Our water heater burst, and Lariat was there within an hour of notification. Lariat immediately moved our furniture out of harms way. They very quickly removed baseboards and carpeting, and started the fans. From that point forward, they worked very closely with us and our insurance company. I contacted Lariat for an urgent estimate for mitigation of smoke odor in a property I’m buying. I spoke with Carlo and explained that I was on a tight timeline for needing the estimate to provide to my bank for financing and was clear that I needed it within a week. After 8 weeks of chasing, I’m still waiting. If you’re too busy to have me a customer, fine, but do me the courtesy of telling me that so I don’t waste my time chasing you down and can move on to someone else to do the job (or at least get me an estimate). Lariat was great with everything. They made the unfortunate process of a house fire easy and did everything right. They were upfront about the process and time needed and kept me updated throughout the entire restoration. Francisco was great and worked with me even though I had changed and I’m sure drove him crazy. Carlo was flexible when changes needed to made and Issac was understanding when problems arose after I moved back in. Vanessa at the office was outstanding and was always there when I had a question or needed things that they were cleaning while my house was being fixed. I called Lariat in the middle of the night as a water pipe had broken in a wall and was flooding my home. They arrived a couple of hours later as they had to drive to Alamogordo from El Paso. They stayed until they had all the water removed and set up drying fans. They came back the next day and placed more fans. They were very professional and informative about what they were doing. Lariat Restoration saved this mom from a tremendous amount of stress! I work from home with a toddler and finding out we had a leak that saturated our bedroom was a shock. I called Lariat and within hours they had not just a team out to assess the damage but also a plumber out to fix the leak. Within a matter of days they removed (and found) mold, dried the entire affected area and brought in their construction side of the business to start repairing damage. We were SO impressed but how respectful of our time and home they were. They made an inherently stressful situation carefree because they literally handled every detail. I called to get an assessment and they charge $150. I was told someone would come at noon and no one showed up. I called back and was told they had a job that took longer than expected but they would come out afterwards. They never showed up. I called again and the number went to voicemail with a mailbox that was full so I couldn’t even leave a message. Use another company that will hopefully show up!
