After scheduling multiple companies for visits to perform needed roof repairs following a hailstorm last fall, we selected Ashland because of their attention to detail and professionalism. Their estimate accounted for all of the work we needed, they talked us through everything, and they delivered on their promises--they got our entire massive roof (3,000+ sq ft house) installed in one day--old roof removed and new roof installed (with some follow-up gutter work the next day). They also handled recoverable depreciation payments with our insurer. I would highly recommend them.

Daniel is by far the most professional person in the roofing industry that I have ever encountered. His communication is great, he and his crew are there when he says they’ll be there! He has a no pressure sales approach. He double checks all the details to ensure things are done right! As a single female who knows nothing about roofing, he gave me total peace of mind and confidence every step of the way! He truly stands a head above the rest in the industry. I have used Ashland Roofing twice now. Both times they have helped me dealing with the Insurance company.They put on a new roof this week and was very impressed with their attention to detail. They are installing gutters that the insurance did not cover and other other details like replacing some worn out facia boards!If I ever need another roof I will call them only.

This company is amazing. They went above and beyond to help me with getting my roofing done. The insurance company sent a drone out to photo the roof and said I did not need a new roof. Daniel made multiple trips to the house to collect REAL photos of the roof damage, circle the damage on the roof, more photos, and dealt with my insurance like a true professional. I was ready to just pay for the new roof out of pocket and he would not let me give up. He proved I had hail damage and the insurance paid. The new roof is beautiful. I felt like “family” was taking care of me through the ordeal with the insurance company. Thank you Ashland Roofing! Can’t say enough good things about this group.

With all of the recent rain, we had a roof leak where water was running down the interior wall. I called in the morning and Daniel was there within 3 hours. He had a crew there quickly and the repair was completed quickly. His guys took pictures throughout the process, and he was there to ensure the job was done to his satisfaction. Most owners send a crew and never see the completed job. The quality of work, timeliness, and customer service was a great experience. I will be referring these guys to anyone who has an issue. In my opinion Daniel goes out of his way to ensure his customers are happy. I'll take that all day long.

Daniel showed up 45 minutes late to our appointment with the insurance adjuster without communicating, leaving both of us waiting. I figured he was a complete no show. When he finally did arrive, he helped himself to entering my backyard and started dealing with the adjuster, never bothering to knock or ring my doorbell. I reluctantly decided to go ahead and schedule our work with Ashland. I regret that decision. Daniel showed no respect for my time or schedule throughout the process. There were multiple occasions where Daniel was unable to deliver on schedule. I felt like I had to go behind every subcontractor he sent over in order to make sure the correct work was going to be done. In many cases, his guys were completely in the dark as to what work we had agreed upon to be done. I became frustrated and pointed out to him that I myself am a small business owner and my time is very flexible. Just simply tell me what time your guys will be here or at least what day, or if you don't know, just shoot me straight with that info. He deflected blame to his subcontractors and admitted he really didn't have any control over their schedules, even though he had given me specific scheduling information for each one. The final jaw dropper for me was when it came time to pick up payment. He had specifically told me he would swing by and pick up his check after 2 pm that Friday afternoon. He was a complete no show....no text, no call. In fact he didn't contact me until the next Wednesday, 5 days later, saying he was going to be in the area and wondering if he could come collect the check. He added a few nice lines about how he really appreciated the business, etc. At that point I just left his check under the mat out front. In regards to the quality of their work, I'm satisfied, but if you are looking for someone to shoot you straight, do what they say they're going to do when they say, look elsewhere. Daniel's lack of organization skills could have been overlooked, however, his attitude and lack of insight or care for anyone else's time speaks volumes. He thinks his time is more important than yours, and he doesn't even realize it.Follow up review: The shortcomings of Ashland are getting deeper by the day. In response to their response: Of course you have no one by the name of "Bennie Atkins". Your lack of attention to detail is apparent since the name is "Bennie ADKINS". In truth I used an alias, since I choose not to have my name associated with Ashland Roofing in any way. However, you are being dishonest in your response. You know exactly who I am because you have been calling my cell phone for the past 2 days. I consider our transaction complete. I've left an honest review. I would consider any further contact harassment and a further waste of my time. Daniel was offered specific constructive criticism about my grievances and chose not only to not offering any apology, but to deflect blame onto your subcontractors and then continue the same pattern of behavior. I have a record of our text messages that I could screen shot and upload but you have displayed such a lack of insight I'd rather not waste my time any further.

While the crew was working on my neighbors roof in Rowlett, June 3rd, they were very loud. Early morning yelling of Spanish swear words is not what I want to be woken up to. Then at lunchtime, they decided to come eat their lunch on MY front lawn, without even a asking permission. This is very rude and very unprofessional. Avoid using them Again they were very loud while on lunch. My girlfriend was trying to work, as her office is right in front by the yard.
