If they ain't got it, you don't need it. Guns, ammo tools. Even a little gift area for the woman. Big orange and big blue Don't have anything on this place. Plus they have employees with a brain and are actually willing to help you

Update 03 2024. This is my first choice now. Good repairs without delay or gouging, and helpful new sales on saws.My favorite small saw is back to work and I'm glad. I haven't even checked out the whole store. I just buy mowing and gas engine stuff so far but I'll check it out.The website is functional and advertisements and online prices were consistent. Good deal.The gas motor equipment has it's own checkout system at the desk by the echo weeder rack. That will save you some time. Ask that clerk your gas trimmer questions and he'll fill and start up your weeder as you are checking out.

One of the best places to go for your hardware needs. We have purchased tillers, lawnmowers, lumber, and much more. I think the best part is the plumbing section. We have been able to find more items for plumbing emergencies at Hooten's that the Big Box retailers didn't even carry! Oh, and it's so easy to get a pole and meter for new construction! Go here first, you won't regret it!

They have almost everything you need without having to drive a long way to get it. I prefer to support local unless I am after big quantities such as lumber. Great customer service always.

Excellent customer service! They went the extra mile in helping me find a replacement for an old obsolete weedeater carburetor.I've also found Hooten's prices to be lower in comparison to Home Depot and Lowes.

Love having the convenience locally. A little pricey on some things. Usually has what your looking for. Nice clean store. Plenty of helpful employees. Something for everyone, good gift selection for that last minute gift. Enjoy browsing just to see all they do have. Some stuff for Rv ers. Bought plants and priced as HD or Lowes. My husband is a frequent shopper.

Let me start by saying I was very impressed by their inventory and I met the owner Lance who was extremely nice and helpful. I talked for a few minutes and explained what I was trying to build. He told me to talk to his fab shop manager and they could help me fab up some equipment I was needing help with. A few days later I come in to pick up my material that I ordered and talk to fabrication manager about project. Before I got 2 words out he told me he wasn’t interested and would pass due to libality reasons which I completely understand. What fusterated me was how he didn’t even give me a chance to explain what I needed built or explain anything about it. They have a very capable welding/Fabrication shop but they are very quick to turn down work. I’d definitely look elsewhere if your needing welding or fabrication work done.

Sent a FFL transfer item to Hooten's from an online vendor. Usually use a local pawn shop but this vendor already had Hooten's license and I didn't have to fiddle with getting the pawn shops FFL info over and processed for my order. When I went to pickup the item I arrived 12 minutes before closing, not releasing they closed at 5. Was told that I would have to come back another day. Came back the next day filled out the paperwork and then had to pay $40 for the transfer (the going rate is $25-30 in the area.) So needless to say will not be using Hooten's for future FFL transfers and will go back to the local pawn shop. Also my total time in the store less about 10 mintues with me having to wait on a few customers ahead of me, totally could have been in and out in less than 12 minutes the day before. Won't stop using Hooten's for other things just due to one bad experience with years of good customer service. But wanted to let anyone know that is considering using them as their FFL they are a little higher than most dealers in the area.

Hootens is awesome! The people are friendly and helpful! Clean bathrooms. Lots of RV items, neat unusal kitchen stuff. Selection amazing... ALMOST... if they don't have it, you don't need it. Pricing is a little higher than I think it should be.We also went to the Nursery... LOTS of beautiful, well kept plants. Good selection of Garden accessories and landscaping items. Could spend the whole day in those 2 places.Bonus: there's a little restaurant right next to the nursery.. called "Y'all Come Back". Get there in the morning if you like biscuits... they are PERFECT!

Everyone has an upbeat attitude. Was very helpful and answered all questions I had. They even fully listened to the ideas I had running in my head and was able to not only see their own point of view but mine as well, it's was joyous. Not many hardware stores give women a moment to actually get their own thoughts out before cutting them off to tell women how to do the job they are trying to do. They show equality and it is a very nice change for me.

Today's visit to hootens was an unhurried prowl through the store. Needed to get a few little things, which was simple enough with the help of friendly staff. Then it was time to look through all the nifty things in the gift area and lawn and garden shop. Super cute and unique items made their gift area one I'll keep in mind when it's time to shop for that hard to buy for person. On the usual hardware items the prices are a bit more than one would find in a big box store, but the convenience of a 10 minute drive makes up for it.

This place is like a candy store for hardware and tool enthusiasts. They have a huge assortment of tools, even hard to find types. They also have all sorts of steel and other building and work components that you would normally have to go to a specialty location to source. All of this is under one roof. Where else can you find 1" mild steel bar stock, a complete 4000 pound trailer axle and a nice shotgun all under one roof? I haven't been able to walk out of the store with only what I went in for...

This is my favorite store ever! If you have not been you Must go!!! They have pretty much everything, from building supplies, wood, pipe (steel), lumber, plumbing, lawn/garden, paint/stain, hardware, tools, anything needed for farm related repair, guns, ammo, knives and did I say gifts galore! I could spend hours at this place :) we even do most of our Christmas shopping here.

The lawnmower shop guys are really good at what they do and can just about fix or repair any gas powered engine that I've sent to them. Also store management must really be an awesome dude cause the store carries everything you need for gardening, painting, carpenter accessories, and good deals on just about everything. Plus I have a front row parking space cause I'm in a wheelchair and they have scooters to use to ride around to shop. I never leave empty handed when I leave that store. Awesome place for any man or woman to shop. Its the stuff you need out here in the country.

This is no normal Country Hardware Store it is HUGE, has friendly knowledgeable people that know every part of the store. There are Specialists everywhere in each department. Clean, organized, and fairly priced. It puts a shame to Home Depot and Lowe's which aren't too shabby!
