We found B.A.G Remodelers looking to have windows installed in our living room in a wall where no windows had been before. No other remodelers were willing to take on the task as it was too complex for them to handle. B.A.G. came out and gave us an extremely fair quote that we accepted and they came out the next day and got started. Well, to say they did a fantastic job would be an understatement. I had BAG Remodelers perform a foundation repair beneath an elevated pier and beam single family home. Additional piers were installed to assist the load of the existing beams, as well as, three new beams running the length of the house with supporting piers were installed. Over 30 additional piers were added. All piers were installed by digging new reservoirs and pouring concrete up to four feet below the existing grade.BAG Remodelers did a fantastic job from start to finish. Barney is professional and delivers high quality work and service for good value. I am impressed by the integrity of his crew and highly recommend BAG Remodelers. Barney took additional time to walk us through the process, pointing out what would be needed and why for this foundation repair. Multiple bids from competitors were obtained; with BAG Remodelers recommending the most aggressive solution and delivering a high quality foundation repair for less than other bids which recommended smaller scale/scope solutions.

Selected BAG remodelers after speaking with multiple contracts for repairs from Hurricane Harvey Flooding. Barney did a great job talking through the projects and is willing to work with you on what needs to be done as well as how. He and his crew are very respectful and hard workers. I have recommended BAG to multiple people as well as will be having them back to do another project for us. Work performed: Sheetrock replacement (lower level of house and garage) tape, float, texture, paint, baseboard, trim, replace 5 doors and replace framing on a corner of the house that was damaged.

As was true with the first job six years ago, his commitment to do a good job as you wish to have it done, to always be available for changes and extra jobs, and above all to be loyal to his staff who are reciprocal in their feeling for him is his code of ethics.You may think this sounds too good to be true? It just isn’t. Barney commits to a project and stays with it until the end. It has been great to have someone you can bounce off ideas and know that his response will be truthful and wise from years of experience. You can expect phone calls if you haven’t seen him in a day or so due to making rounds on his other projects. You can always count on his staff to know what he would want done in his absence. His staff is cordial, professional and committed to doing a great job.Barney and his crew are very versatile. The following is a list of projects they completed for us on this occasion: tape, float and install sheet rock, repaired Dutch swinging door, painted several rooms, installed new door, power washed the entire home and sidewalks, installed 12 foot vinyl fence, adjusted and repaired drain hose under sink, repaired bathroom fixtures, repaired cracks in sheet rock, adjusted door in bathroom which no longer was closing properly, diagnosed lighting problems in attached storage area, adjusted insulation as needed, and built covering for air conditioner to prevent rain damage in wall.Please note, no one left the job at the end of the day without cleaning up their work area. We never had to ask for that to be done. Debris and unwanted items were hauled away once the job was finished. The workers were always respectful of our belongings.We strongly recommend Barney and his crew for a project you are considering. Barney’s word is a commitment to complete a job at the price you were quoted. Barney is arrogant, rude, and unprofessional. He wasted most of his consultation time in our home bad mouthing past clients and his office worker Regina. Both topics he brought out of left field when all we wanted was to discuss our project and get pricing. He shushed me when I asked questions and made his irritation very visible with his smirk. If you are using a rehab loan that requires filling out a bid sheet, don't use him. He doesn't have the knowledge to do so. After two months of empty promises to "have the bid next week", we were more than glad to watch him go. Within an hour of Barney leaving, we already had another appointment for another GC. Less than a week after that appointment, that same GC has our bid typed out and ready to go. It's not a difficult process, so don't let Barney string you along and tell you it is.*BAG is NOT an accredited business with BBB despite the BBB accredited business photo he proudly displays.

We worked with BAG remodeling on our addition of a bedroom, bathroom, and breakfast room. We did a complete kitchen remodel including custom built cabinets, storage areas, and quartz countertops. They also handled some outdoor work we needed done such as curb repair, correction of lawn drainage and fencing. The owner, Barney Gonzales is a hands on general contractor. He and his teams were right on things and the work was done beautifully and correctly . They stand behind their word and from the start our project was handled in a professional manner. We hired B.A.G Remodelers back in February 2018 because we were affected by Hurricane Harvey in 2017. We were very picky on deciding who to choose for our entire remodel on our home. We had gotten several quotes from other companies which were not in my opinion “Doing the right thing” But taking advantage of the disaster others were going through at that time.When we met Barney with B.A.G. Remodelers it was a completely different experience. We asked him for just a quote on doing the walls and we would go from there. And finally someone who respected our wishes and did just that. He did add that we should do a complete mold protection on all our 2x4’s which no one had even mentioned to do before. So we were pleased with his quote and hired him to go ahead and start with the walls.We then went ahead to the next phase which was kitchen and bathrooms. This was my absolute favorite part we had freedom in choosing our own tiles and cabinets. We told him what we wanted and he delivered exactly that! When the bathroom with the tub was done the window box tiles that matched the boarder were going the wrong way. That was the only thing that I was sad about but he said NO PROBLEM he took that out with ease and put it in the right direction. I was soooooo excited my spa bathroom was complete just how I wanted it.So its all in the details don’t just except something for what it is they are here to make it the way you truly intended it to be. My moms bathroom was a complete change over. She’s really enjoying it! A lot of homes are putting in showers taking away one of the bathtubs which makes it great if your getting older or going to sell your home. When we were at the point of installing the kitchen island the floor was un-level they were wanting to cut the cabinet but my mom said NO. So they had to pick up the flooring they had put down to level the concrete some more so the end of the story is level floor, island is not cut down and Happy MOM.The pictures pretty much tell how we love our kitchen. We had lots of fun picking out everything in there too. We also got our back patio done then too which we are very happy with.So at the end of November 2019 we had Barney back out to do our driveway and walkways. I love the detail that was taken into consideration like a slight angle of the driveway that leans toward our drain so the water will run it that direction. We did have quotes from other companies for the driveway that didn’t mention that. So again DETAILS something you might not remember to do they help with pointing it out so you won’t miss doing it.You can go to B.A.G. Remodelers Inc. on Facebook to see the work they did for us. Hello! I worked with B.A.G. Remodelers earlier this year after I moved back into a home I had previously leaded. I needed everything... all walls painted, light fixtures changed, trim repair and paint, and ceilings painted. Not only did they take care of all of these requests professionally and within budget they also worked with me as the project got underway for things that also needed some updates/touch ups. These folks were in my home for quite a few days and I never had a issue. Would hire them again without any hesitation!

B.A.G is an excellent company to work with when you need any home remodeling done. We had them remove and install new material for our siding (installed hardy plank), windows, and doors. They also raised and secured my foundation around my garage. In fact, they were the only company they brought to our attention what the foundation was doing and would not recommend any work until this was fixed (my neighbor across the street noticed this about a year before B.A.G was awarded the contract). I give them a very excellent rating (5*) and I would 100% used them again and would highly recommend them to anyone that inquired about repairs/remodeling.

I was being very picky who I chose to do my work. I was flooded by Harvey and wanted to find a GC that I could trust and would be there when I called if I had a question about anything. He always got back with me in a timely manner and did a great job putting my walls back together from Sheetrock to the final coat of paint. Lord willing I won’t need him for a job due to a hurricane. But I would definitely reach out again if I decided to fix up another home.
