My experience with HHI has been the best I have ever had when it comes to a major project. Ivan came out the same day I called, and spent close to 2 hrs with us designing the patio cover. After getting 2 more bids, we decided that we were most comfortable with HHI. The project went exactly as he said it would. His contractors were all top notch! From the concrete to the framer, stone mason, to the painters. All were friendly, professional, and made sure they cleaned up daily, and we were satisfied with their work. Ivan's communication throughout the project was second to none. I would highly recommend this company for your outdoor project!

Can’t say enough great things about HHI Patio Covers! Pablo presented us plans with what we had in mind. Every person involved with the planning and building of our patio were professional, hardworking and worked well together. Our neighbors were impressed with the work and how efficient everything went. We had a week of very wet weather and though it slowed the process, we were updated daily and immediately work started up again. I highly recommend them!Also, got a call from our HOA and they said the request for our architectural proposal was so well done that they were going to use it to teach new employees how they are supposed to be done!! That was a nice surprise!!

From the moment we contacted HHI, our experience has been great. Hugo, the owner has assembled a team of great professionals who’ve worked with him for years - this tells you something about the company culture.Pablo was our main contact - a great communicator, extremely service driven, and a can-do mentality. Multiple changes in direction on our end were accommodated, and over delivered.We built a large freestanding patio cover, new stamped concrete for the entire backyard, and a 12x12 ft outdoor kitchen with bar. The masonry work was out of this world. The patio cover was constructed meticulously by Angel.On top of all this, very reasonably priced (I got 8 quotes from other companies too). Definitely recommend HHI to friends, family and strangers alike!

WoW! I have been blown away by the pricing, by the efficiency of Hugo, Pablo and his crew. Their work is top notch, their prices competitive. I am so compelled to write this review and the work isn’t even finished yet! But three days has yielded so much production that this crew has blown the competition OUT OF THE WATER! If you are noncommittal about HHI, let me tell you this is a no brainer. They are worth their weight in gold! I will post pics at the END of the job but this is hands down the best construction crew there is. I would trust them with any job. I’m called into the medical field, but I can attest that this crew is the best when it comes to construction and remodeling!! HHI completed our patio back in April, wrote the review right after completion, and forgot to hit ‘post’……..…..We cant be more pleased with Ivan and his team in the completion of our screened in patio cover. He explained everything thoroughly and always responded quickly to my concerns and questions. Prepared the HOA request and once approved, the work began immediately and was completed within 2 weeks. Excellent work and attention! They are a highly experienced team that strives to meet one's needs and whims 😋. Some of our requests were a little different from what people commonly do in their backyards, but they always looked for a way to please us, while also meeting (and exceeding) the quality and codes required by the City. I was impressed with the way Pablo responded with my request. The moment I requested it online, I got a call from Pablo and he was quick to get me on the schedule. I even rescheduled last min so my husband can be present and he was so quick at responding and accommodated to my schedule change. Out of all the companies that came out to quote us, he just seemed more humbled and straight forward with asking questions and answering our questions. He wasn't trying to complete a sales pitch or make us feel like we HAD to get something a certain way. He provided us with the information we needed and we put our trust in his design and build. It was quick, straight to the point, and simple. He did a great job not overwhelming me like everyone else. That was the reason why we decided to go with HHI Patio Covers. If someone can make me feel comfortable during the quote, then I know the project will be just as smooth!He came on a Friday to talk to us about what we wanted and literally that Saturday morning he sent us the quote. Any questions we had, he was quick to respond. On Wednesday, the moment we decided to go with HHI, he started the HOA process THAT same day. Didn't even skip a beat! HOA approved our build 2 days later. That follow Monday, Pablo didn't even hesitate, he had already had his team come Monday to verify measurements and drop off equipment. He contacted us to communicate building plans that evening. We were shocked that he had his guys come already, "oh your starting now?". We expected them to start a month later and be done after a month.Even though it rained non-stop that week, his team came out and started the build. Every evening we saw more and more of our patio come up. It was quick, Alan and Walter worked non-stop and didn't skip a beat! It was amazing how quick they finished our patio with the weather being the way it was.Pablo was quick to confirm anything and answer any questions while the patio was being built.We didn't get the extended rods for our fans, so we had to run out and grab them really quickly but they didn't have the right colors. We didn't want to take up too much of their time, so we just rolled with the brown ones to go with the black fans. Not going to lie, we weren't too concerned about it but Pablo wasn't going to let it stay that way. :) so he ordered the corrected ones for us and had the electrician come change it out. You can tell that Pablo is a true perfectionist and wouldn't just cut corner or leave something that doesn't look right. He wants everything to be done right! Even when there was a very small issue with something that we didn't find as a big issue, Pablo always came back to report to us and made sure we were comfortable with the experience we had. He kept us posted and informed at all times. He also came out a few times to check the build to make sure things were done correctly. This is what you would want from a company that is building a large project, just being in the loop and having good communication so its not so stressful. It was perfect!We have no complaints about the build and we love it. The next weekend I sat outside for the whole day enjoying the patio! We will be calling Pablo again when we want add ons!

We are absolutely head over heels in love with our new patio cover. After getting several quotes we are glad we chose HHI. Ivan and his team were true professionals and gave us exactly what we were looking for. At our initial appointment, Ivan wasn’t sure it was possible because of the layout of our house and barn style garage, but when he came back to show us the plans they somehow made it happen. We choose a hip style roof with vaulted tongue and groove ceilings. It looks absolutely amazing! HHI has been one of the best contractors we have ever worked with. They were true professionals from start to finish. The craftsmanship and attention to detail by their crew was excellent. We had wanted a single carport-patio cover structure with a vaulted ceiling. With the layout of our house and garage, they initially felt that what we wanted may not be possible. The day Ivan came out with their construction foreman, Angel, to measure for materials, he mentioned our desire for a single structure. That day Angel indicated he did not think it was possible. But the next morning he came back and said there was a way to do it. We ended up with the beautiful single vaulted ceiling carport-patio cover structure we had hoped for. Neighbors have come by and marveled how good the addition looks. During the construction, the crew was friendly, efficient, communicated what they were planning on doing and cleaned up every night. I hired HHI to add a shingled patio cover and outdoor kitchen onto the back of my house. They were reasonably priced and did a great job! Hugo and his crew were great to work with. Everyone is friendly and helpful. They gave us plenty of freedom to design our own space and met our high standards and detailed requirements down to the color of the trim on the recessed lights in the ceiling. They used the best materials of construction and they followed recommended design & construction practices so everything is built to last. As we desired, the construction of the patio cover looks like it was part of the original home construction. We love our outdoor kitchen and patio cover!

I want to start off by saying that the end result was FANTASTIC. Hugo is the most stand up guy in the business. I looked at 4 places to do the work and Hugo was the only one that came out in person to do the estimate where as everyone else just gave me a quote over the phone. His crew is outstanding and very nice and professional. I can not say enough about the character of Mr. Hugo Torres because he and his crew go the extra mile to make sure you are pleased with their service. They ask you for your input and ask if there are any changes that you might want done to your liking before they proceed to the point of no return and that is huge. The style of my house is a cottage style that has no brick so the jobs they do fit the style of your home no matter what type it is and when complete, actually looks like it was part of the home to begin with. It is truly amazing to see. Work like this is worth the money you spend because it is an investment and greatly increases the value of your home no matter what style it is. Every home is different so the cost of each project will be different and Hugo will be straight up and honest on his estimate but I guarantee you that when the job is complete you will be glad that you picked him among all the others. I have already recommended him to 3 people and they just completed my patio yesterday. Hugo Torres, you are the best my friend and I appreciate everything you did for me and the wife.
