SV Roofing replaced our roof and was paid over $30K for the work done in 2017 in Coles Crossing. They never finished some of the trim work but we let that go as we were tired of calling Ricardo and him not responding. The roof started leaking about two years ago during the extreme winter and still Ricardo would not come out to make repairs. We patched it ourselves but the underlying flasking needs to be repaired.Recently we had some hail damage so we called another roofer to give us an estimate. He immediately said the roof was not installed correctly. He was very alarmed that someone would install the roof in such a manner. Later the State Farm adjuster said the exact same thing. SV Roofing still will not return our calls.Our builder, Morning Star, has stopped using them. I wonder why?Today I contacted GAF who makes the shingles, hoping that they could put some pressure on Ricardo to fix our roof. I was informed that SV Roofing is no longer GAF certified, as stated on the SV Roofing web site. If they were, the GAF would be able to help us.Do not use this company. They do not install roofs correctly and do not perform any warranty work at all. They also advertise they are a certified GAF Roofer but they are not.Maybe this posting will get them to call us so that we can work this out. If so, I will remove this post.9/27/2022 - UpdateAmazingly, Ricardo contacted us the same day I posted the original review. He met with us about a week later to go over the items that needed to be done to the roof. Some items appear to be GAF (the shingle company) issues so we got the area GAF representative inspect the roof.Ricardo was a no-show for the meeting with GAF, even though he was reminded the day before. The result of the inspection by GAF is the entire roof will need to be replaced. The house is 6,500 sq feet, that's a lot of roof.We are hoping that SV Roofing will step-up and provide some or all of the labor for the new roof. GAF typically only provides the material.Service: Roof installation
