We contracted Legacy to remove old patio roof and rebuild a new one. Not a huge project, but important to us. The work crew was "top shelf". I contracted with Legacy Construction to do a complete roof replacement. I ordered special shingles which due to the pandemic took several months for the manufacturers to make. Betty kept me apprised as to the status on a regular basis. Once the shingles arrived they quickly set a date for my install. The workers were very thorough and answered all my questions. They had my roof completely installed in just 2 days. They also repaired and sealed my gutters and checked them for leaks and replaced my skylight. They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again or to refer them. Called Legacy Construction after I had some pipes bust in my house. Matt And his team came out and did a quick repair the same day. Over the course of a couple months they remodeled my master bath and retiled my entire house. The job was done very professionally and the workers where extremely nice and well mannered. It looks amazing and the price was great (best out of five bids). I love my house now! Thank you Legacy Construction!

Complete roof replacement due to hail and wind, plus other work.To follow is my experience with and opinion of Legacy Construction in El Paso, Texas.I contacted Legacy Construction because of their Better Business Bureau rating. Matt arrived to review the damage as promised, and on time. These days, I find this to be rare, especially in this area.I found Matt to be very knowledgeable, as he quickly deciphered the multiple-page technical specifications and drawings supplied by the insurance company while we sat in my living room. He then patiently worked with my insurance and me, even while I was traveling.When all parties were in agreement over the work and costs, Matt recommend a color for the shingles that I wouldn't have otherwise considered. He also recommended an approach to reduce heat transfer on a flat portion of the roof. In retrospect, I'm glad I listened on both counts - I've never been happier with the color, and the flat-roof portion of the house, the master bedroom, is cooler inside than it was before.Matt seems to, at least to me, enjoy a favorable status with Owens Corning. The shingles were delivered quickly. I was worried about this due to the continued supply chain challenges associated with COVID-19. However, the shingles arrived as promised. In the research I conducted after seeing their Better Business Bureau rating, I had noticed that Legacy Construction was one of only two Platinum Preferred Contractors on the Owens Corning website for my area, though not being in the business, I'm not exactly sure what this means. Still, I figured it was probably a good thing.The roof replacement was done in two (2) days, total. We have a 2-story house with a multiple-peak, high-pitched roof, but they brought a large crew. I'm glad they finished in two days because it rained heavily the night they finished - no leaks. I had concerns because I have seen roofers work on my neighbors' roofs for much longer than two days.As a last minute request, I asked if two skylights could be installed in the kitchen. Matt and the ladies in the office were very accommodating. The skylights were purchased quickly by one of the ladies in the office, and Miguel, who handled the roof work, did a great job installing them.The other work included repairing the water damaged sheetrock and ceiling inside, texturing and painting, replacing the hail damaged 2-car garage door, installing a new light fixture, and reinstalling and aligning the aerial on the roof. Not paid by the insurance but nevertheless done because it needed to be done were the installation of a storm door and the sealing and bracing of an outdoor staircase. All this, with the exception of the garage door, was done on time and done well by Enrique and his crew. Thomas, the on-site project manager, kept things on schedule by visiting the site everyday, often twice a day. He also served as a good point of contact for my questions, and he interacted with the City inspector.All three ladies in the office were amazing - professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were there for me from beginning to now. They even helped me by finding and providing final documents to the insurance, so the insurance could release my final payment.My final warranty documents were given to me at the same time I paid my last invoice, which is what I would expect.Based on my experience with them, I have only good things to say about Legacy Construction.
