I thankfully give A&W roofing a 5 star due to Dave's exemplary trust building from start to finish. In 1/2024 my 25 year old roof in Georgetown Texas needed reroofed. David went to bat for me meeting the Insurance inspector insisting my damage was from the hail storm in 9/2023. David is a lifetime professional pointing out hail damage on my garage door and window and roof to the inspector. I am very relieved A&W Roofing Company worked with My Insurance Company. David had custom designed a surprisingly very affordable estimate keeping in my home insurance allowance. I am happy with the GAF Architectural roofing shingles, 25 year with 10 year workmanship guarantee! My anxiety went away when David had addressed my every concern even going on the roof to work with his roofing crew! The roof was done in 8 hours by a friendly and hard working crew who picked up all the nails and tarps. A&W even waited until my homeowners insurance paid me to pay them! Great experience, products and service. A&W David knows how to build trust! I will not hesitate to recommend A&W roofing for anyone’s roofing needs.

I heard about A & W Roofing from a parent (Hannah) whom I provide child care for her daughter. I was hesitate, replacing a roof is a huge expense, I wanted the job done right and did not want to be taken advantage of. David from A & W Roofing put all my fears to rest. Jacob from A&W roofing was absolutely excellent. He came out when we were looking to install ridge vents into our older roof.Upon arrival, he found enough damage to warrant a claim for a full new roof. Jacob came out when my insurance rep was on site, and had photos ready and handy in case the company didn’t agree.Upon approval by the insurance, Jacob provided an estimate, and even worked with the insurance company to correct some errors that cause the insurance estimate to be lower. I felt no pressure on being upsold, and was very comfortable during the entire process.The company beat their ETA on work start, and finished in 1 day. Job site was kept clean, and a few days after, I still have yet to find any debris from all the work done. I chose A&W Roofing as our roofer after a 2021 spring storm in our area largely based on reviews and on their focus on being a local, neighborhood-centric roofing company right here in Georgetown. Our roof required replacement to to hail. They were nice and laid back, didn't cold call or try to rush a sale like several other high-pressure prior roofers did. They didn't try to lure me in with illegal deductible reimbursement offers, and I heard nothing of gimmicky "Good/Better/Best" scenarios with no "only available only if you sign now" deals. They just promised a high-quality roof with a reputable local contractor, which is what was was looking for. They offered to work directly with my insurance company on some estimate adjustments, provided code documentation, dealt with an unresponsive adjuster by going up the supervisor chain, and would follow up with RCV payment requirements to assure I was fully paid. Even as I was skeptical in the beginning due to my dealings with other roofers, they offered to void our contract should I choose to do so. In the end, they conducted themselves in a way that made me feel comfortable going with them, feeling less like a leap of faith and more like a partner in putting us whole. Above all, they wanted us to feel confident in our choice of roofing companies.I won't lie...we did have some unfortunate issues with the roofing crew, including rushed work in rain, consequential damages, unprofessionalism, etc., and I presume they were not the "master builders" promised, but rather a subcontracted crew (some competitor's logos and all). But to be honest, I'm pretty sure all roofing crews are like that...you get what shows up (it's in the contract), and in the end it's down to the company that backs it. A&W, as a GAF Master Elite Contractor, was extremely concerned with our satisfaction and worked hard to make everything right. Our underlayment was reinstalled, crew-damaged gutters and drip edge replaced, and a subsequent HVAC visit due to an improperly installed furnace cap was reimbursed. They are very vested in their reputation and worked with an extremely critical me to install a beautiful roof that will last for decades. Our project manager Jo was a stand-up guy who addressed every concern with service in mind, and that's hard to find these days. Several followup on-site visits helped ease the stress of having a new roof installed, and the roof was inspected and walked multiple times to assure everything was done to perfection. Never once was final payment mentioned until they were sure they had fulfilled their end of the deal.While most of the roofs under our HOA all pretty much look the same, our new roof with GAF Timberline HDZ shingles, Z-Ridge shingles, and Cobra ridge vents (we didn't have them before) stands out just enough, as well as being installed on their FeltBuster synthetic underlayment and Storm Guard ice and water shield, to make me feel it was worth the upgrade. All appear to be backed by an outstanding warranty through GAF and by a company that I believe stands behind their work. I do feel confident in our relationship with A&W Roofing and in our excellent GAF roofing products, and I would not hesitate to use them on future projects.Services: Roof repair for storm & wind damage, Roof repair, Roof installation

We had to wait a while to write this review. We had a leak that other contractors tried and failed to fix. AW came and did the job. I waited for a good "frog strangler" and everything is completely dry. Very good work, pleasant people to work with worth every penny.

David matched the price quote for rain gutter but with the twist, the rain gutter I had quote from another company for was with rain gutter and guards/cover. but when the installation guy came he had already started the installation process and later told me that guards would cost extra of around $800-$900. I had an impression that both goes hand and hand because when I got quote from multiple vendors they all said guards would come with the gutter.in a way he scammed me by matching the price but without the installing guards/covers. even with that I paid the full price he quoted because the work had already started.will never come back with this roofing company.

He was extremely knowledgeable, dependable, and went out of his way to ensure I was taken care of in handling my difficult roofing situation. Typically dealing with homeowners insurance is a nightmare, but David made it easy, all while making sure I did not spend a penny out of pocket. Absolutely stellar experience from start to finish. We needed to replace a roof under an insurance claim prior to a sale closing, and so there were many variables at play. The insurance company estimate was a bit on the low side (lower than two other roofing companies bid to replace the roof), but these guys agreed to meet the insured replacement value to the penny. They were incredibly flexible with weather, home buyers wanting color choice, a pesky HOA, and more ... they were fine waiting for details to be worked out, but when we gave the final call of approval within 48 hours the roof was installed and done. And not a single phone call or additional charge tacked on. Great workers, great product, great price, great service ... the rare combo you don't find often these days. A&W Roofing did a great job replacing our aging roof with a new high quality TImberline HD Roof. Wesley and his crew did the job exceedingly quickly and worked with my insurance company to help make sure that I didn't get any unexpected costs. Wesley managed to get me a new roof while we were still under contract and not to delay anything, despite my worries.
