I used to love this company. The crews out doing the work are still great, but now nobody will answer the phone in the office. The payment I sent a month ago still hasn't been deposited, my account shows as past due on the web site, and my messages and calls continue to go unanswered. Looks to me like becoming part of Waste Connections was the beginning of the end for this company. I'm ready to just start burning my garbage.

They are absolutely the worst! They took over from Waste Connections, and the service has be horrible since. They have skipped our pickup 3 times, and when I call about it, they are rude, and unhelpful!No compensation for paying for service that I did not get!They do not care!I got my new bill today, and I have been waiting for it, because I pay three months at a time, and have been waiting to cancel!I called, and as usual, no one answers, and you have to leave a message.So, I have left two messages to cancel my service immediately!!I better hear back from them!I started my new service with Blackjack effective immediately!We were the last ones left on our road, and it would have been changed already, if I had not just paid for three months!!Stay away!!

1st off the gentleman who collect the trash are awesome. Friendly and always respectful. They are the only reason for 3 stars. The billing department is terrible since the new owners took over. My bill is never the same amount and it takes WEEKS to clear my account.

Can't even start new service with them. Never answer the phone, I've called at least 15 times. I've sent it in online service requests twice and nothing back.I recommend Titan, they answered on the first ring.

So sorry have I have to give them 1 star, but you have to leave at least one star to post a review. I wish I could give them a negative star rating they are the most ignorant people they miss picking up garbage all the time and when you call they won't answer the phone this is bad business but I guess that's how ignorant they are and the way they treat what they say are valued customers, they only do this because they are ignorant, and in some areas they are the only trash service there is. And that is how they treat there valued customers is like TRASH. But they are the TRASH

I forgot to set my can out on the street and I accidentally left it under the carport. The gentleman came and got it and brought it all the way back. Once I realized what he had done, I jumped in the car and chased them down with 2 pairs of winter gloves to tell him I was sorry for forgetting and thanked him for going above and beyond. Best trash service ever!

Scammers, have had to start a fraud claim with my bank who say that due to the amount of complaints and disputes they have decided to take legal action aganst them. If you want your money taken but not your trash then this is the company for you.

Since Waste Management bought Gaston service is not good. You cannot talk to anyone on the phone (local or at East Texas Waste Management). Bad weather see you next week not next day. I guess they count on being a monopoly not customer satisfaction.

Recently bought out by new owners and customer service has completely gone downhill. They do not answer the phone or return messages. Their email doesn't work and bounces back. They do not reply to their comment option on the website. Literally impossible to get a hold of them with any of the options they give, but seem to want their money every month or can find you to see when it hasn't been paid. Horrible way to run a business!

Absolutely ridiculous customer service! The communication level is nonexistent. Our trash was skipped because we were moved to Wednesday “temporarily” a few weeks ago. Yet they put us back on our regular Monday’s route without telling us, so we’ve been skipped for the week. I called yesterday and was told trash would get picked up today, but it didn’t. Go figure.

I moved to the area & needed a trash. I'm sorry I went with them. I've been with them for about a month & they have missed 3 out of 4 pick ups. They have been very unprofessional & if this is how they handle business I won't be surprised if they go out of business soon. Would not recommend. Our trash was picked up like normal when we first started. Then, they didn't come for the next two weeks and were unreachable by the phone. My husband had to drive to their office to get any help, and they said the trash cans weren't out, even though they were out at the same place where they had originally been picked up.Service: Trash removal & disposal

One star is over rated for this service. Always on going of not picking up trash. The office staff is rude. They will tell you they notify by call blast which doesn't call and not on their website either. I highly recommend not to use this service!

You will experience terrible service. They are rude and unprofessional. You are paying for a service and you should expect better service. They missed my pickup and when I called about it they were sooooo rude... the lady told me.... what are you going to do, come through the phone. I HAVE NEVER IN MY LIFE EXPERIENCED SUCH TERRIBLE SERVICE. and when I asked to talk to a supervisor she would not give me a name or number or voice mail. She said she'd have them call. We all know that won't happen. They even asked me to go outside and empty my trash into another can so they could pick it up.... they switched our cans and have been picking up my neighbors trash who has a suspended account. Burn your trash! Much better than supporting a company that feels "what other choice do you have".... I asked if we would be getting a credit and she said nope... we r still picking up ur trash.. someday (her words exactly)..... adter I had to go buy a can to hold they trash they missed the week before. Just terrible service terrible customer service and seems like ehhh so what.... im sorry but any bill I have to pay for service... I expect serviceService: Trash removal & disposal

For the past 1 1/2 I have been a loyal customer. I lost my husband 2 months ago. Since then it has been maybe once a month I remember to put out my trash. So I’m paying for nothing. I lost my house so I called them to talk about my trash to ask them if they could help me out in any way. They just said they don’t do that. No help in any way. You would think a small town community trash service would help out customer in need. It was not like it was a bunch of trash. Literally 6 bags. I even offered to pay extra. No! No! No! If I was still a customer that is with them I would tell them what they told this widow when reaching out for a little help. No! No!

Never had a problem until they changed over to their new computer system always had autopay have updated my information into their new system can’t get it through to them my payment has been made on may 15 and still waiting on them to make my account current and pick up my trash just has very poor quality customer service! and don’t seem to value their customers!!!Service: House & garage cleanouts

We had service with Gaston for about 5 years. Excellent service the whole time. They picked up every week, even if it was a holiday or bad weather. Very nice people to talk to. I highly recommend them.
