We worked with Bobby from initial contact to project completion. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and answered ALL of our questions (and we had many). Very flexible on scheduling and always great with response time. The roofing crew is very hardworking they were on site from 7:30 AM to after 8:00 PM and made sure everything was clean and orderly before leaving. Beau was in my neighborhood doing jobs for other folks, and he offered to clean 50-60 branches off my roof. They had fallen down in recent windstorms, and I’d felt overwhelmed about cleaning them off. They were an eyesore, and I felt embarrassed about them. He cleaned them off quickly and was very professional. It may not have felt like a bother to him; but, since I’ve had a lot going on in my life recently, it was meaningful that he took time out of his day to recognize I could use his services and proactively step in. Short story:Hire The Roof Group and Beau Taylor. You will not be disappointed!Long story:I never write reviews. Until now. But Beau Taylor and the Roof Group leave no choice. I built my home and am picky about things being done right. But I have used many contractors for repairs and have developed a skepticism of how some operate. I told Beau this up front and it didn't bother him a bit. Amazingly, he liked it. Simply he is the best contractor I've ever hired. He does what he says and then some. A rare treat. Stop reading now if you wish. The rest is just details. But good ones.As for my actual roof job, I cannot imagine one better. Flexibility. He had his crew remove my gutters two weeks early so I could do needed, fascia repair. My roof is steep, high and big. Previous roof replacements have never taken less than 4 days. He planned on 2 days. I expressed doubt. He smiled. His crew of 14 came on day one and they left the afternoon of day two. With only half the crew on day two. Amazing! Obviously, his crew were all hard-working but also friendly, competent, and knowledgeable. Beau doesn't know this (until now) but I asked several what they thought about Beau. ALL really liked working with him. This speaks volumes about the work quality. Being myself, I mentioned/questioned some things at first. Every time the polite reply was "Beau already told us that." So I stayed out of the way. The work was done PERFECTLY. Really! And again, I am picky.Beau is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and can explain everything he does in clear terms. This is refreshing and unusual with many contractors. Deciding whether to hire Beau, I told my wife that my only concern was that he seemed to good to be true!The best for last.Many people (me, too!) dislike dealing with the insurance companies. This is where Beau excels most. He said that it is the part he likes best. He is truly distressed by the fact that so many companies try to evade covering things that their policies expressly cover. Most of my damage was from wind and previously my claim was denied because the company adjuster saw insufficient "hail" damage. Beau explained that though policies usually cover "wind and hail," they rarely approve a predominantly wind damage claim. Exactly my situation. Beau just said one must understand the law and the insurance coverages to deal with company claims adjusters. He does. Very well. Better then many adjusters. I gave Beau permission to call my company and set up an appointment. He did, and I met the adjuster with him present. Don't mistake me here. I like my insurance company and have found their adjusters to be friendly and fair. And Beau does not talk ill of insurance companies. Simply notes that when the one approving a claim is the one that pays the cost of repair, there can be danger of bias. He then deals with them for you using knowledge that he has acquired to help "get what you have paid for." Not in any way trying to defraud or cheat the company. In fact he sternly rejects anyone who does so any way. I to my adjuster why Beau was there and asked if he had met Beau. He said that he knew Beau with a sigh and slightly drooping shoulders. My claim was approved a few days later as primarily wind damage. The company refused to cover my detached garage roof because it did not have the wind damage my house had. This was disappointing, since it would result in a slightly different roof color between the two. But Beau honestly explained that regrettably, the policy allowed them this denial. A few days later Beau contacted me, unhappy with the situation, explaining he wanted to cover the cost of the garage roof replacement as a gift. You know my decision. I include this last bit not to say that he will do the same for you. Not at all! And not my deciding factor. It shows that Beau seems satisfied only with a job done as well as he can possibly do it. THAT was my deciding factor. Though I could go on, this is already too long.In short:Hire Beau Taylor! Integrity. Knowledge. Efficiency. Friendly service. This guy here!! I had all but given up on getting my roof claim approved, and was ready to dip into my savings… when I met Beau. He under promised and over delivered, to say the least.
