We found Journey Home Remodeling by reading reviews on Google, so I hope this to be helpful to others in need of a contractor. Josh came out to work on a new tub surround that we were in need of because the original tile in our shower unfortunately caved in. So to say the least, we were not expecting on having to pay for a new shower! He was very understanding of this matter and quoted us a very reasonable price. He was very thorough and explained to us everything that would be needed to fix our bathroom. He has great craftsmanship and our bathroom came out beautiful! He went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with the final product! We will definitely be using Journey Home Remodeling for all of our home’s needs in the future! Give him a call…you will not be disappointed!

Josh worked extremely hard in our dream bathroom project. We had a vision, but the end result surpassed what had expected. Josh and his team did an excellent job installing backsplash tile and a venting hood in my kitchen. They finished on time and were very neat in taking care of the existing surfaces. He even mounted my dishwasher and sealed around my sink.

They installed the television too far above the fireplace and did not follow instructions. The original TV installation cost $850. When asked to fix the mistake he charged $200 and did not fix the original holes from his mistake.

I hired Josh/Journey Home Remodeling to build out an empty attic space over our garage into an additional bedroom that we would use as a nursery. It was a completely rough space that he turned fully functional with electric, HVAC etc. He built in true character to the room with leaving neat ceiling angles and even incorporated built in shelving and a built in desk. The project turned out better than I could have hoped! Josh worked with me to incorporate my vision into the restraints of what we could and couldn’t do with the space and truly cared about each detail I wanted. He built the entire room by himself which to me showed an impressive work ethic! He took very special care to protect my house from damage during the process. I chose Journey Home Remodeling for kitchen and bathroom remodeling and it was the best decision I made. For any man AND woman undertaking a home remodeling project, consider Josh for the job. Actually, save yourself some time, stop looking and hire him. You will not regret it. I am writing this post a bit late, which allows me to say that months after completion of the project, I have had no major issues and the works looks amazing. I called Josh post completion for one minor item and he responded immediately. There are a lot of qualities that set Josh apart but for brevity, I will sum it up as follows: If value is defined as the measure of delivering QUALITY against the COST of delivering that quality, then Journey Home Remodeling should be your next and last call for your home remodeling project.

We just finished our last bathroom remodel and had the remaining ceilings scraped in our home by Journey Home Remodeling. This is the 4th time we've used Josh for our projects which also included another bathroom remodel earlier this year, a pergola over our pool and a window framing job. We met Josh through our neighbor who had some work done both inside and outside. We were in need of pergola over our 13 x 18 deck, and not only did he deliver beyond our expectations, Josh was reasonably priced, efficient and had the structure up in 2.5 days. We've had Journey Home do a couple of projects at our house. The prices were good. The craftsmanship was excellent. But most importantly, as you can see from many of the posts here, Journey Home is trustworthy and honest. As with mechanics, I am always uncertain with home improvement people if I'm being taken advantage of. I never had that question with this company. If you appreciate honesty and trustworthiness (doing what has been agreed to) then this is the right company for your job.

The team from Journey Home Remodeling was awesome. Josh communicated everything we needed to know through the whole process. They fixed a botched DIY the previous homeowners did and made the room look like new. Plus they replaced the old sliding door with a beautiful new set of French doors.They were punctual, cleaned up, and delivered within their stated timeframe. They do great work! We moved into a house with a load bearing wall missing. Our living room ceiling was visibly sagging. Journey Home Remodeling installed a support beam that now supports the ceiling safely. Very satisfied with the results of their work.

Journey Home has done several jobs in our older home in the last two years. From adding multiple outlets in 3 bedrooms, dining room, two porches and garage; to a kitchen backsplash, light fixtures, ceiling fan, and stainless steel outflow vent hood installation. His customer skills, positive attitude, and passion for quality workmanship (noted when he re-did a floor when his workers did not install it to his standards) - brings assurance the job is done right. We have scheduled him to completely redo our kitchen/dining and living room area in our Dallas home for Fall, 2018.
