Mark Smith was the project manager and he was great. He came out to size up the job, scheduled the contractors, and checked in several times on the progress. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. They repaired all the roof issues in one day. Everyone showed up exactly when he said they would. They were all friendly and competent. The collapsed ceiling in the bedroom was a big mess but they made it look like new and cleaned up everything.After completion Mark came to inspect the work and made a follow up call a couple of weeks later just to make sure everything was alright. Great team and outstanding customer service from all. Bruce, Cecilia and Jordan were outstanding. There are not words to satisfactorily communicate how well this project was from start to finish! They are so friendly, professional and customer oriented. The task was to add an additional pantry cabinet to our kitchen and it couldn’t have been done any better!! Jordan is so organized, and implements a clean as you go approach so refreshing! His work was top notch! Bruce ensured the measurements at the beginning and understanding of work requested was well documented, and the entire process was well communicated. Cecilia was the glue that held them altogether, her followups in email and calls was spectacular and she treated us as if we were the only customers she had and we know she’s a busy person. I called in to get information about wanting to remodel my master bathroom. A young lady by the name Cecilia answered and was very kind and helped answer every inquiry I had about my remodel. She even followed up with me to see how everything went with my appointment with Corey, which made me feel like I was important and like my business mattered to her. This was my first time to use this good local family run business. My repairs were from the April hail storm in 2021 shortly after snowmagedon. I used Compassion for all repairs such as roof, gutters, exterior painting, fence, etc. Because I like to do some small repairs, they worked with me on the insurance so I could use any extra for adding extra gutters and painting as long as it was for the house. I had issues with my initial insurance adjuster and Taylor from the office was so patient. They were trying to low bid my fence but I finally got my insurance to give me a new adjuster who agreed with Compassion which was significant insurance money. They were very fast on the roof repairs, especially.since we were getting more storms later than usual. Like any company, subs are not perfect, so any issue I had, I gave them a call and had everything corrected. I even got a good reliable A/C and window company for future use through them. Your drivers are the worst! Not very compassionate. I just got cut off on the Highway by one of your drivers who cut me off and almost cause a horrible wreck. Big liability for a business. Definitely not the kind of person you want out there driving your vans. I will never use a business that hires people like that.Thank you for responding to my post. Yes, I will be happy to provide more information about this incident. It happened on I-30 East as I was approaching down town Dallas, right before merging into I-35. It happened on Tuesday, 12/20/22 at 7:45 am. The driver had a beanie on, but I believe he had brown or black hair and a goatee.

Whenever I need any work done on my home there is only one company I will call, Compassion Construction. For years I’ve heard Mark Davis on AM 660 The Answer recommending Compassion Construction. A few years ago my next door neighbor needed a new roof and selected Compassion. I personally saw the completed work and their meticulous clean up after the completion of the project. My next door neighbor raved about Compassion.One day soon thereafter, I noticed that we had some shingles missing, totally exposing our attic. The weather forecast was calling for several inches of rain in 48 hours. I called Compassion. Cory came out that same day looked at the roof and the next morning had his crew there to repair the exposed section. He also inspected the rest of the roof and said everything else was in good condition.Over the last couple years we were hit with a few hail storms. Other neighbors were having their roofs replaced so I called Compassion back out to re-inspect ours. This time Compassion said the roof did have damage. Compassion worked with our insurance company pointing out sky light and interior damage. They were able to get our insurance company to increase their initial claim by 40%! Since we have been in our house since 1999 we needed exterior trim repair and long overdue painting. Compassion took care of the entire project and we could not be more pleased. Just as we witnessed with our neighbor’s project, Compassion did incredible work and made a strong case with our insurance company to get work covered we would have overlooked. They do quality work. They are extremely honest. That’s what you will experience with Compassion.Later this year we have another long overdue project on the drawing board. My house was severely wind damaged during the Dallas tornado in 2018. Compassion Construction was so busy but they made sure all of the repairs on my house were done in a timely manner. The tornado winds ripped off large sections of my roof and my house had water damage all throughout. Everyone was okay but out house was devastated. The owner of compassion construction worked directly with me and got my insurance to pay for everything. We had to stay in short term housing for a while during the construction. They removed all the water-damaged stuff from our house and repaired everything. We got a whole new roof and literally every room in the house was remodeled. They did an excellent job with everything. When they were finishing up we noticed that there was slightly unpainted section in the corner of our bathroom. They sent someone out that day to touch it up. I’m so pleased with the work they did. Their entire staff was highly professional and communicated with me well. I had a hot water heater break above my master bathroom.  I was able to stop the water from coming in by shutting off the water main but I didn’t really know what to do after that. Compassion Construction came and got the heater replaced. They also got my entire bathroom repaired and remodeled after all of the water damage. They were really down to earth and felt like friends by the second time they came to the house. My insurance company gave me an initial estimate to replace some drywall that was wet, the ceiling, and the heater, but by the time the Corey finished my insurance agreed to pay more than 3 times the initial amount to get my bathroom totally remodeled. If it wasn’t for Corey my insurance company would have paid me more than $20,000 less than they ended up paying on my claim. Thank God for Corey! Even the cabinets that were wet got replaced. Corey is the best and Compassion Construction will always be my go to company for stuff like this. If you need a great general contractor that won’t cut any corners then I can’t recommend Compassion Construction more highly.

The team at Compassion Construction exceeded every expectation we had for a water damage remediation company. We’ve never had to make an insurance claim before and we really didn’t know what to expect. Corey, the owner, worked with us personally during every step of the process from starting the claim with our insurance company, getting the busted pipe sealed so we could turn our water back on and, then drying out our house. It took several weeks for the entire project start to finish and Corey communicated well the entire time so that we never once felt confused about when someone was coming to our house to work on something. They got the wet drywall cut and replaced, the insulation removed and replaced, the flooring in 2 rooms removed and replaced and several other tasks done all with excellence.I cannot recommend this company more highly, I hope I never have to make an insurance claim again. But If I do I will absolutely hire Compassion Construction to do the work.

I used Compassion Roofing for repairs from hail damage - roof, gutters, solar screens, garage doors, painting. They met with my insurance adjustor and found damage that I would have never noticed. Work was done in a professional manner. Work was done on time. Work was done for the price told up front.I have called Jacob on several occasions to ask questions and he patiently discusses the issue and tries to help me without making a "service call" or charging. Usually, the issue gets resolved with just a phone call. We selected Compassion Construction to restore our house after the 2021 freeze damage. Immediately after contacting Compassion, they mitigated the water damage by sending a crew to remove all damaged materials, and followed up by sending a ServPro crew to remove all the moisture to prevent mold from forming. Given the high volume of houses affected by the freeze, we were very fortunate to have chosen a contractor that prioritized our desperate needs.The restoration did take longer than we had hoped, but given the situation that so many houses were affected in the midst of the pandemic with labor and supply shortages (including numerous upgrades we desired), Compassion did everything within their power to expedite the restoration while minimizing the amount of time we had to move out of our house.No doubt, having a good homeowner policy and a sound contractor was key in lessening our stress and out of pocket expenses. The silver lining in this experience was that we were able to include so many upgrades because Compassion worked with us every step of the way in the design and selection of materials, while keeping within our budget.We are very pleased with our “new” home and delighted that the investment we made in the upgrades have significantly increased the value of our house. I called several roofing companies before I spoke with Corey at Compassion and noticed a night and day difference between the companies. I hired them and less than a week later my roof was replaced and I was amazed at how fast they worked.They installed a radiant barrier and I immediately noticed a difference in my electric bill. I would never recommend this company to anyone. We chose this company because they were the only ones who did roof repairs and inside renovations, which we needed due to the leaks from our old roof. Cory came, he was wonderful and very polite and we really liked him, but we did not know that he was not going to be the one doing the actual work. We live in Sherman, which is pretty far away from their Fort Worth office. They chose to take us as clients anyway, but they had to hire a bunch of different contractors that they don’t normally use since we are so far away. The product of that teamwork between them and contractors they didn’t know has proven disastrous. Every single job that was done has had to be redone. They painted our porch at the wrong temperature (in the winter) and all of the paint peeled off and is bubbling and cracking. The man coming to fix our doors was four hours late and when he left of the doors still had cracks under them that I could put my fingers through. The brand new roof leaked in seven places in our attic because the roof crew forgot to put a sealant around the pipes in the roof. We spent nine months calling and emailing Compassion trying to get these things done right. The roof was sealed and the doors were finally fixed, but the porch is still bubbling and peeling. They did manage to hang the drywall correctly, but they didn’t actually fix the siding outside, so now that wall is leaking and stained again. Moral of the story, stay local and hire the contractors yourself.

The gentleman that came out to look at my home to give me an estimate is fantastic. However, customer service is lacking. I was placed on hold- transferred to another person (Laurii)- and was basically reprimanded for calling twice. I told her that they were late on the quote and she made excuses, which I don’t mind, but the tone of her voice, attitude, and way of speaking were the problem.Update: customer service rep- Taylor - called and was very nice and apologetic. Are your insurance rates going up? You can thank these guys. They are unscrupulous in how they will go after insurance money on your claim. I know of an instance where the homeowner didn't even realize that they were trying to get his entire house painted and garage doors replaced. Do you think they would have done those repairs if the homeowner wasn't even aware of the damage? The homeowner even thought they were unscrupulous. They never stop. Pass these guys over and save us all the cost of increased insurance premiums.
