I have never given a review before, but I was so impressed with Poteet Construction, I just had to speak up. The project was to remodel the kitchen (included removing walls) and add a porch to the back of the house. To be honest, I was little nervous about using Poteet Construction because they were the lowest bid and stated could start in a couple of weeks and complete the job in 3 months, while other bids were substantially more expensive and would start months later and would take 6 months to complete. Paul Poteet was very accurate with his timeline, in fact he complete the project 1 day short of 3 months. I was totally impressed with Paul, because he would come out at least 1 time a week to check on the status, even thou the project was over 1 hour drive. As for quality, I could not ask for anything better, the kitchen came out beautiful, as well as the back porch. I would recommend Poteet Construction to anyone who is remodeling or even building a new house. You cannot go wrong.Service: Remodeling

Paul Pooteet is wonderful. His crew is excellent. He recently added a sunroom to our home. It is beautiful. We had existing paneling in the living room, but wanted double french doors on both sides leading into sunroom. He matched the colors seamlessly. He would have been accurate in his time line and bid, however we kept adding and he patiently agreed to do even more , though I am sure he had other jobs to attend to. No matter how many times we changed our minds which even involved redoing some things at no fault of him or his crew he would just patiently do it. He became not just our contractor but a friend as well, he would stop in and check the job site and stay and visit. He truly cares about the quality of his work. For some this might not matter but to is it meant everything, he is also a Christian and a family man. I just can not say enough about his company and how professional and honest they are.

We used Poteet Construction to build our dream home on Lake Houston. He was very thorough, used quality materials, and had great craftsmanship. I watched every phase of the build from start to finish and had little to no complaints. I would definitely use Poteet Construction again!

Wow! I am completely blown away. I called Poteet Construction for a quote on a new build. These brothers went over and beyond guiding me on the process and this was just the first call. They even called back later that evening to share some insight on the property I had planned on purchasing. Without asking, they went into detail explaining the history of the neighborhood and even helping me review my land contract. These guys are heaven sent. You can tell that they are honest and passionate about what they do. I can’t wait to be a client of theirs in the near future.

i am pastor at Peach Creek Baptist Church located at 25963 F M 1485/99 in New Caney Texas. The church hired P.C.S. to build our new church facility. We got several bids to have some remodeling work done at our Lakehouse. The immediate prompt response and professionalism of Poteet stood out above the rest, and Paul was able to take a look at our project right away. His experience with quality construction was immediately apparent, as he brought a wealth of excellent suggestions for updating the space in a way that would give it a classy modern feel but also stay within our budget.We had a moments hesitation when his bid came back under the other two, worrying that maybe these guys were too good to be true, but we pulled the trigger with Poteet and we are so glad we did. The work they did was completed quickly after signing the contract and wrapped up ahead of schedule to host family for Christmas! The work was beautiful, professional and we have not found a single detail missed.We will without a doubt be calling Poteet first for any future projects and we feel very fortunate to have stumbled across such a great resource in this area. This was one of the most pleasant and easy contracting experiences we have ever had.

This is our first home and we needed a lot of hand-holding through the process. We had an unusual request that many other builders either wouldn't do or gave us a crazy high estimate for. But Paul Poteet looked at our sketch of our future house with an attached apartment and immediately set out to make our vision a reality for a really good price. He and his team did a great job on the build and helped us to save money. We love our home. Thanks Paul!

Poteet Construction came to our rescue right after Hurricane Harvey. They provided us with a very timely and thorough demo service as well as the best remodeling job you could ask for. They worked hand in hand with our flood insurance adjuster to ensure payment equaled services provided. I think the best part of the remodel is that they found and corrected almost all defects that had been performed by the original home builder. We came out of the remodel with a better, stronger, home that will maintain its future worth. The trades that Poteet utilized to provide the work are all seasoned, top notch, courteous proffesionals. Poteet Construction has worked on a few jobs for me and I have been completely satisfied with them all! They have remodeled a bathroom for me, replaced a leaking roof, and reconstructed the interior of a townhouse after roof leak damage from Hurricane Harvey. I am preparing to hire them again to replace two damaged roofs and windows from a hail storm last month. I have nothing but good to say about Paul and his team. I have referred him to a couple of friends because he does quality work at a decent price and is completely trustworthy! If you need repair work or construction, I would definitely recommend them.

Our House flooded during Hurricane Harvey. After demolition, we were confused about choosing a contractor for a full house rebuild. We interviewed five local contractors and selected Paul Poteet’s Construction Services. Paul initially met us on a Friday night as we walked into his office. He listened, visited the house, noted our concerns and some of the changes we wanted for the rebuild of our house. Paul suggested other changes and measured and remeasured our house to ensure the changes would fit. He produced two different proposals. We felt he was professional and knowledgeable with house rebuilds and caring about our situation.He introduced us to his lead foreman, and we found Dave to be understanding and in-tune with the changes we wanted to make to the house during rebuild. Both Paul and Dave continuously listened to our concerns and adapted their work to requested modifications to the original plan.Dave constantly monitored the progress and quality and workmanship performed by the subcontractors. Schedules were met and new products introduced by Dave and Paul when deliveries were hampered or our request to change design and outcome. When mistakes were made by the subcontractors, Paul and Dave ensured the work was corrected and completed to our satisfaction.We are very happy with our new rebuilt home. Paul, Dave and their team are an excellent home construction and rebuild company. Our expectations were exceeded and the vision of our home made real by Paul, Dave and their team. We would recommend them to our friends and family.

We purchased a home in need of a lot of renovation. Mr. Paul Poteet worked closely with us moving walls, adding bathrooms and completely removing all the kitchen and adding new cabinets, sink , dishwashers and appliances. Just called this location online to ask about a construction loan. The lady who answered the phone sounded like she just woke up or was having a really bad day. Completely non professional like I was calling a person not a business. I did not even want to ask my question or do business with them just by the first impression. We all have bad days however when you deal with customers you need to maintain some professionalism.
