He took great care of my parents throughout the entire process (beginning with getting initial approvals from the ins co - to closing out the final details with them). He went above and beyond to ensure that everything was completed with satisfaction. Milton was available and willing to answer any questions we had regarding the job being done. Beware of this contractor. Have him finish work before you pay.I contacted Brandstell to fix four outdoor faucet leaks that arose from a freeze (Feb 2021). I was pleased that they responded promptly to my call. They fixed 3 leaks (small PVC repair) and needed a PVC part to finish the 4th (two visits, less than 1 hour on-site combined) They plugged the remaining pipe and said they would come back to complete the remaining repair once they got the extra PVC piece. I paid them in full $900 for all four leaks (way too much but demand was high given hard freeze so I had little choice). That was the last I saw of them. It is now nearly June (3.5 months later). I have tried to contact them several times and keep getting excuses (e.g. my guy has COVID .... 3.5 months really!!). After realizing they never intended to finish the job I asked for $150 refund. Never came. I followed up.. 'Check your April Statment" they said... no refund was ever issued. Not sure if they were being dishonest when thy said they refunded in April or are just so disorganized they have no idea what is going on. In any case it was very frustrating to be ignored continuously, I paid promptly in good faith. A mistake for this contractor. During the freeze (before I recognized the lack of followup), I recommended them to a few neighbors as their initial response to my call was prompt. I have heard numerous complaints from my neighbors about lack of follow-up, including not issuing receipts needed for insurance claims and not returning calls. Save yourself the trouble and find someone else.Service: Repair water fixtures
