I’m always turned off by salesman or pushy people. After a storm I got a couple evaluations. 2/3 said I needed my roof done immediately and were super pressuring. Cole Lanier from JDL came out to look at our roof and told us we were plenty fine going another couple years given the weather permits. He was extremely polite, professional and showed great integrity with admirable attention to detail. Even fixed our gutter for free while he was up there. I have referred him out to friends and family and they have had nothing but praise after services. We used JDL Roofing (David Lanier GC) for our home renovation and repairs in Feb 2023. David was polite, on time, professional, and incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The teams he hired to do the work were exemplary - they did high quality work, were polite and professional, communicated any issues well in advance and prior to modifying plans, showed up on time, and finished on time and on budget. The contractors and David all communicated well and we were able to adapt/be flexible as needed through the process (such as requests for early finishes some days, or to complete certain tasks before others, etc). On the first visit, David walked through and we discussed all the work to be done thoroughly. He promptly provided me a quote and details as to what he would recommend. He then hired the working teams to come complete the work. The sub contracted painters he hired, led by Juan, were amazing! David came by regularly to inspect the work and offer guidance. Overall, the work exceeded our expectations. Everything was done so well, super high quality, and on time or early. The communication was excellent so we always knew what was going to be done each day and could prepare ahead of time, or adjust if needed such as when we decided to modify the original quote to do more or less work on specific areas once uncovered. Highly recommend David and his team for all home renovation needs, both interior and exterior! We did roof and gable repair, chimney repair, gutter repair, spot repair of wood rot areas, and full home painting interior and exterior. It was especially reassuring to have the communication there so we knew the team was going to show up and complete tasks on time and on budget (problems we’ve had in the past with other contractors).
