My husband and I have shopped at Trico two times in one week. Not one time, has an employee treated us with kindness or asked if we needed help. My husband asked for assistance and was told it’s on the wall. As if, he knew exactly where the item was. Otherwise, he would found it himself. The women at the cash register had the personality of a board. We spent quite a bit of money and will not ever return. If I could leave a review of 0, I would. I would never recommend anyone spend one penny in that store!

A nice lumber yard to be in such a country setting! Very clean and helpful employees! Seem to have a great selection of lumber at a moderate cost with help loading and advice on products!Highly Recommend

The store is nice, well stocked and organized. Unfortunately, I have to agree with previous comments about the staff. Not a very friendly bunch and act extremely put out when you ask for help or get to the register. They’ve got what you need but it might be an uncomfortable/awkward experience.

Interesting experience here today. Staff at checkout didn't seem very much interested to help anyone. They did help me and the store had what I needed, but only after me asking for some help. I've been told that the guy in charge here knows he's the only game in town. It shows.

I could spend an hour or so looking at all the stuff. They actually have glass, ornamental, oil-burning laterns, and wicks and oil! That's not something you'll find in big box stores. And the prices are good....really good; I bought a lawn mower spark plug for $2.99 - even Amazon wanted $4.99 for the same plug.

I sent my wife up to grab a 16" chain and sharpening stones for a 12 volt stihl sharpener. I sent a picture of the bar so they could get her the correct size stones and chain. She came back with a 1r" bar and files. When I called and asked if they could fix this because they're about to close and we live a ways out, they put me on hold and then never picked up the phone.

Great service and selection.I left an old Stihl chain saw to be repaired, found out the carburetor is obsolete. I was told I could find an aftermarket online. Was not charged for time he spent on it. Will definitely use these folks again.

Order 23/32 OSB and paid to be delivered to my house in Marshall. I received 7/16 OSB. They told me that they couldnt come out till next day. However they said if the baord got ruined by storm coming that night they would not exchange them . Had to borrow a truck to take board back myself to get them exchanged and then had to argue to get a refund on the rather expensive delivery free. Why do buisness with a small businesses, I guess to get poor customer service and poor quality lumber

5* not for Trico but for the worker Ricky H.We got alot of very heavy 4x6 posts and other heavy lumber, this guy is loading it alone! My Hubby was helping him until I made him stop because he has a bad knee and back. My Hubby felt bad but what could he do?Theres a blonde headed boy that wasnt doing anything , I watched him the whole time doing nothing! Corey, I guess is his name? He walked past my truck talking to this other worker and I heard the Corey boy throwing around the "F" bomb like confetti.Not 1 time did this Ricky complain that he was alone! I felt horrible he was doing all the work by himself. I hope Trico recognizes good employees when they got one. Your business is as strong as your weakest employee.
