I was also impressed that the better quality underlayment that was an option elsewhere was standard here for the base price. In my case, they had a large crew of roofers who got it done in one day and a reasonable price for uninstalling and reinstalling the same gutters professionally the first time. We had our roof replaced on our home, Jan. 12.2022 by Whitmans Contracting & Roofing. The representative, Mark Show, was very knowledgeable and thorough in his examination of the old roof and in detailing what was now needed. This was the fifth company that we interviewed for the project and Mark impressed us the most with all that they offered. On the day of replacement, the crew showed up on time, were courteous, efficient, thorough, and left the property by 4 pm with the property clean. Mr. Whitman and his crew did a good job on my roof and some interior repair and painting. Estimate was accurate and the minor additional costs were due to work that was not identifiable until shingles had been removed. Mr. Whitman handled permits, supervised all work and answered all my questions. Mr. Whitman also filed paperwork with my insurance company which resulted in my receiving an additional check which I had not anticipated. Work was done in a timely manner. I recommend Mr. Whitman and his company without reservation.

I had a suspected roof leak that needed repair. Peter Whitman arrived promptly at 9 AM to conduct an inspection from inside and outside the home. He felt confident that he had located the problem and would be able to fix it without any issues. His roofer quickly got to work and informed me of his progress and the problem along the way. Peter did follow up mid morning on the job and said all was fixed. Peter and his roofer were courteous, professional and efficient. They did a great job on the repair and even sent me 36 photos of the damage and corrective work via a DropBox link! Pricing was very fair, Whitmans Contracting & Roofing will be my go to for any roofing issues or roof replacement in the future.

I highly recommend this roofing company. The roofing crew members were professional, courteous and hard working. Peter Whitman, the owner is also very professional, courteous and has an eye for detail. For example, he noticed one of the vents installed by the HVAC company years ago was not properly sealed. He contacted the HVAC company, got the proper fixture and sealed it. He was on the job site several times during this two-day project and he kept me up-to-date via texts and/or emails.One of the biggest things that stood out about prior reviews of this roofing company was clean-up afterwards. I can add another, "Yes!" to those reviews. After his clean-up crew left he, personally, swept the yard for nails (with a large magnet) and debris. This is a professional who is meticulous and takes pride in his work.
