I had some roof damage that caused a leak from solar panel installation 4 years ago. Whitney from Onit roofing was the first to respond to my inquiry. She came out the next day and did a thorough inspection. I had several questions and she would respond promptly and never tried to sell me on something. I ended up getting a whole new roof. The crew was great and finished in the same day. They cleaned up nicely and I’m very pleased. I even had them do some repairs on my mother’s house. Would highly recommend!

Josh was punctual, professional, and honest. He did everything he could to earn our business and treated us with respect. His quotes were more than thorough and explained everything. His team also hand nails the roofs which is better for warranty and frankly completely unheard of in todays day and age. They also cover and protect your yard better than anyone out there. Whitney from Onnit came out within a couple of days of contact. She gave me a detailed estimate of the repairs to be done and photos of the areas in need of a fix. Her Crew came out to do the work exactly as scheduled and completed it in a few hours, Photos of the work showed it done very well. Now my roof is good for the storm season! Her company has done several complete roofs in my neighborhood and everyone I have talked to is very happy.

Onit is my go-to roofing company in the Fulshear area. We’ve had Onit fix a popped-off dryer vent that had pulled up some shingles a couple of years ago, and it’s held up beautifully ever since.I had Josh inspect our roof again this year, in preparation for this supposedly crazy hurricane season we’re about to have, and it was another pleasant experience. He’s always right on time, communicative, friendly, and informative both in person and through text before and after the appointment. AND he uses correct grammar and has impeccable writing skills- those texts are well-written and polite, and I love that, especially in this day and age of quick, emotionless texting. And, not that it matters, but he looks like a superhero, so I feel like my roof is pretty much being taken care of by Superman, which is awesome. Thanks, Onit! Whitney gave a complete inspection to confirm the scope of the work needed, provided several options for system brands within our budget and gave us confidence in our choice for the Owens Corning system with a 30 year performance guarantee. And, without compromise, came in thousands of dollars less than two other bids. Now the timing was a critical factor, as we needed the work done almost immediately after closing on our home. I recently had a full roof, soffit and facia job done with Onit Roofing Co. I added many items as I saw how well the work was being performed! Whitney Wilson was there each day to over see the work for the day. She and her crew were on time and were very efficient in every part of this job. The exterior of my house was in bad shape and now looks like a new house. I would really recommend them to anyone wanting a quality job! I did get other quotes and Onit was by far the best and was able to do every bit of work I added along the way! You will not be disappointed using Onit Roofing and especially Whitney. Onit Roofing did an excellent job for us. We needed aging wood siding replaced with Hardie cement siding, followed by overall painting. Onit's quote was so much lower than several others' that I had to triple-check that it was indeed the quote for the whole job.They were understanding about waiting around for the ridiculous HOA. They worked with us to make the changes that we needed, and worked through some bad weather. Each day they left the front yard cleaned up when they left, and hauled off all the old siding.At the end, they were good about touchups, re-installing awnings, and even repainting the garage door when the "boss" changed her mind about the color.Our experience with Onit Roofing was only positive. When it's time to replace our roof, we know whom to call.

Reached out to Onit for a general inspection as I have an aging roof and was seeking an opinion on potentially replacing --Josh came over and did a quick and thorough review. He explained to me via pictures and talked me thru my options. Very honest and detailed. He wasn't trying to upsell or push anything that wasn't necessary at this time on my home. Highly, highly recommend! Really! Forever grateful to Whitney and her attention to detail. She was able to take me through what felt like every inch of the roof. I was also able to identify and rectify other, worse issues before our health was drastically effected. Everyone that was at my house was polite and professional, covered and cleaned up like it never happened. Nice to find a company with integrity, and especially for a purchase of this size. My home is a three-story townhouse in Montrose. I share the roof with my next door neighbor. Together we contracted with Onit Roofing.Before the job, I obtained three bids from roofing companies. We went with Onit roofing because of the professionalism of the bid, the presentation the job involved, and the excellent communication from one of the owners Whitney Wilson.I was impressed by the fact that Onit uses a dedicated team of installers. I believe Whitney told me there were 10 people on the team. Each member knows their job, and they are a precision group.I was prepared to have the job take 2 days, but they did everything in 1 day. The job site was left in immaculate condition, and one neighbor who understands the mechanics involved told me it appeared it was all done correctly. I do not have a building background. Josh is one of the most professional people you can work with. He is very honest with his work and trustful. I have called three other roofing companies who gave me no choice but to install new roofing which left me with a very huge estimate I was contemplating about. Today, 2023/8/4, marks the first anniversary of our new roof. To be responsible, I purposely waited a full year to write this review. I couldn’t be happier to say that there was absolutely NO issue after a full year test of raining, windy, and freezing days, storms and heat waves. As I remember, on the day of the new roof installation, I was surprised to see the crew showed up before dawn when they rang my bell. They were not only on time, hard-working and efficient, they were also very professional and friendly. The founder and co-founder both showed up at the site together with a supervisor and a team lead. The 10 men team finished the job at 2 pm before the sky turned into darkness. I was very grateful for Whitney to have the experienced team lead remove the two old cable dishes from the previous owner and patch the rotten roof board. I was even more appreciated when she walked extra mile to arrange a contractor to replace and paint my outdoor patio beam. That was not an easy job either! Therefore, I didn’t hesitate to recommend ONIT to my NASA neighbor friends who had their new roof installed months later. We both like their hand nail style. I think this is the most important factor in our decisions besides ONIT’s professionalism, quality, efficiency and courteousness. Two thumbs up!! After having multiple leaks and not knowing the age of our roof we decided to look into a roof replacement. For the past year we kept an eye on those in the neighborhood replacing their roofs and met with our neighbors on their experience. One company stood above the rest when it came to what our neighbors had to say... Onit. We gave them a call, and Josh came out to evaluate and provide us an estimate. He examined the roof for any damage we could claim, but there was none, thus new roof time. He very clearly went over the full process, and described why each material would be ideal for our situation (down to the nails and how they were being installed). We further had to focus on the chimney, and Josh had a clear plan to insure that there would not be any leaks. The whole replacement process was laid out very clear and we were scheduled a few weeks out, weather permitting.The day of the installation went super smooth. His crew showed up on time and our old roof was promptly removed. At this point, Josh took various photos revealing the previous damage we had which was causing the leaks. By 5:30 in the afternoon the roof was done and our property was cleaned up to near perfection. We then went over all the work that was done and preformed a visual inspection. The quoted price was exactly what we paid, with no extra / hidden charges.Overall, we are super happy with the new roof. The quality looks top notch and I'm actually looking forward to a nice rain storm where I don't have to deal with any leaks. I should note, that when it comes to value, Josh was a bit on the higher side compared to the others that we got quotes from, but the materials and the workmanship definitely warrant that. You do get what you pay for. Josh outlined the importance of these quality materials and this made a difference; other's somewhat glossed over this and just focused on color options.
