I want to say thank you. The process of getting the roof done and completed is very confusing for a new homeowner or if you have never done it before. Between laws, insurance and the roof repair it’s very complicated. Tony came explained the process and how it works and stayed in touch helped us find a contact for our windows to be repaired, rain gutters fixed help us to understand all that goes with it. We had widespread hail damage, after the spring storm that blew thru last March. Our friends referred us to Stephen Curry at Excel Construction. He was so wonderful to work with. We had a shingle roof and he replaced it with a metal roof, which we have always wanted. He also was able to replace the metal roof on our workshop and various other items, were repaired, and the only thing we were out of pocket, was our deductible. Stephen is very professional and knows what he's doing. We trusted him completely to get done what we wanted and what was needed. Call Stephen Curry, you will not regret it!!!!

We had our roof done by Tony. He was awesome. He took the time to get to know us and really built trust. This was important since we had the job done while we were out of town. He was attentive to our needs and kept us updated every step of the way. He dealt with insurance and was very thorough in his explanations, answering all questions along the way. He even sent us photos during the job while we were away and even let the dog out! The roof looks great, and Tony is welcome at my house any time after 9am lol. Thanks Tony.

Absolutely fantastic experience!! Ice storms hit our area hard, causing significant storm damage to roofs. We contacted Excel Construction Group for proper roof repair, and they were quick and provided an estimated price range for the roof maintenance. Even though we were'nt getting our entire roof replaced, they still made us feel like a top priority and completed all the work in less then a week.

This company has NO RESPECT for No soliciting signs. We have it clearly posted that we are not interested in ambulance chasing roofers, which is exactly what they are. I don't usually bother leaving bad reviews when I didn't use a service, but considering this is not the first time they have left their card on our door, I figured what the hell, you want to waste my time and disrespect me? Fine. Looking at this most recent card Cristina Moreno cannot read or respect peoples requests for no soliciting. Great job giving your company a good reputation!

I can’t say enough good things about Jessie Berryhill and Mandy. They came out to inspect our roof for hail damage and sat down with me to walk me through the entire inspection report. They are very open, honest and transparent. They advised not enough damage to file a claim but completed repairs that were needed. Super knowledgeable, friendly and very professional. Interesting experience, good work but communication with Stacy was not transparent and honest. As an engineer myself, I saw all the holes at first conversation but since she came as a referral my husband felt compelled to use her. In the end, we felt cheated and pushed around once we pointed out the loop holes in the paperwork, work to be done and insurance pay out.They work to get the most out of insurance regardless of how much the roof actually costs. Also all the extra roof sheets purchased were taken away instead of given to us.

She is very knowledgeable and will walk you through the process of everything from start to finish to include working with the insurance company on a personal level to alleviate your additional stress/burden. Micha Turner and Brian Gozdowski were on top of things from the very beginning. They handled everything on my behalf with the insurance company and were here with the adjuster to make sure all the damage from the hail storm was accounted for and they followed up during the process. Our roof was installed by a talented crew and all the trash and nails were cleaned up nicely. The crew forgot to reconnect one hot water heater pipe and Micha had them back out within an hour to finish the work. Everything went smoothly from the roof to the gutters to the painting of the door and outside stair railing. Overall I was very pleased and my wife couldn’t get over how good it all looked. A sign that says “no soliciting… don’t knock, don’t ring the doorbell” doesn’t translate to knock anyway and leave your business card when I don’t answer. It’s disrespectful to read the sign and ignore it and knock anyway. If there ever was a chance of me using your company, it’s gone now.It’s also a good way to lose your door to door solicitation permit which is needed to legally do what you did in virtually every DFW city. If I was in a worse mood right now, I’d report this to the city so you lose your permit.
