If you are needing someone reliable and affordable for your roof repairs I highly recommend Floyd for the job. I read the reviews and was impressed with the comments that others had made. I gave him a call and he was able to meet me within 24 hours. The roof had several issues with leaks between two additions and leaks along the tiles along the perimeter of the main structure.Floyd and his crew replaced the roof on the main structure with new composition rolled on roofing and sealed with the torch method. He sealed.all the tiles, replaced water damaged decking and fascia and primed and painted those areas. He sealed in between the building additions from the roof to the ground.I feel like I received a great value for what I was charged for the repairs. He completed the work within three days and left the site clean. Floyd has been in the roofing business for several years and I can highly recommend him.

Floyd did great work for me. We were having problems with squirrels making holes in the roof eaves and getting into attic of my two story home. The roof is very steep and I did not feel comfortable getting on the roof. Floyd had no problems with the roof slope. He fixed 4 holes and replaced the flashing around the chimney. He is an honest man who stood by his initial quote (reasonable price) though he had to do extra work once he got on the roof and got a better look at the damage. He is a sole proprietor looking to honest work without ripping people off. He also clean up after his work. Highly recommend.

A few years ago, I had a leak in my roof with water coming through the laundry room ceiling, and initially called the contractor who had installed it to get an estimate for repairs. The estimate seemed high and the scope of work seemed deliberately narrow - I was told that the dryer vent needed to be replaced and that there was "no way to know for sure" if that would actually stop the leak. So, I would need to keep an eye on things when it rained and call them back out if the leak persisted. Even though the company had a decent reputation, the rep seemed to be less than trustworthy, to be polite.I found Floyd Heggie Roofing on Yelp and decided to give him a call. I was immediately impressed! After his inspection of the leak inside and the roof, his opinion was that the dryer vent did not need to be replaced, rather the area around it needed to be sealed. As water can obviously do lots of traveling before finally leaking through, he could not say 100% for certain that the dryer vent area was the culprit, although it seemed likely. There were a few other vents in the general area, and his recommendation was to go ahead and seal all of those as well, on the off chance that the dryer vent wasn't the problem. His estimate was very reasonable (less than the other company, even excluding the unnecessary new vent) and the recommended work eliminated the problem, instead of potentially setting me up for repeated service calls.When I recently purchased a new home, the inspection uncovered a few roof related items. The seller said they could not find anyone to do the repairs, possibly due to the steep pitch, but I knew exactly who to call. Once again, Floyd came through and installed a new fresh air vent for the fireplace and a new dryer vent, as well as taking a good look at the roof overall. Floyd takes excellent care of his customers and it is evident that he takes pride in his work. I have already recommended him to several friends and will continue to do so.

I had Floyd & company install a complete new roof - including ripping out the old roof and a second layer of wood shingles (as well as what turned out to be bad plywood sub-roofing). He walked me through every step of the process, from free estimate to final clean-up, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Floyd is one of those rare honest contractors that isn't in too much of a hurry to listen to his customers and really give them the information they need to feel good about the whole process. He is reasonable, uses professional workmen, and after having him do another smaller job recently, I can say that he will be there when you need his help, even if it isn't making him a lot of money. I really cannot recommend Floyd Heggie Roofing strongly enough. He's also a friendly guy and nice to talk to.

I would recommend Floyd Heggie Roofing and Repair. My roof had wind damage due to the spring storms we had in Fort Worth. Quick a few shingles were blown off my roof. I called Floyd for an estimate, he came out that same day and sent me a reasonable estimate. I accepted the estimate. He and his co-worker came out at my convenience, preformed the work, took before and after pictures as I requested. I will recommend Floyd Heggie Roofing and Repair to others and if I ever need additional roof work I will be calling Floyd.

I have used Floyd Heggie 3 times in the past year,once for my residence, and twice for my business. He has been wonderful all 3 times. At my residence he replaced shingles and replaced all the siding and flashing around the chimney after a wind storm. His price was reasonable and his work was excellent.At my business, he was able to fix some problems other companies could not solve, he re-roofed an area, and re-sealed sections, and caulked the skylight. I highly recommend Floyd Heggie, his price is fair and he stands behind his work. He is very professional.

My roof had a leak which ruined the ceiling in one of the rooms of my house. My wife got contacted Floyd Heggie to replace our roof. The man got sick the day of, can't blame him for that, and I thank him for calling and letting us know. It took them only a day and a half to replace my entire roof. I was very pleased with the quality of service. They also had the ceiling repaired at no extra charge and a place where a support beam came through my all in my living room during the roofing. Mister Heggie was in attendance and prominent the entire time, giving me updates and keeping in contact. I strongly recommend Floyd Heggie for your roofing needs.

When I called Floyd Heggie, he was not only personable, but he also was wiling to come out and look at my roof within two days. He was right on time and explained clearly where he believed my leaking was coming from. He came out the very next afternoon and repaired my roof. He also told me to wait until we had a heavy rain before repairing the bubbles in my livingroom ceiling and if there were any more leaks in that area, he would be out right away to resolve the problem. He is a very honest person and I'm glad I called him to repair my roof. I would recommend him without any reservations.

I contacted Floyd last June about a small leak in my roof. The roof only leaks during heavy rain, and there is no visible damage on my roof. Floyd advised me that he could still tell where the leak was coming from and that he would be able to patch it. Floyd did work on my roof, and I paid him $475, but the problem was not fixed. I proceeded to call him the next three times I had heavy rain and it leaked (in the same spot), two of the times he came out and tried to fix it again, then on the third time he told me he needed to get more supplies and that he would be back out that Friday. Well he never came back. Floyd has also stopped answering my calls. My ceiling now has a hole in it and l likely have mold in my attic due to having a reocurring leak for 5 months. Now not only am I out the  $475 I paid Floyd to fix my roof but I now have to pay for another roofer to come out, and I'm going to have to pay to get my ceiling fixed and to get the mold removed.
