Called and spoke with Shelby on 3/25; Rick called back on 3/26, saying he thought he returned the call but had not. He said he would come out to my home on 3/28, lo and behold, no call, no text, no show. Still no follow up to this day. This was a bad referral by State Farm. No longer needing their unreliable services.

After we had a hail storm come thru here in April and seeing that there were a few roofs being replaced in our area, we knew it was time to call a roofer. We decided to contact Katy Roofing & Remodeling due to the reviews.Rick came out the following day and explained how the process would work and how to file with our insurance company due to we had never filed a claim before.My husband and I have been in construction for over 25 years and are very familiar with working with contractors and their subs.We ended up having 4 different subs out here due to the different items affected by the hail, all of them scheduled by Rick.Rick was right here every day to make sure that everything was going as scheduled.The QUALITY of materials and WORK BY ALL is absolutely fantastic!Due to us using Katy Roofing based upon reviews, I decided that I would also include ours.We Thank you for the exceptional job!

We recently purchased a home that was in need of a new roof. Insurance wouldn’t cover the repairs so we were stuck covering the cost ourselves. I have shopped around and made the decision to go with Katy Roofing because they hooked us up with premium shingles at a reasonable price. Install was seamless. They even covered my pool during the install and sent over a pool company afterward to clean and check the parameters. I first met Rick almost 12 years ago when he came to our door asking if we wanted a free roof inspection after a storm. He found damage that insurance covered and we had his company, Katy Roofing & Restoration, put on a new roof. We were so grateful for his help and expertise!This week we had Rick come out again to inspect our roof and check some small water spots on our ceiling that we’d been noticing. He came out almost immediately and diagnosed the problem as a minor plumbing issue. He didn’t even charge us for his time!Our roof is still in great shape and I never have to look for a roofing company again! Great company to deal with. Update 11/2016: Although the roof install in the comments below was done in January, Mother Nature sent hail during the April Tax Day storm. Our roof was damaged and needed to be replaced again.It was an easy decision who to call. We waited until October in order to clear hurricane season and minimize the potential for having three new roofs in one year.Unlike many of the other companies replacing roofs on our street over the last several months, Katy Roofing did not race through in order to complete the project in a single day. It took two full days and we have a quality roof carefully installed by the same workers who put the roof on earlier this year.------------------------------------January, 2016 roof installChris, the sales representative was on the job site several times a day to be sure everything going as planned. The owner even dropped by twice just to check on the job. Roof replaced, and all exterior wood transitioned to Hardiplank. Crew was on the job every morning by 8:00 AM and worked until dusk. Appreciated the care taken to protect the landscaping.We could not have a job this large without some type of change from our side. The revisions to the hardiplank color were handled professionally and frankly Katy Roofing was very fair with the pricing.Have had other roofs installed which did not go nearly as well. Talked with five different highly rated roofing companies before making the decision to use Katy Roofing and Remodeling. This was a five star experience. I am confidently recommending Katy Roofing and Remodeling to my neighbors and friends.

Something made me stop just past your booth and look back to see your smile. While I knew we desperately needed a new roof, the expense was way more than I thought we could afford. But I decided to go back and ask about you taking a look at our house anyway…and I’m so glad I did!Your pricing was so competitive with quality materials and an accommodating schedule so there was never any lack of confidence or apprehension once we made the commitment to do the roof. Every step of the way you made us realize we had made the right decision…not only to replace the roof but to have you do it. All the features needed to update the roof from its original installation in 2000 (i.e., new vents, ridge vent and dimensional tiles) helped make our house look more updated and well-maintained. Not to mention your team was professional, efficient and so mindful of protecting our gardens and pool. They were a pleasure to have around the house and always kept things extremely neat and tidy even though there was so much trash coming off the roof.We also realized the investment we’ve made in the house is an added value that will help when we sell in a few years as I get closer to retiring. It will be wonderful for the next family to know they have a brand new roof and warranty to protect them when they make this their home. They came for an estimate and did not charge for just caulking.I had a small leak close to the chimney at my recently bought house and I asked some roofers to come and give me a estimate. Different roofers told me different things that needed to be done. One of them did not even bother to go up the roof. Chris Lanning, from Katy Roofing and Remodeling, explained me everything in details and showed all the potential causes for the leak. He simply caulked them and told me that that should do. If it didn't I could call him and he would redo some of the shingles and flashing and gave me an estimate for that. He did not charge for the caulking and just asked me to put a review on Google after the next rain. Rains came afterwards and the leak was gone.

We have a tile roof and one section over the garage has a small leak. So far it has taken Chris 3 trips to get it fixed, lets hope he got it this time, tile roofs can be tricky and the leak is not very obvious. Commendable that they stand by their work.
