call her back—no answer. Call Isaac—no answer. This is not how you do business!! Especially when it was your employees fault to use the wrong paint and then not be willing to fix. Very disrespectful and unprofessional! Was going to have them fix my rock wall at the end of September, but not anymore. A company’s word and integrity are everything to me and should be to your customers. STAY AWAY AND GET SOMEONE ELSE to do your projects.**Update: the guys came back this morning with excuses why they didn’t call or come yesterday. Came inside and just painted over the wrong paint. When asked if they scraped off the wrong paint before putting the correct one, the younger guy said yes. Sorry, but it takes longer than 30 minutes to do it the right way, and then the paint was 3 shades lighter. Then when I told Isaac that they didn’t scrape it just painted over it, he said that they didn’t have to because it was just the wrong finish but when it dries it will match and then stated that if it cracks, it’ll be under warranty. It’s one thing when the job is done incorrectly, but another to be flat out lied to in my face and then get a different reason from someone else about not doing something. I have had a leak in the past and the same thing happened, BUT they actually scraped off the wrong finished paint, retexturized the area, waited for it to dry, and THEN used the correct paint. I will never call this company for anything else. If I could have remembered the previous people who fixed it before, I would have called them to repair my leaks this time around. One more thing, they didn’t even bother to clean up after themselves or leave me my paint that I loaned them to use to match.
