I went into ABC supply today to purchase roof shingles. I had called days in advance to ensure that the shingles would be in their inventory - Owens Corning in chateau green. Based on their response that their shingles were available, I planned the rest of the construction project based on this. I picked up the shingles and ridge today due to having a construction crew coming tomorrow. When I go home to unload, I saw that only two of them bundles were the right color and the rest were not - they were a different color (desert tan). By the time I caught their mistake, they were already closed. This is such a problem as I now have to stop construction until I am able to return these shingles and get the right ones. Due to holiday weekend (Good Friday), the builder will not come back until the end of next week. This is so upsetting! Now I have to re-schedule other contractors including carpenter and painter. To make things even worse, after checking the receipt, I saw that I was also overcharged by about $600-800 dollars. I don’t buy much from this place, and I am sure they are ok most of the time, but on my order they really screwed up and cost me time and money!

Went to the McAllen store, for 3 tab shinglesThey didn't have any in stock. BUT called their Harlingen store, with out me asking and got me their address and phone number, Drove over their, They had me out the door with what i needed , Loaded up and gone in 15 minutes, Loews nor Home Depot had what i neededGlad ABC supply still carries the three tab plain shingles
