Truck broke down and we limped it in late at night to this hotel. Definitely not our 1st pick, but thankful for a warm room. This hotel is falling apart. Room door handle broken inside, falling off. Deadbolt did work, but to be sure we turned desk upside down and braced it up on door handle. 😬 Woke next morning and saw what appeared to be blood stains all over side of box spring on son's bed! 😡 See pic of bathroom... will give ya an idea of what to expect...

I guess nobody would book here. We ended up here because it was dark and we needed to fill gas.Zero service. I asked if I could get a cup of hot water for tea, and was told to use hot water from sink in the room. That is fine. The towels are so bad, old, coarse, the color white had turned to light brown. We decided not to show.By the time for bed, we found the sheets were not changed. There are a few hair. It was disgusting. But we don't want to look for a place that late at night. I asked the front desk for clean sheets. She had nothing to say.but she didn't apologize.

Just no. Keep driving. I'm not sure if we stayed in the worst room they had. But driving from Cali to Texas and being extremely tired. This room did the bare minimum. The bathroom had rust over all water fixtures. And the bed was very hard and felt unstable. I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom, there was so many bug crawling around. I never went back to sleep. Felt like a hotel you see in a sex trafficking movie or something.

We were traveling through Fort Hanvock bicycling across country, so we had limited choices each day for where to stay. We had low expectations for this motel and we were not disappointed. This place is as awful as advertised. The staff is friendly enough at this motel but the rooms are dirty, musty, and the furniture below what you would expect in a junk pile. This place is overpriced for what you get. I assume they take advantage of bicyclists as they know this is part of the southern tier route and options are very limited. Someone should open a bed and breakfast in this town. Something to get competition for these people to make some updates to their rooms. If you have options, use them. This is not a good place to stay.

Nice service, free WiFi in an area with spotty phone reception. Furniture was worn but seemed clean. Great place to stop on the way through. There was some funky noise from the freeway when we pulled up, but we were given a room in the back and couldn't hear the sound at all back there. Don't be worried of you don't see any cars out front. They seem to give out the back rooms first, probably because of the noise. Nice restaurant across the street for breakfast, too!

One of the worst places I ever stayed in (September 2015). Specifically, first room had bugs between the sheets and the covers. The second room had mold all over the bath room walls and tub. Wallpaper was peeling off the bathroom walls, paint on the ceiling was peeling off. Carpet was old and dirty. Both rooms were on the backside of the motel. Do not recommend. I'd give it zero stars if i could.

This place is a dump smells horrible nothing looks clean the furniture and the carpet looks like from the 1,500 it's Hot and the AC don't work!!! The bathtub has a big window with no curtains you can see clear outside and in and it reminds me of the Bates Motel creepy I lasted 5 minutes when I ask for my money back and he took $5 for cleaning!!!!!REALLY!!!! when that dumped looks like it hasn't been cleaned in ages not GOOD my ADVICE KEEP GOING!!!! You are better of staying in some places else like La Quinta inn⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Microwave and fridge didnt work. Dirty panties were left in the room by a previous guest. Toilet seat wont stay up. Very divey. Slept great though. Heater was clean which is rare. Still $50 is too high. Friendly staff but I got the feeling she already knew it had problems when I showed up to the lobby to microwave leftovers.

Read some alarming reviews, but our stay was fine. Manager helpful & courteous. Decor a bit tired, but everything worked and clean. Prices a bit negotiable, and he still upgraded us to a bigger room with room for our bikes.

We did an overnight stay while passing through. The staff was professional and check-in was quick. Rooms were ok, and the hotel is pet friendly. Within a very short walking distance is a convenience store, a gas station (with a usual food/drink selection for when the convenience store is closed), and a small diner. Not sure on the hours for all three but it seems to close fairly late.We happened to stay just at the edge of a wireless access point so the Internet connection was spotty but the selection of TV channels was very good. If the Internet is a big deal for you make sure to ask for a room with a good connection.

Do not stop here at any rate. See the matress photos I've attached. There's no reason to pay money for accommodations in this state of disrepair. Completely unsatisfactory. Shower didn't drain at all. Musty smell. I actually slept in the car after standing in the non draining shower, then seeing the matress was the deal breaker. They keep flagging the matress photos, I'll continue to upload. The only good thing about this place is the Mexican restaurant across the street.

It was clean, cute and affordable. It was 45 a night when I was there and the best motel in that price range that I was in during this trip. People were friendly and the shell across the street made my morning coffee really easy. The staff was friendly I would diffidently recommend

Worst place I've seen in a long time. Reminds me of pictures you've seen of some of the places from the Dust Bowl Days. Looks like they wanted to put me in the same room (# 10) others were assigned. Ripped and torn carpeting. Ripped and torn chair upholstery. There was a slight off-smell to the room. The A/C only worked a little in the middle of a Texas July and last but not least, one of the panes in the window had been broken out and had been replaced with are you ready?.........cardboard.

This motel is absolutely amazing. Everything in the room is so beautiful and cozy. The staff here is super friendly and helpful. And don't forget to take a walk around the fort and enjoy the scenery.

The room was so dirty, and I got rid off the idea to take a shower there. My whole night was ruined by bed bugs and my driving along I-10 was terrible due to lack of enough sleeping. This is the worst place I lived so far. whenever possible, please settle down in a motel/hotel around EI Paso area, don't be fooled by the Motel Ad post which leads you to this damn motel.

I'd skip this one next time. Front desk help was very courteous and rooms priced accordingly. No reason to have a matress in this condition. They continue to take down pictures I took of my disgusting mattress. I'll continue to up load them.

If i could give this place 0 stars i would. if you've never stayed at a motel before. keep it that way. You aren't missing anything. Unless that thing is sleeping in a semi-moist bed full of bed bugs and fleas or maybe a case of hepatitus. If you do want to murder someone, cheat on your wife or hide from the cops....still, find another place.

The shower was gross and shower head wouldnt work. I dont think someone actually cleans this place. You would think the only hotel in the area, that they'd try their best to keep it clean, for travelers. I'd stay in El Paso or drive further to Ft Stockton.

A critical overnightery for any & all bicyclists, regardless of cross-country or local (My home is about 50miles/80kms West in El PasoTX), because it provides the all-important rest-stop/location essential to being able to continue the next day. This super important stop is run by owner/operators Ghita & Smiley. In addition to air conditioned (or heated) rooms that provide protection from the elements, cable/color/remote TVs are in each as well as free WiFi/internet access. The ice machine is well-controlled by Ghita or Smiley; you must bring the bucket from your room to the lobby, where they will fill it upon request.And since you are in the lobby, pickup one of the “International Ft. Hancock - Las Cruces I-10 Bicycle Bypass” maps, which gives very specific directions about pedaling our “Hidden Gem of the World, Crossroads of North America, anchored by El Paso, Cd. Juarez & Las Cruces!” As titled, the route completely avoids I-10 between Texas exit 72 (Spur 148/Ft. Hancock) and New Mexico exit 135 (West Las Cruces), which is disastrous (shoulder rumble strips) in Texas and illegal (safety corridor) in New Mexico. If you have a valid passport or other appropriate document, cross the last truly historic single-lane bridge across the Rio Grande/Rio Bravo into MAGNIFICENT MEXICO, where I am safer pedaling there than in the USA!

Turned away a young couple with 2 infant children the night before Christmas eve. They were broke down on I-10 coming from Florida to Arizona for Christmas. They said there was a lady behind the glass that kept raising the rate. I don't know what the problem was. I was the one that came from Arizona to Texas to pick them up on Christmas Eve.

When I pulled in to get a room I new there was something wrong with it. It was all toren up and looked nasty I payed for a room they made me stand in the cold out side to pay I got in my car and read all the reviews I didn’t even wanna walk in there so I just asked for my money back and left if I were you I would go there I would get a better place

Well it started with rm. 10 and tiles falling off shower. Then they moved us to rm. 18 with mold. No refunds they said then at 7 am NO POWER. the pictures i posted say a million words.
