After putting our roof on while we where at work we had a friend that was a builder come in town and he noticed that Archie's roofing didn't change the Drip edge, and only painted the pipe jacks and vents. When out walking that evening we found some packaging from a different brand of shingles than we ordered, same color, but it was down the street so we can't say for sure. There was nails all in our yard and driveway. Would recommend anyone but him. Plus he has a crazy temper that we didn't see until after we had given him a huge deposit.

These "reviews" crack me up here.. I actually feel sorry for the people who use this company because they obviously don't know the value of the job they are paying for.We needed 3 shingles replaced so we randomly contacted Mr Archibald (of "Archie's" roofing), and asked him if his company did small jobs. He stated yes. We sent him several detailed photos of our job and he told us the price was going to be MINIMUM $300+!! just for labor. NO materials included.For T H R E E shingles to be replaced.Obviously, we were not going to pay this, so a retired roofer came out from church, looked at the job and said he could do it in 15 minutes, but the job was so easy he wanted me to do it "hands on" to learn. Having never touched a shingle in my life, doing 100% of the physical work myself, it took me all of 32 minutes..My church brother told me that this job maximum should have cost $100 just as a "trip fee".When i reached out to Mr Archie, and attempted to explain that he probably would look more ethical if when someone asked him if he did small jobs, to answer " sure, but minimum fee is $300", that it would probably look better from a communication standpoint. I told him that, of course, no one works for free, but charging $300+ for a 15 minute job seemed a bit exorbitant. It doesn't always have to be about trying to charge the absolute maximum amount of money from an unsuspecting individual that you can...Mr Archie didnt like this at all, and proceeded to throw a temper tantrum, telling me i had mental problems, and then had the nerve to challenge my Christian faith! Businesses almost always want to rip you off, it doesnt always have to be about the money. People reading this.... You have been advised.

the owner chris is a fraudulent guy, he gave me a bad check( check was returned by my bank) for refund. and he never pick up my calls again.Service: Roof installation
