I had another roofer come by to give me a price, who wanted to upsell me on a complete roof replacement. I asked Joey M at PRA came by and his repair was a third of the repair cost and was honest about the remaining estimated lifespan of the roof without high pressure sales. He replaced a leaking flat section and put protection around pipes squirrels were chewing on. He also noticed another part of the roof where bad flashing caused some rot in the roof deck and fixed it promptly. He was communicative and the driveway was cleaned up afterwards. I was very satisfied with his service and when the life of the roof requires complete replacement he will be the first person I call. 5 stars.

We had our roof replaced after damage from Hurricane Harvey in 2017. We chose the Platinum Roofing System which came with a lifetime warranty. Over the past 6 years, we have been very happy with the service and response from Joey and his team. Our roof includes a very troublesome flat section, which we had replaced twice over the years with other installers (unsuccessfully!). It had been a constant source of leaks! Although the initial roof done by PFA had an issue with the installation, Joey acknowledged the error and completely replaced it for free. Over the years, he has come out to provide minor services to the roof and perform any needed seals. They have been professional, easy to work with, and honor their warranty. I am so glad we went with PFA for our roof - instead of companies like the two who disappeared when issues came up.

Joey and the team and PRA were great to work with. They really pressed the insurance company to get my whole roof replaced because they saw the real damage, but the insurance provider didn't care. PRA really went above and beyond to help. With all the work completed, my house look brand new! Great paint job. The drywall work they did was textured perfectly. You can't even see where the work was done! Will definitely use them again for any other work done! I hired them to do the repairs caused by Harvey. Highly recommended. Also had some additional work done caused by my kids. Pricing was very reasonable! Also, (can't remember her name), but the lady that I worked with for billing was awesome! She always answered my calls or called me back quickly! If you're needing work done, CALL THEM!

My name is Ali Mokaram and i’m an attorney in Houston, Texas. My parent’s home had severe hurricane damage last year and I met with several contractors. Joey with PRA met me personally and explained everything to me in detail and walked me through the whole process from beginning to end and was always available if I had any questions. A guy Mark from PRA knocked my door out of the blue and asked if I could give him free roof inspection since, they were replacing roofs in my area because of hail damage back in November. I agreed because I'd already had some minor leaks and it had been many years since my last replacement. When he came down sure enough he found damage and had even taken pictures but, he did walk me around the house and pointed out that my gutters were in pretty bad shape because of all my trees. He explained that since he had found the damage he asked me to sign a contingency which I thought was fair because I would have never known about it and he'd done all of the work. Mark met directly with the adjuster who agreed with his findings that the whole roof needed to be replaced. Then we addressed the gutters and he suggested that we roll the cost into the roof package since I'd already saved several thousands of dollars. There were also areas with rotten fascia that had to be replaced. He came in with some samples and even brought financing information in. I decided on a roof and gutter package with financing included. The whole project went exactly as Mark had planned and was completed in a very timely and professional manor. I have recommended PRA to several of my neighbors who were satisfied as well. .

I signed a contract with Michael Reale, representative for Professional Roof Applicators, on January 23, 2019, for the Platinum Roofing System that carries a lifetime warranty and which carries a higher cost and was told production would contact me within three (3) weeks to set up the date for material delivery and roof installation. I showed Mr. Reale what appeared to be a possible leak from the roof that was coming into the wall and told him I was anxious to have the roof replaced as soon as possible to prevent any more damage in the wall. When I did not hear from production after 4+ weeks, I called to follow up. Michael Reale told me he would check with production and would be back in touch. After couple more weeks went by, I called and left voicemail message. I then received a text message from him on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, in which he acknowledged my voicemail message and said he "spoke with production yesterday and materials will be dropped by end of next week," which would be the week of April 8-12, 2019. By Wednesday, April 17, no materials were dropped off and nor had I received a call from Mr. Reale or from production. I then called Mr. Reale and asked who he had spoken with in production. He told me Nita Marks, who works in the office, but when I called her, she told me she didn't understand why he gave her name and number to me since she has nothing to do with production. I then told Mr. Reale I wanted a refund of my deposit, and he told me I had to speak with Joey Messina, the owner. Mr. Messina then told me that the delivery had been moved out to the week of April 22-26 (which did not happen); but in the meantime, I found out on April 23 that the Platinum roofing lifetime warranty would not apply to the flat roof portion of my roof, even though it is written on the contract "Platinum roofing system estate gray duration & gray modified flat roofing." Mr. Reale also verbally confirmed that the flat roofing would be included under the Platinum roofing system warranty since that was an important point with me, I advised Mr. Messina that I would not have signed the contract had I known the flat roofing would not be covered under the lifetime warranty. He then tried to tell me that according to the pictures in my file, shingles would work on that part of the roof & then the entire roof would be covered. I was hesitant doing that since I know the slope of that area is less than 2/12, and shingles should not be installed on a roof with a pitch that low. I was also surprised he would say that shingles would work since Mr. Reale had come to my house and confirmed that the pitch was too low for shingles. Owens Corning also confirmed that if shingles are put on a roof with slope less than 2/12, it would be considered an application error and would not be covered under the Platinum warranty. I have repeatedly asked Mr. Messina for a refund given these and other circumstances, but the only offer was for me to pay a 25% cancellation fee, which would amount to $3,525, which I refused since I was deceived about the warranty, the delivery dates for materials, and the production contact. (There were other issues as well, but will stop here due to length of review.) I then engaged an attorney and filed a complaint with the NC Attorney Generals office, the Better Business Bureau, and Owens Corning.
